We have been in the mobile home business for years, and thought why not upload videos about something we can relate to and deal with every day.
We have seen the mobile home business come such a long way. In the old days most people referred to mobile homes as a trailer house. However some of the manufactured homes we carry are far from “trailer houses.”

The thing is...manufactured homes are now the same price as normal brick homes...not cheap any more..
I love this one, perfect for this grandma who wants a small craft room and a guest room for the grandkids when they visit. ❤
Well thought out. My exact plan. But for me my art studio room.😊
Sounds like maybe a few of us at least are all thinking on the same line!!!
I love this too!!❤
I saw 2 things missing that I would find I need... a coat closet at your point of entry and a utility closet for broom, mop and bucket and vacuum cleaner (minimally!)
Yep.
No linen closet either.
The linen closet is in the master bathroom .... at least I think that is what the closet is to be used for.@@MaryWehmeier
Great when the kids are small to have the bedrooms together, mine had the master with jacuzzi tub at one end a larger than those bedrooms and a 4 piece bathroom at the other. Maybe the spacious kitchen and master took space from the other bedrooms?
Wow, that is gorgeous. I never imagined they could be so nice. Forget a tiny home, this would be the way to go.
🎉👍
I love seeing how much home can be put into the single wide mobile homes! And so luxurious compared to what they looked like in the 1970's! Thanks for what you do, Chance!
Those built in the 70’s sure were better built though. Not these cheap floors and walls they have now.
@@YaYaPaBla The 70s had trash roofs floors that turned to mush the first time the plumbing failed and it always failed. 2x3 exterior walls. Hard Pass
@paulabYaYa I think you're confused about the quality of old trailers. I grew up with trailers living in the country and they are definitely better today in every way.
@@ronnie_j91 I think you are replying to the wrong person.
@@zed4229 the one I was raised in was very well constructed. My dad sold it in the 80’s and another family lived in in for several years. Maybe it depended on who built them.
I REALLY LOVE THIS ONE DANG!!
Is except for the lack of dining space.
Hey Chance! I live within a gnat's eyelash of Meadville. Come on over for supper!!
I'm in Ireland, our houses are bricks and mortar, so I couldn't imagine living in a place like this. I'd be terrified it would blow away. Its my first time seeing inside one of these, its bigger than I'd thought and the kitchen looks nice.
They come in much bigger sizes too. Can even get a 2 story one. The mobile homes are tied down using heavy metal straps connected to anchors driven into the ground. The number and type used depends on the size and type of the mobile home and where you live. Areas that are known for high winds such as tornadoes and hurricanes, require more tie downs and types of tie downs than areas that don't. All mobile homes are required to be tied down according to strict codes set by our federal, state, and local governments here in the USA.
@@gigicostlow4414my childhood mobile home was a older model I think it was in the 1960's. When we moved it the county required a full concrete pad with tied down points in the concrete. Not only was it tied down on the belly of the trailer there was straps that went over the top and anchored to the concrete. To this day I have not seen another trailer tied down that way. Ive never asked my dad why it was done like that. Your comment made me think of how our was. I also wanted to add that yes there are requirements and guidelines set in place for mobile homes. But there are those that counties who dont do inspections so there for many dont do tie downs. In fact the county I live in now dont do inspections for mobile home placements on personal property. Now if they are rental homes that accepts government payments for rent then yes they are inspected. It blows my mind seeing mobile homes on bricks that are stacked taller than I am without being properly tied down.
90K? Not bad :)
(Not crazy about the... crazy, lol, jumbled wallpaper & counter tops in the bathrooms, but the rest of the home is beautiful!)
My grandparents had similar floor plan in the early 70's. My dad's parents had the kitchen at the front with a bar that divided the kitchen and living room area and my mom's parents had a similar plan to this one. Back then trailer houses had character and wasn't a bland box with boxes inside for rooms.
This one is an improvement, but yes the recent homes are plain Janes compared to past times when they were so cute and interesting..not plain at all!!
This home is a home. Not a trailer house. Very pretty ❤🎉❤
This is definitely a unique home. The lack of a dining room could be a dealbreaker for some, but for me, I don’t mind. The kitchen is great, but the rest of the rooms seem very small. I used to live in a mobile home, and the bedrooms were much bigger. And my master bathroom had a deep garden tub AND a separate shower. It was a 16’ x 80’.
This floor plan would make you keep your kitchen clean ,no place to hide any mess.
I loved the kitchen lots of nice windows 👌
I like this floor plan. It is perfect for my land and furniture. I can use my walker too. The price is right.
The bathroom walls and countertop are hideous. The layout is just ok for me. I dont like the bedrooms connected together. Thanks for sharing.
I think that the 3rd bedroom takes away from other living space that could be used more functionally, (example;) bigger Master Suite and/or more space for the laundry, (example;) replacing the desk with a hanging
clothes cabinet with laundered clothes. But Some people may need a 3rd bedroom
I am living in a 1995 which I bought in 1995 for $17,000 Yes! We have put about 15,000 into it over the years and very happy with it paid for with land. If mobile home manufacturers would put 2000 more into cheap things they are calling luxury it would be worth it but not 70 or $80,000 they are asking for these...lol
Amazing single wide thank you for showing us this amazing home
Best regards Anja
Really nice for a single wide. beautiful kitchen, it's really big.
My favorite homes are 3/2 or 4/2; however, I definitely would opt for bigger bedrooms and go with a 2/2 in this home.
Me too😊
Bedroom are way too small.
Very nice
At this point in my life, this is my dream home. I enjoy looking at the double and triple wide mobile homes with all of the extras, but honestly I feel that people choose mobile homes usually because they're an affordable option. I don't want to pay $300,000 or more for a mobile home. $90,000 is a great price for this and I would love to have it.
I feel what your saying. I use to live in a single wide. I prefer a double wide or modular just because I like the Sheetrock walls but I like the price of these single wides. With my income I can’t afford over a 120,000
I imagine the newer ones are better made. The older ones I remember being in had weak floors and the curtains moved in the wind with the doors and windows closed. More like a camper than a house.
@@stevenwagner9912 I've been in a couple show models and they really didn't feel much different than a 'sticks n bricks. The drywall vs panels makes a huge difference.
The bedroom closets should have double rods. I like the layout but I would have to make sure my wheelchair would go down the hallway. What is on the walls, flooring and countertops are the ugliest I've ever seen. Where are you located? Oblivious not in California.
@@terriegordon6360 I don't use a wheelchair, and although I recognize you would view the layout differently I wasn't looking at it from that perspective. I'm not a huge fan of the panel walls and would gladly pay the extra to change to drywall. Also, changing the closet rods is a no-brainer for me. My dad taught me how to use power tools and I've personally remodeled entire rooms in my house from the studs, to plumbing and electrical. I'm also, not from California and looking to buy a trailer to live in the Raleigh, NC area. I'm an East Coast girl, born and raised.
Front End Living Room! 🙂😄😁
I would move the Front Door to the Kitchen! Missing Entertainment Center w DVD Bookcases! 📚 Nice Computer Desk in Hallway! 💻 Tile Shower 🚿 I would add Custom Cabinet Closet 🚾 in Master Bedroom!
Top notch home!!!
I'm from Georgia & lived here 98% of my life & yes we say whala/wala go 😆
I do love this floor plan. ❤❤❤
Look nice and modern...inside...
Nice little home. I like the 2 outlets on the island. I'd turn the first bedroom into a pantry/storage room since it's kinda small space for a bedroom, maybe an office or something.
I agree. I have never, nor will I ever buy any home that does not have a roomy pantry. Utilization of the first small bedroom for a pantry and partial walk in closet for myself, would be the solution. I honestly believe that every woman, maybe even men, just have to have a pantry. A pantry just seems to solve so many problems.
We did that with one bedroom of our three bedroom, because even though we also have a small pantry in the kitchen, it's not enough
Probably the most unique floor plan for a single wide I've ever seen !!
Really really nice !
Very impressive
REALY NICE♥️
Great single wide, beautiful.
I paid 58k for my Clayton 28 by 80 in 2001 but i had to spend a lot to replace all the cheap fixtures and light and sinks but today those things are going for crazy money
Not bad. I love the kitchen
That homework station is neat feature for your children
As a native Alabamian I totally got "wallago" 😂😂😂
Combo kitchen & living room ....wow!!
For a SW, that kitchen is great. You couldn't ask for a better common area.
Thanks for sharing this I am not a trailer person but I can live in this one omg❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍✌️✌️✌️
I like it.
This is the coolest single wide I’ve ever seen!
Wow the flooring is amazing
You're right this is a great and unique floor plan for a single wide. I'd be proud to live in this beautifully designed home !!
Definitely the best design I have seen in a single wide 👌
Glad you like it!
This is absolutely beautiful single wide home that is affordable. Thank you so much for the tour.
I love looking through mobile homes they are so beautiful ❤️ I used to live in one years ago!
Wow love this one great lay out
Glad you like it!
Very spaciouss home for a single wide. I'm loving it
I have a Double Wide and this kitchen is bigger than mine. I'm jealous!
WoW! Amazing luxury interior...
I love this!! Since I spend most of my time in the kitchen, where the living area is, I would make it my dining room, and have a comfortable chair and ottoman incorporated with it. One of the bedrooms I would make into the sitting room, a nice couch etc. this is beautiful
If we could have those in UK, I'd turn the couch to the blank wall and the chairs under the window with a coffee table/ book storage between. Perfect for 2 or family of 3 & baby !!
You should add the dimensions of the bedrooms. If you do, please don't just give the square feet. I would rather hear it like 9x12 or 12x15. It's easier for most people to get a better grasp that way.
Love this layout
Nice. Really nice. I could live happily there.
Love those windows above the sink
This kitchen NEEDS drawers over door's style cabinets and I'd prefer one window over the sink so I could get two more upper cabinets on the other side, they are much needed.
Cute as a button. Will make a beautiful home for the lucky buyer.
Beautiful ❤
OMG!! Thanks for posting this Chance!! I love this floor plan! This has now topped any other singlewide for me. We've been in the market for a single but hadn't ever found one we connected with. This is definitely our favorite and one we'll see if we can get in Nevada!!
It's lovely, I've not seen anything set up like that before. Thank you for sharing.
I could definitely be happy here as a starter.
The refrigerator door should open from the other side for easier access for cooking
You could put it over a basement. Put the heat/AC and water heater in it. Then you would have a couple more closets. You could leave the basement unfinished and finish it as you can afford.
I like the accents; the pattern on the countertops and on the walls in the bathrooms. Nice kitchen. The only problem I have is the hallway is a bit narrow. I would need a little more room to get a bed and other furniture in the rooms. Great price!
LOVE it!!!! Lived in a 3 bedroom kitchen on the end in the mid 90s...trailer was a 1980s rental. Never thought I would see that layout again 🎉🎉🎉
WOW!!! What a great layout. Looks bigger inside than I was expecting.
Wow, love it!!!
Very nice and pretty one
LOVE the built in desk!!!
It's beautiful!
I love this layout
Nice
Definitely like seeing the single wide homes without strips on the walls. Your videos are my favorite. Keep up the good work.
It is different. I would remove the island and use a dining table, make the entrance to the main bedroom closet in the bedroom, and the vanity needs some drawers.. overall pretty nice for a single wide. Oh, and lose the hallway desk.
Like it!
Love all the counter space, like the master bath, I love decorating around the sink. Bed space. Is all
Too small, of course all you do is have a place to sleep otherwise it’s really nice home👍👍👍😊😊
Nice home. I love all the bedrooms in the same area
This is the nicest single wife I shave ever seen!!!❤❤❤
Absolutely love this one!!!
The best and most interesting MH I ever visited had 2 kitchens, and it was an incredible double wide. Off the charts for anyone who wants to bake and produce food products and baked goods as a cottage industry. Much easier to maintain industry standards, with hygiene rules/regs in certain states. If I ever see another like that I won't hesitate.
Chane my name is Kevin I live in Ontario canada I like your videos keep up the awesome job bud
I love the floor plan. I also loved "While-go" and was that a "Puter desk". With much respect you put on an outstanding presentation.
Hi Chance this is a sweet single wide house love the layout 💗 peace and blessings 👸🏾 Murrayville Ga
I love the bedrooms together and the laundry area close to the bedrooms. The desk n kitchen i love.
It’s perfect for me! I truly wish I could afford to buy it!
Everyone needs drawers in bathrooms. It drives me crazy that most bathrooms don't have them.
I saw this home a few months ago and it is absolutely gorgeous!!
This was a very impressive layout. I love it. Very different. Just my kinda style.
wow this is great...the layout makes it feel like a MUCH larger home
I like all the bedrooms together. When will they figure out that homes need a coat closet inside the front door?
WOW soo nice because it's so different !!!! Fun !!! Thank you so much
Love this home. Beautiful kitchen
Beautiful kitchen
Beautiful home it’s beautiful 😊
I love this floor plan.
This is set very different, but do like it, nice to see wood flooring all the way through!
As empty nesters I love this floor plan!! One room for pantry/storage & another for the grandbabies. Thank you Chance for showing unique single wides.
