Two comments: 1) highly recommend a ups battery be used for camera power unless you have an internal battery in case of a power interruption even though that is not shown in the demonstration here and 2) the serial cable to the C-Box is only required if you are using a wired start. Had a customer find that confusing this week.

What is the purpose of the ethernet-connectors in the connection box?
We just purchased a Gold package.... the camera will not boot properly and the computer won't recognize it. Anyone else have this problem?

will the camera only work with the connection box?? and starter cable?
No, can use without but may need it for other things such as trackside clock, wind gauge etc.
