@@puddleduckist, yeah great show! They don't make shows like that anymore. They make a new Bronco. It's not as cool as my Bronco:

Yeah the new Bronco is ok, already has had recalls. Nothing beats the old classics though, they are just cool! They are so expensive now its crazy.

@@puddleduckist, yup. I paid 2 grand for my '75 Bronco in '99. People are nuts right now! Won't last, just lost another car buddy last week, he was 74 years old and had some amazing stories to tell. Each year there are less of us fighting over and bidding on these cars, and after our generation, I think that's it for 60s car lovers. Very few youngsters seem to be very much into them. I see prices dropping fast some time in the next 30 years, even on cars like my split window coupe. For right now though, people are going nuts. On facebook I just spotted a car in the "muscle cars for sale" group, it's a '68 Mustang fastback, gold, 289 2 barrel, C4 automatic transmission, nice stock restoration, and $60k was the asking price. Okay, where do I start? There's so much going on there. It was advertised in "muscle cars for sale". Is it a muscle car? No it isn't. 2V 289 and a C4 and $60k, what's going on here? I figured the car was for sale in CA, because Californians are famously crazy people smoking weed. Nope, for sale in SC, and that's why facebook wanted me to see it. I get calls all the time, robo spam calls, about how my car's factory warranty is about to expire, or how there's some sort of IRS problem, or this or that, and it's obviously bs, and I hang up, but do I blame the caller, or should I blame the idiots that fall for telephone scams? Because if no one fell for it, and they never made a dime, then the calls would stop, right? So do I blame the guy asking crazy money, or the guy that's willing to pay it? Back in '68, there was good incentive to buy a Mustang, rather than a GTO. The Mustang was way cheaper than the GTO, so you save money and buy the Mustang, but there's a reason the Mustang was way cheaper. It was built way cheaper. It was a cheaply built car in the 60s, and if you restore it to original condition today, you've now got a fully restored car that's still poorly engineered and cheaply built. If you've got $60k for a 60s car, you can do so much better than a 289 2V Mustang. And this is coming from a guy who's first car was a 289 2V Mustang. If I had big money like that, I'm looking for a '70 Judge. Or are they $100k now? I haven't been keeping track.
