    I love Honda and Toyota, sold my 2005 Honda Accord EXL - V6 w/Nav fully loaded for a 2012 Toyota Camry Hybrid XLE w/Nav fully loaded. Always been a Camry and Accord fan.

    I have the same exact exterior color 2014 EX-L V6 with grey interior because there weren't any black interior available:( , the car feels better than the previous model , the not new suspension feels better with the electric stearing, the 6speed A/T feels great at 0-80mph , my MPG in the city with a lot of stop signs and stoplights is 17/19mpg but when I get on the highway i get 31mpg @ 80mph , overall I'm happy with my purchase and I really recommend this car

    I have this car and if you replace the halogen fog lights with LED, it adds to the brilliance of the LED headlights and it illuminates far better than the halogen. Overall look is cleaner as well!!!

    My base 2013 Civic LX has one piece fold down seat. You'd think that in this price range the Accord would have a 60/40 seat. Still wouldn't stop me from buying one though.

    I don't like that push button ignition. I would prefer that they make the car with a turn key ignition if I wanted to buy one.

    • @sluzardo5879
      @sluzardo5879 10 лет назад +1

      Agreed..love the car, hate the push button...I can never locate my keys in my briefcase when I get to the front door..Plus with the spare in there I sometimes leave the key in the center console and don't realize it til I get to the front door...Better to have the option to NOT have it. Thought I would get to use to it but after more than a year I still don't like it at all.

      BeverageGuzzler - time has changed since the 1990's and it is time to indulge with new technology like a push-button ignition and a push-button gear-selector. Time has since change, remember that!

    • @edfarnham5590
      @edfarnham5590 9 лет назад

      BeverageGuzzler Push button ignition is preferable to me and much more advanced than key start. You don't have to hold the button, just push once and start. I love the push button; it's much easier, convenient and fun.

    Good review, I appreciated it. Whats is that small slot below the eco button tho?

    • @dangreenwell7503
      @dangreenwell7503 9 лет назад

      I own one that is fully loaded (stumbled onto this video to see 0-100km lol). In my opinion, the eco leaf button does nothing. It's temporary because the second you start to step on the gas, it deactivates.
      Don't get me wrong, this car is the embodiment of sexuality for its price. But make sure you get every option possible. Otherwise it's a 'meh' kind of car. Fully loaded will run you close to 45k (tops).
      Overall, it's a wicked car and it knows how to rip. Best middle-class sedan you can buy.

    If I were to get an Accord I would pay the dealer for the Sport Wheels then the car would look so much better on the Touring.
    I always loved the new Gen Accord but I can't leave my 3G TL, so when the time comes for an upgrade which is in the next few years I will look into the 2015 TLX.

    • @CameronsCarReviews

      Ya that sounds nice!

    • @oldtwinsna8347
      @oldtwinsna8347 10 лет назад

      Would save your money for lightweight aftermarket wheels. The sport wheels are HEAVY. Would turn this into a mid 6 second 0-60 car instead of low 6. Lightweight wheels will easily make you consistent high 5's.

    • @itzmando
      @itzmando 10 лет назад

      oldtwins na But I lean more towards style than 0-60 times. I really like he Sport Wheels and I dislike anything other than OEM. I'm that type of person who like to keep their car stock and use Stock accessories.
      But since the Accord is 3 on my list, where the new Acura MDX is my first and the TLX is my second choice. I would hope to earn enough to buy a TLX in the next couple of years since the looks have similar styling to my 3G TL.

    FYI if you are short this car is not for you , because the way the seats ans head rest are designed , go rent one and drive it and see what i ma talking about..

    • @edfarnham5590
      @edfarnham5590 9 лет назад

      Mikel Hossyin I'm short and I find the interior is fairly comfortable....EXCEPT for that ridiculous and annoying short center arm rest. What a blunder.....! Plus, if I raise the seat height, the top of the steering wheel blocks my vision of the top half of the dashboard. Along with a couple of other poor design choices.

    • @memomaldonado14
      @memomaldonado14 9 лет назад

    • @TheServantOfAllah99
      @TheServantOfAllah99 9 лет назад

      Its just the head rest that pushes your head forward making it uncomfortable .. other than that its good if you have a smaller torso its difficult

    I just bought the 2014 Honda Accord Touring 5 days ago and I realized that it uses gas like hell. I want to know if anyone can tell me, how can I switch to a 4 cylinder by using CVT? And where is the CVT button located? I did not know that Honda Accord Touring can use it a 4 cylinder.

  • @ueye
    @ueye 10 лет назад

    BEWARE! I bought a 2014 sport one 3 months ago. And there is this annoying wind noise coming trough the car (not the wind but the noise) when I drive over 40 miles/hr. I went back to Honda dealership and they let me test drive two other brand new Honda Accord, and the same noise came up. They said "Honda hasn't came up with a fix yet, since 2013". Trust me I am not picky at all, but this noise is really different from simple wind noise, and I have had many other cars before, none had anything close to this. I am so disappointed...

    • @BeverageGuzzler
      @BeverageGuzzler 10 лет назад

      ***** Yeah, but it would be a good idea for their brand if they did, in my opinion. Just think, if Honda decided to keep their Accord model in the future, how cool it would be if they made them with V8 engines as well. For example, a 2055 Honda Accord 2 door hardtop V8 engine rear wheel drive with 310 horsepower. Now that would be cool and it would be a creative initiative and good business model for their brand in my opinion.

      Whats wrong with a 6 speed automatic?

    • @mo3farah
      @mo3farah 10 лет назад

      Nothing is wrong at all. 5 speed transmission lets the air intake shorter which helps with speed and shifting fast. 6 speed transmission makes the car take so much air before it shifts which makes the shifting longer. 6 speed transmission is for fuel economy . ( i just have my own taste )
