This small prefab house has a tile shower nicer than some of the triple wides I tour! The manufacturer for this house is Deer Valley Homebuilders. The model for this home is the “Haven” This home has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and has roughly 1,230 total square foot. Let me know what you think about the video! We have seen the mobile home business come such a long way. In the old days most people referred to mobile homes as a trailer house. However some of the manufactured homes we carry are far from “trailer houses.”

Same here. My wife and I are empty nesters and will be retiring in about 5 years and don’t want anything to big but do want at least 2 br. in case the kids or grandkids come by.
Really nice home and love that it's nothing huge. Perfect for a single person or older couple. Was really waiting for that price and was thinking in that $100,000 range. When that $185,000 came up I was really shocked 😳😲.
Not worth the price you can. Buy a house at that price in certain areas especially in Kentucky there are beautiful homes for cheaper than that with more sqft and land

That price does seem kind of high for this size home.
This is the very floor plan by Clayton (The Interception) that I loved, but was discontinued.
I was shocked as well with the price.

Absolutely perfect for single person and a great starter home. I love that it is also available in 2 bedroom with a porch. I love the layout,all the touches from the windows,the flooring,the white cabinets. Only flaw..those metal wire shelves which is easily changeable. Exactly what I would want in my retirement home. Great job Chance. Deer Valley homes are always so beautifully done.

I am a Realtor in New Mexico. We sell many mobile homes second owners, etc. Just like buying a site built house. Our state has a requirement for the paper Data Plate be attached to the interior of the house. It’s usually in a kitchen or bathroom cupboard. It has a drawing of the USA on it. Whatever you do….DO NOT DESTROY OR LOSE THIS PAPER! It’s expensive to track down and replace.
Chance, could you please tell the manufacturer to laminate them and permanently attach it to the wall at the breaker box? I can send you a picture of the paper I’m talking about. Some manufacturers call it a Compliance Certificate.
I love watching the videos to see how much the manufacturing has changed and improved over the decades.
I really like this cute home, and nice to walk in without the kitchen staring at you. I just had a birthday a couple of weeks, and I was on that morning birthday cake diet.

I love this small double wide but I would love it with 2 bedrooms making them larger.

It's a very nice home. My wife and I are close to retirement and we're looking to downsize from our five bedroom farmhouse. The thing I like best is the option of losing the third bedroom and gaining the porch. A drink of whatever, sitting in a comfy chair on the porch sounds really nice.
This is what I am looking for. It's just my husband and I. Perfect size! Would love to see more like this and also 55+ communities that we could settle in.

Chance!!!! Vern said that I HAD to watch tonight’s episode, and that THIS home was THE ONE we have been looking for. Well I gotta tell ya, he was absolutely right! The front kitchen with all that natural light is a must have for me. He was concerned that there wasn’t a bathtub in the master. But it actually didn’t sway me away from this one. That two bedroom version with a hot tub on the back porch will fit the bill! These smaller double wides are what we are most interested in. Would love to see more in this size.

This is perfect for me! The two bedroom would be even more so. I lost my husband of 30+ years in 2020. The dogs and I are looking for a new place. Love this!!! The shower without tub is ideal! I really enjoy all that you do, Chance. Thank you so much!
I love this home. The 3 bedrooms are not too small and one would make a great sewing/quilting room. Would be a great home for our retirement years. Thank you Chance for showing a huge variety of different sized homes for us to look at and dream about owning!
These mobile home prices are highway robbery! I only paid $80,000 for my 2,000 square foot, 2 story house 13 years ago! This should cost $100,000
Nice house. Prices had really gone up super high. Last December I bought a manufactured home, state of the art, 1980 sq ft, 4 bedroom, 2 bathrooms….$185,000, before closing we got it appraised , it came out $245,000
Prices are so wild that if you can do it now, jump on it because tomorrow you might not be able.
I know that today, same money spent, I could only afford half of what I got 7 months ago….
It is crazy out there.

Where I live in IL they are building brand new really nice homes, for 160k.. that are more than twice the size of these, with full basements and two car garages. in the city I live in for 250k you can get a beautiful massive sized house with a four car garage multi level house.

A wonderful layout! Our family of three(now two) has always easily enjoyed 1200-1400sf. Over the years I've much preferred less cause that's less to clean😊. Great house!!
Gorgeous home! As close to perfection for us as it gets. 4.75 stars, only because the closet is a bit small for the two of us, but I'd find a way to make it work! Other two bedrooms would be his WFH office and my office craft combo room. Saving this one for sure. Would love that porch option, but having a room for me would be ideal. 😊

I So love this home because it’s not too Big and not too small! As well as I love how the kitchen is not an open floor plan but separates the living room from it with a nice wide doorway, giving that more homey feeling 😊 And I also love the layout, except I would add a 4th bedroom, opt out of a dishwasher because I’m old school and prefer washing my dishes by hand as well as opt out of having a microwave over the stove due to getting overheating when simply cooking on the stove and would simply prefer to have a beautiful country oven / stove vent and a few little more details! But other than that, I love it and would love one 🥰

Chance you just keep getting funnier and funnier man you are such a pleasure to watch here Love this size home It’s still to big for me now I really need to be able to see every single inch of my home now from every spot in it I’m so concerned about home invasions more so now than ever before and I walked in on a home invasion at the home we lived in when I was 14 but it wasn’t happening then as often as it’s happening now days And I bought an M-16 to protect myself and my family as well this world is crazier than I’ve ever dreamed it could ever be now

This is a great size. We are looking at a smaller country retirement home and a nice porch on the front and a carport on the side and it would be perfect. this has everything we would need and not a triplewide price!

It’s just me and my fur babies and this house would have been perfect when I was looking a year and a half ago. As far as the square footage I could have done was just a two bedroom two bath but it’s awesome. I love how it has the high end trims, and it is a great floorplan.

Thank you for showing smaller homes! I still would like to see something bigger than "tiny" but even smaller than this one. Although we are on the west coast and probably won't buy from your area, I'm sure that there are others in our situation who need even shorter double wide in order to make the sharp hairpin turns to reach our property. We are older and need a 1 or 2 bedroom, 1 bath small but not tiny home. 600 to 800 square feet. We really enjoy your videos! Thank you 😊

Our last rental was a 1,200 sq ft double wide & it had an amazing layout, perfect for 2 adults, 4 big dogs & 2 cats. 2BDRM 2BA, huge LVRM, kitchen w/Tom's of cabinets & pantry w/breakfast nook. Big separate laundry room w/tons of storage, den/formal dining area (we used it as gaming room) all on just under an acre.
Perfect side for one person to start her home great size not too big not too small 👍

This home is lovely and the sort of place I'd be proud to call my own. I love that flooring... but I'd want the shower to be a garden tub, personally... although that shower set up is absolutely gorgeous. I just love to soak my worries away. Still, a gorgeous home, looks solidly built and the perfect sort of space to counter those who still have something against 'trailers'.

This home reminds me of the one my friend Tasha and her family used to live in. But you were right when you said it was cramped. It's like they pushed the walls in here and there. The bedrooms in this one all look like they are about 2/3 if not 1/2 the size of what theirs were. The living room in this one was the dining room in theirs. Where the wall is they had the back of their couch that's where the living room started. ITheir living room was pretty good size if I remember correctly ( it's been since maybe 2013 since they lived there) I DO like both versions of it. I think it would work well for my husband and I now that our children are all grown.

Right now we live in a 3 bedroom, one bath prefab home, built in 1970. It is 40' x 24' so this would be a little bigger.
