    My name is Isaac Crace. I was born and raised in Nampa Idaho and first hand have seen this valley go from cornfields and tractors to crowded sidewalks and suburbs. From growing up here in Nampa Idaho I know this valley like the back of my hand. Nampa Idaho & Idaho in general has shaped me into an avid outdoorsman with a great love for the outdoor life that the Idaho has to offer with the most public land in the world. I can always be found outside be it hunting and fishing or floating the river in the summer. To fuel my lifestyle I got in the family business making me a 3rd generation Realtor in the Nampa Idaho area. Helping people buy and sell houses in Nampa Idaho has allowed me to guide others through their biggest investments in life and make friends along the way.

    I lived in Boise from 1986 to 2004. I went back several times to visit friends and the changes were quite surprising. For myself, the biggest change was BSU. I was a student there from 1987 until I graduated in 1992. I switched majors, so it took longer than usual. Anyhoo, our football team was a joke back then and now we're a national phenomena. I couldn't believe that Fiesta Bowl victory! The city itself changed here and there, but the people were still the down-to-earth, hardworking folks I knew and still love. Go Broncos!

      There has definitely been some serious changed in the Boise area over the last 20 years. Have you been back to visit since?

    Thank you for putting this video together, Isaac. This is the best video I've seen on the Boise city area. 👍👍👍 You really provided a great feel for the city and what it has to offer. As you know, we're interested in the area around BSU. It seems like most of the homes in that area are older homes. We're interested in newer homes. I did see some of the new development going on there. Do the areas near the University have newer developments? What builders are active in the area?

      I’m glad you enjoyed it! This one definitely took awhile to put together with all of the filming required. I’ll do some looking and see what I can find as far as who is building in there, a lot of smaller builders likely as the tracts arent large enough for production builders to consider them

    I'm a single, foreign national that I applied for a job offer which pays 31K per year in Boise and get permanent residence
    Was selected for the job but at the end declined the offer, due the relatively high cost of living and expecting to become even higher in a couple of years
    Did I make a good decision?

      That would have been about six hundred dollars a week; you probably would have had a one or two week paid vacation after your first year of employment; I’m guessing that you would have had medical; dental insurance from your employer with some co pays.
      I agree that you would be paying significant rental increases over the next few years but that shouldn’t have discouraged you from taking the job; could have searched for roommates maybe a fellow employee or someone from a singles club; I’m sure that there are plenty of people looking for roommates.

    I’ve watched several of your vids and each one makes Idaho look like a great place for a deep red type like me to go to retire. I do see the “don’t move here” posts. Are those intended for Kalifornia types who want to bring their blue politics with them or we’re sick of crowds of transplants of all types? I’m in Tampa, FL and every vid I’ve seen looks more and more appealing. Very pro 2A and a mind my own business type. Subbing as soon as i post this to see more of your vids when I have time. Colorado was beautiful but has been ruined by Kalifornia types who brought their voting habits with them and turned it blue and brought the problems they left Kali for with them to Colorado according to friends in Denver. I loved Wyoming when I visited there, but that was in 1988. Looking to relocate to a place where I can enjoy liberty and avoid nanny state meddling. Love the geography of Idaho and Florida is filling up with angry SJW types as blue states collapse. I’ll be watching more of your vids and like what I’ve seen so far very much.

      @user-xf1gn1uq4l What point? You have no point.....allot of the country people who are doing well financially are working more than one job or have multiple sources of income...if someone is complaining about money then don't be lazy and get a second or third income, life isn't free!

    • @Стрелок-ш7с
      @Стрелок-ш7с 11 месяцев назад +1

      @@levinoble "Just work 3 jobs! pull yourself up by your bootstraps!" There is no valor in being a serf to the system. Regular white collar office jobs shouldn't result in people having to work a second job just to make ends meet because the cost of living is so horrendous. Blue collar folk being worked to death working 16-18 hours a day at 3 jobs isn't something to be proud of either. Maybe if you opened a book you would see that people fought very long and hard for the right to not be taken advantage of by the system. Life isn't free, but technology has made us more productive not less, while wages in idaho seem to be stuck in 1998....

      From my experience and those I know it is not a hot topic issue. It is difficult for me to speak for everyone because I haven't been in their shoes however I have never encountered it very much here. Clients, that I have had move here attest to it being less of an issue than in big cities like LA, New York etc. Live and let live kinda vibe here

      Boise is extremely racist. All of Idaho is. Don’t move there. And they have bears. And bugs. And there’s a smell I can’t describe about the place. If you’ve visited, you know what I mean. It is really just best to not move there at all. Come and visit though. Lots of great things to do. Just don’t move there.

    Nampa is just a suburb of Boise. The whole Treasure Valley is way overpriced, overhyped, and quickly looking like China and other Communist countries with acres of ugly apartment buildings. Since the mass "migration" of out-of-staters who can afford the overpriced homes, many of the locals can't afford to live there. If you live in Nampa, do not take a job in Meridian or Boise, since they are East of Nampa, the traffic in the mornings heading East will quickly demoralize you, sitting backed up in stagnant traffic patterns. And heading back West after about 3-3:00 PM will be backed up clear into Boise.

    • @izgler

      This is true. It has a nickname of IdaChina for a reason. Too many commies. It is best if you don’t move there as you may become a commie too. And they have giant flies. No joke. Visit, but don’t move there like, ever.

      In General we have an extremely low population of homeless people and it is a rare sight for me to see any homeless people throughout my day and if i do it is just one or two people. The police are some of the friendliest i have ever met, there is an overwhelming support for our first responders in our community and many of them love to be here as they moved from other states where they weren't respected or appreciated.

    • @levinoble
      @levinoble 11 месяцев назад +1

      The police here are great. Give it a few years, and the homeless population will grow with all the people moving here. There will be fewer jobs, and the cost of living to pay ratio will be tough.
