I love hearing rave reviews about Virgin because she's my favorite cruise line, bar none! I am NOT a partier. I am NOT a drinker. I am not a member of the LGBTQ+ community -- but I AM open minded. I love the incredibly diverse passengers and crew. And I love the HAPPY crew. They are so positive and friendly. I'm in my mid-50s and... erm, fluffy. Despite that and despite preferring a quiet environment, I have a marvelous time on Virgin. The parties are at night when I am snoring away. The cruise is what I want it to be, and I couldn't love it more.
Hubby and I are in our mid-late 50s, not partiers either but Virgin appeals to us so much. Hoping to go at the end of the year with my, by then, 18yo. I think he will love it. He’ll have his own room so can come and go as he pleases.
I’m not fluffy, but everything else you said I am! My hubby is a little more traditional but honesty if people are nice and friendly, we are happy. Is it true that they don’t have set times for any shows? I get FOMO alot and live shows, so I’m wondering if I would like that

I am very large. I do not do well with flimsy seating or seats that are not comfortable. Virgin has a variety of seating types and I was ALWAYS comfortable. Both in-cabin and in public spaces. And I agree, felt like everyone was welcome and the ship had a wonderful mix of ages, and people.
It was great to meet you guys on this trip. I had my 82 and 77 year old dad and mom with me for this Thanksgiving cruise, and while some things were too young or edgy for them, they still had a good time. The private karaoke in the Groupie made for some great family time. I love Virgin and will be going on my 5th cruise with them in March.
You addressed exactly what my fear with cruising this line might be: that I'm not one of the "beautiful people." I'm also a solo female traveler in their 50s. Thank you for that, and I'm seriously considering booking! I am so interested in the very different experience, and also so tired of the cut rate dining lately on the other lines!
I went in Sept of 2023. At the time I was 51 and traveling solo. I made this cruise to be what I wanted and needed it to be for me. Im an introvert. I highly recommend this line to anyone! I plan on keeping Virgin as my #1 preference. I will be cruising this September on Celebrity Beyond.
Was on the Scarlet Lady in February 2022 where there were only 500 passengers on board. I absolutely loved it. The food was the best food I’ve had on any cruiseline I’ve been on, and I’ve been on over 60 cruises from Carnival to Crystal. I took my 21 year old granddaughter and she enjoyed it. We also went on the same excursion that you guys took the rum and chocolate tour. The Italian restaurant was my favorite restaurant. Would go on Virgin again in a heartbeat. Thanks again for a great video which brought back great memories!
All I have to say we've been cruising for 35 years and the best cruising in my life has been during covid. I think we did eight cruises during covid most of which were under 45% capacity. We are princess people. I agree with you on the service I don't think it has a damn thing to do with Virgin voyages I'm telling you princess and Holland America were unbelievable. The food was great the service was second to none none and the crew couldn't do enough for you they really wanted to go back to cruising and we enjoyed not having all those mask wearing clowns on the ship LOL
I'm a huge fan of Virgin Voyages and encourage everyone to give it a try and judge for themselves. The quality of food and bar beverages are SO much higher than Royal/Norwegian/etc. The service is exactly the vibe I want, not stuffy. And I love the design elements.

As a travel advisor that specializes in accessibility and luxury, I LOVE VIRGIN!!! They are just ~chef’s kiss~ with wheelchair accessibility. They’re also an amazing value and treats TAs well. I feel like they really help people get out of their comfort zone which is fun!
The cuisine looked first class. I am not keen on the design of the ship, but I cannot think of a modern ship that I do like! LOL! For me, the P&O and Cunard in the 1950/60s is what a ship needs to look like, but that is totally out of fashion now! Thank you for the video! Have an amazing week!

My partner and I just returned from an 8-night Caribbean cruise, Virgin of course, which was incredible! The ship, the crew, the food - OMG! you will not eat better! the onboard shows - the 'dual reality' show was amazing! the excursions! Our ship was Valiant Lady which departs from Miami. We can not wait to do another. We are now Virgin Cruise sailors for life! (oh, don't forget, there are no kids onboard! - it was hilarious to watch the Disney ship dock in Nassau and all the parents look at our ship with their mouths open! LOL)
I stayed at the Virgin hotel in Dallas and it’s one of my favorite hotels. Now I’m obsessed with the entire line. Planes, hotel and ships. I love the style.
I am from Miami and I am glad to hear that you had a wonderful time here and you that loved the way people behaved on the ship. I visited the Macorix Rum place and loved it. I tried the rums, which is the typical beverage in my native country (Cuba). I purchased the 7 year old rum, it is the best. I am 68 now and very open minded so I don't care about anyone's preferences and I would love to sail on Virgin, especially because there are no kids running around. I loved all I saw in your video. You guys are the best!!! Every Sunday I look forward to spending time with you. Don’t think Virgin is for us but enjoy watching you guys enjoy yourself. We enjoy the large ships of Royal Caribbean and others along that line. That’s why there are all different kind because everyone doesn’t like the same thing. Even though we certainly are not young we enjoy the big slides and activities like those on the other lines.
My husband and I sailed Valiant Lady in December 2022 in the Caribbean.. we had a Brilliant Suite. It was amazing. We met some of the nicest people EVER and that was my favorite part about it. One lovely couple of married ladies, adopted me so that I had someone to go out with later at night when my husband was over it for the day. We repaid them by taking them to the Rock Star cabana we had rented and we spent our last day in Bimini having just the best time with them. We are sailing again in October this year, (sadly not Rock Star.. it will be missed) but I hope we meet some more Cruise Besties this time around. It really made it the funnest vacation ever.

I did a Virgin Voyage cruise las October. I loved it, been on many other cruise lines and really just loved the Virgin, there were a few issues I had with it but overall it was amazon. I loved to see so many different people enjoying themselves, being themselves. So much fun. I still have to finish editing my videos too, only got a couple days worth up so far. lol. I would do it again for sure! I wish I was closer to Florida sometimes. (I am in Vegas) Cheers guys! love it. And the Scarlet night is the best pool deck party I have ever seen and experienced, I danced in the pool too!
I've only been on two cruises, Magic and Celebration with Carnival. I want to try them all but Virgin has shot to the top of the list! Thanks for the video.

After watching your videos on virgin voyages we booked a cruise for my husbands 60 th birthday March 2024 on the brilliant lady, we are so looking forward to it especially with all the negative comments from the other cruise lines.
We sailed on that ship in November as well. It was a blast. The food is great, such a good vibe, crew is great, beautiful ship, etc. We would definitely sail on her again.
Oh wow so much included with Virgin.. Love the ice cream place…free!!! You could definitely see you’ve had a Caribbean tasting session or two…lol Great to see it so diverse….you can have fun at any age…we’re in our 60’s and some cruise lines are a bit…er quiet shall we say!!!! One RUclipsr I watched recently (who has sailed with Virgin a couple of times, and was on an inaugural sailing to boot) say that they thought the furniture looked like it came from IKEA. Regarding that issue, I follow four channels (including you both!) And this is only the second time the furniture issue was brought up. (It was on a channel I’m not subbed to.) I admire your boys honesty and truthfulness on whatever cruise line or cruise you both sail with. I trust what you both have to say. And I hope to take a cruise in the future! 😊👍🛳

We want to book a Virgin voyage but it's difficult to find a cruise with them that is seven nights or more out of the Caribbean. To make it worth the travel hassle, we usually only book seven nights or more. Maybe they'll expand and have more options because I think we'd love Virgin Voyages! Great video as always! Thank you!
I always enjoy your reviews, we mostly only do Carnival, but would like to try Virgin Voyages seams like it is more layed back and the food looks amazing. Being in my 60's and I love cruising but the older I get I need some more layed back and not all that hyper stuff. OMG when David came out the bathroom with his workout gear I never laughed so hard in my life lol Keep bringing us those great videos and being so honest.
We loved it, we did the Valiant Lady in July last year. Loved it. We wouldn't cruise with anyone else. The Dock bar or the Dry dock at the back as I called it, loved that bit of the ship.
I’m jealous! I’m sitting on the balcony of my room on the Odyssey of the Seas. The food in the buffet. Is repetitive and there’s three tables left to of Indian food. 3 tables of American food, but they’re all exactly the same. 6 dishes. They have a hamburger station and a very small pasta section. About 1/4 of the items that we usually had on other ships. Have a great time with Stef!!!!!

Just got back from our first cruise since covid. It was fantastic,except I did get covid on the way home - at least it was the way home 😊. Looking at Resilient Lady for later this year, just a short one to celebrate my sons end of high school, he’ll be 18yo and we will get him his own cabin and hopefully he’ll invite a friend. He is unsure of Virgin as he has only done RCI and as a teen. I think he will love Virgin as he is such a sociable person. I plan on showing him this.

I live in florida so I have sailed out from Miami many times , that cruise terminal is pretty new I remember when it was under construction. Whenever I watch your videos I have to make sure I have something to eat because you always make me hungry. Have been to quite a few ports in the Dominica Republic not the cleanest. Since you guys recommend virgin cruise line I will have to check it out
I’m in my early 50’s and my Mum is in her mid 70’s, we are very close and I’m looking into us traveling on our first cruise together. Following a conversation with a subject matter expert today, I am considering a Virgin cruise. We want to fave fun, but we don’t want to be overwhelmed as it will be our first cruise. I’ve heard really encouraging things about the food on Virgin cruises too.
Virgin is a fantastic choice. Any cruise can be overwhelming for a first cruise but if you take it easy and remember no to cram everything in you will be fine.
Wow all the beverages and all the food included even snacks that is really good! And that big couch/bed looked very comfy David! And lots of vegan food (dairy allergic) to choose also great.

My hubby and I are taking our first vacation in 10 years and I had the wild idea to try a cruise we have never been on one before so I have bing watches all of your videos almost and while the water slides and all the fun activities that are on the other cruises I really think the adult cruise would be more relaxing when we wanted to relax and fun and adventurous when we want that. After watching your videos on virgin voyages we booked a cruise for my husbands 60 th birthday March 2024 on the brilliant lady, we are so looking forward to it especially with all the negative comments from the other cruise lines.
We sailed on that ship in November as well. It was a blast. The food is great, such a good vibe, crew is great, beautiful ship, etc. We would definitely sail on her again.

The rain and traffic on embarkation day was insane. We were detoured so far out of the way Uber texted us asking if we were ok. Was good chatting with you onboard.

One RUclipsr I watched recently (who has sailed with Virgin a couple of times, and was on an inaugural sailing to boot) say that they thought the furniture looked like it came from IKEA. Regarding that issue, I follow four channels (including you both!) And this is only the second time the furniture issue was brought up. (It was on a channel I’m not subbed to.) I admire your boys honesty and truthfulness on whatever cruise line or cruise you both sail with. I trust what you both have to say. And I hope to take a cruise in the future! 😊👍🛳

We want to book a Virgin voyage but it's difficult to find a cruise with them that is seven nights or more out of the Caribbean. To make it worth the travel hassle, we usually only book seven nights or more. Maybe they'll expand and have more options because I think we'd love Virgin Voyages! Great video as always! Thank you!
Why don't you do a back to back 5 night plus 4 night Eastern Western cruise? Several people have done this.

I always enjoy your reviews, we mostly only do Carnival, but would like to try Virgin Voyages seams like it is more layed back and the food looks amazing. Being in my 60's and I love cruising but the older I get I need some more layed back and not all that hyper stuff. OMG when David came out the bathroom with his workout gear I never laughed so hard in my life lol Keep bringing us those great videos and being so honest.

We loved it, we did the Valiant Lady in July last year. Loved it. We wouldn't cruise with anyone else. The Dock bar or the Dry dock at the back as I called it, loved that bit of the ship.

I’m jealous! I’m sitting on the balcony of my room on the Odyssey of the Seas. The food in the buffet. Is repetitive and there’s three tables left to of Indian food. 3 tables of American food, but they’re all exactly the same. 6 dishes. They have a hamburger station and a very small pasta section. About 1/4 of the items that we usually had on other ships. Have a great time with Stef!!!!!

Just got back from our first cruise since covid. It was fantastic,except I did get covid on the way home - at least it was the way home 😊. Looking at Resilient Lady for later this year, just a short one to celebrate my sons end of high school, he’ll be 18yo and we will get him his own cabin and hopefully he’ll invite a friend. He is unsure of Virgin as he has only done RCI and as a teen. I think he will love Virgin as he is such a sociable person. I plan on showing him this.

I live in florida so I have sailed out from Miami many times , that cruise terminal is pretty new I remember when it was under construction. Whenever I watch your videos I have to make sure I have something to eat because you always make me hungry. Have been to quite a few ports in the Dominica Republic not the cleanest. Since you guys recommend virgin cruise line I will have to check it out
I’m in my early 50’s and my Mum is in her mid 70’s, we are very close and I’m looking into us traveling on our first cruise together. Following a conversation with a subject matter expert today, I am considering a Virgin cruise. We want to fave fun, but we don’t want to be overwhelmed as it will be our first cruise. I’ve heard really encouraging things about the food on Virgin cruises too.
Virgin is a fantastic choice. Any cruise can be overwhelming for a first cruise but if you take it easy and remember no to cram everything in you will be fine.
