    I found I guy in the US who makes a little tool called the hanger helper for cleaning up the hanger face. He mostly uses it for street skate brands that seem to have lower quality assurance than most longboard brands. It's a bit niche but I think it would work great for chops. It looks easy to use and the results are amazing.

      @@skate-horizons No problem! I should make it clear that I haven't tried it myself. I would love to get my hands on one but shipping from the US is in my experience a bit of a hassle

      I had a set of 130 ronins, but I didnt chop them and the axle was damaged quit a lot. So i sold them, but they pumped very well!

    often people use a "cutting oil" when tapping and threading. Prob not necessary but there must be some reason.

      @@brendaadamsom cast rogues yes, but they are a little nore expensive, better get them done right by a pro instead of risk em !

      @@brendaadamsom I just checked, it seems like a cast in axle, so it's a little more complicated, see my Paris chop. But it's basically very similar!
