They're not a legit K-pop band. I don't think they should be lumped into that. They're way too good for the industry. There is no group doing what they're doing. But sadly there under a huge label that doesn't benefit them.
Also side note, I think it's actually incredibly smart of Day6 to do cover songs for big performances like this. It's a really good way to get your audience engaged, since their music isn't really atypical, in contrast to K-pop music. Very few artists are that self aware.
I would have liked to see a cover then their own song, but honestly it's a big deal that they even got a stage. I didn't think the snakes at MAMA would allow it.

Agreed 100%. It is a goosebump performance. Both groups are troopers. I bet they knew they were short changed yet they pulled out an electrifying performance to prove to the audience that award or no award, stage time or short stage time, they are kings.

Altough i wished for day6 better too let's be real. Got7 and Day6 aren't that huge in korea so this solution was perfect and i think it's fair that they sang a got7 song since theyve been longer here. i think this was a good opportunity for both of the bands to get promoted more
