My Dad was a Brockway Cummins fan . We had a a new '59 Brockway conventional with a 220 Cummins. Then in '65 we went to the Brockway factory in New York to watch his brand new '65 cabover Brockway roll off the line. It was very special day I will alway remember . I'll never forget that truck, It was Cummins 250 and a 10 speed roadranger . The most unique option it had for the time was a power window on the passenger door . Lastly , the price of the truck was $17,400 dollars . We got to drive it back home to Ohio.
Wow that was great and they sounded as good as they looked too! Absolutely nothing today sounds as good as a detroit diesel winding up through the gears! They even sound great while ideling!👍👍👍wish I could of seen them in person.
