Nice device. Please send me a copy of that spreadsheet! LOL! Our handmade A-rigs run about 6 foot at 3mph when set back 65 feet. But , that data was determined at great cost. LOL. Now, I know what I want for my birthday! My luck the biggest striper in the lake would hit, break my line, and take my transducer first time down! Thanks for posting.

I see you have a Marine Mat type floor in your boat, how long have you had it installed? I don't live too far from you and always wondered if boots in the winter time or colder months would wear out the foam any? What's your opinion? Thanks!

hey bud, It had it in it when I got the boat. I like it. It cleans up pretty good and seems to be holding up just fine
I believe its the seadek brand

I would be willing to pay for your spread sheet on the mini Macks. I really can't swing the $850 for a smart troll system but would love to have a spreadsheet showing depth at speed. Thanks for any help!

Just do an internet search for trolling depth and speed charts.

This was a great video love how you tested speeds and depths with your rig. Where do you by a smart troll device? Do you know if they work with IPhone?

It’s android only I think. Www.smarttroll.com is the website

Just subscribed to your channel- love your videos ! I am just getting started with trolling umbrella rigs. Ordered two of the 5-jig rigs from captain mack's- the 2 oz jig heads and the 3 oz jig heads. Would love to know the weight of the rigs you generally pull on planers and on lead core line and how far back and at what speeds. Is there any way to see your spreadsheet ? Thanks !!

Hey Paul that is great you will love Capt Macks stuff!
We pull the Mini Macks A-Rigs behind boards. Not really tried the big umbrella rigs on them yet? I’ll get ya some depth info for the a-rigs if u plan on trying them . Just let me know

@@RelicArms That would be great ! Would love to be able to pull two lead core lines and two regular lines on planers. Just don't know how much line to put out- trying to fish 20 ft deep. Thanks !

Also, you mentioned that you pull Mini-Mack's on the planer boards. Could you tell me specifically which Mini Mack's ? - there are several options on Captain mack's website. Thanks !!!

@@paulbisbee4804 Hey bud so the TR-5b are the mini macks ive been running
behind boards you will need a 1.5- 2oz trolling weight or inline sinker and 100ft of line behind the board to get you around 25ft . at 2mph.
as far as leadcore 3 colors (in the water) at 2mph would be 20ft

I hope to add my smart troll this winter. Was your rigs weighted at all? I will start making data with some Xraps and nomad deep diving plugs as well. I bought the two sensor unit. Are you running two transducers?

    • @RelicArms
      @RelicArms  3 года назад

It’s a single transducer on the boat, and up to 6 probes or transmitters. I only have one . So I’m making a data chart for everything I run at the moment, our lakes have lots of timber so I try not to fish w the transmitters on. My a-rigs didn’t have additional weight at first, this has allowed me to dial in depth by adding inline weights to them though

@@RelicArms thansk. I'm running two 12" Simrads Evo3's with an additional Airmar HW175 with custom Freq. I will have to mount the smart troll II above one of my trim tabs. Hopefully, it will not interfere with signal. If you get a chance, check out Mike Smedley @ Team Old School on RUclips. He has some great info concerning the Simrads. Maybe soon i will have some data to trade with you.
