I love Honda and Toyota, sold my 2005 Honda Accord EXL - V6 w/Nav fully loaded for a 2012 Toyota Camry Hybrid XLE w/Nav fully loaded. Always been a Camry and Accord fan.
I have the same exact exterior color 2014 EX-L V6 with grey interior because there weren't any black interior available:( , the car feels better than the previous model , the not new suspension feels better with the electric stearing, the 6speed A/T feels great at 0-80mph , my MPG in the city with a lot of stop signs and stoplights is 17/19mpg but when I get on the highway i get 31mpg @ 80mph , overall I'm happy with my purchase and I really recommend this car
Great review, nice detail and you covered everything I wanted to see. Thanks! 1 tip: It's nice to have clean hands/nails if you're pointing at things ;)
I have this car and if you replace the halogen fog lights with LED, it adds to the brilliance of the LED headlights and it illuminates far better than the halogen. Overall look is cleaner as well!!!
My base 2013 Civic LX has one piece fold down seat. You'd think that in this price range the Accord would have a 60/40 seat. Still wouldn't stop me from buying one though.
@Kool Acclaimed I don't know what model you are talking about, but the 2014 touring that I have, equipped with blind spot camera and rear seat heater !
Agreed..love the car, hate the push button...I can never locate my keys in my briefcase when I get to the front door..Plus with the spare in there I sometimes leave the key in the center console and don't realize it til I get to the front door...Better to have the option to NOT have it. Thought I would get to use to it but after more than a year I still don't like it at all.
BeverageGuzzler - time has changed since the 1990's and it is time to indulge with new technology like a push-button ignition and a push-button gear-selector. Time has since change, remember that!
BeverageGuzzler Push button ignition is preferable to me and much more advanced than key start. You don't have to hold the button, just push once and start. I love the push button; it's much easier, convenient and fun.
I have a 2008 Accord sedan but I am wanting to get a pop up camper and I don't believe my car can or should pull it. I think it has a 1000 lb pull...Is it pretty much the same with the 2014 V6?
I own one that is fully loaded (stumbled onto this video to see 0-100km lol). In my opinion, the eco leaf button does nothing. It's temporary because the second you start to step on the gas, it deactivates. Don't get me wrong, this car is the embodiment of sexuality for its price. But make sure you get every option possible. Otherwise it's a 'meh' kind of car. Fully loaded will run you close to 45k (tops). Overall, it's a wicked car and it knows how to rip. Best middle-class sedan you can buy.
If I were to get an Accord I would pay the dealer for the Sport Wheels then the car would look so much better on the Touring. I always loved the new Gen Accord but I can't leave my 3G TL, so when the time comes for an upgrade which is in the next few years I will look into the 2015 TLX.
Would save your money for lightweight aftermarket wheels. The sport wheels are HEAVY. Would turn this into a mid 6 second 0-60 car instead of low 6. Lightweight wheels will easily make you consistent high 5's.
oldtwins na But I lean more towards style than 0-60 times. I really like he Sport Wheels and I dislike anything other than OEM. I'm that type of person who like to keep their car stock and use Stock accessories. But since the Accord is 3 on my list, where the new Acura MDX is my first and the TLX is my second choice. I would hope to earn enough to buy a TLX in the next couple of years since the looks have similar styling to my 3G TL.
the 2014 - 2017 v6 is the last of its kind its a shame honda discontinued the v6 it would be amazing his they futurized this vehicle and engine they sound amazing and are really fast easily faster than most bmw's
You just described the buttons to the left of the steering wheel. I'm talking ab the buttons an inch away from the door handle. I think they control the memory seat functions. Not positive though.
FYI if you are short this car is not for you , because the way the seats ans head rest are designed , go rent one and drive it and see what i ma talking about..
Mikel Hossyin I'm short and I find the interior is fairly comfortable....EXCEPT for that ridiculous and annoying short center arm rest. What a blunder.....! Plus, if I raise the seat height, the top of the steering wheel blocks my vision of the top half of the dashboard. Along with a couple of other poor design choices.
I just bought the 2014 Honda Accord Touring 5 days ago and I realized that it uses gas like hell. I want to know if anyone can tell me, how can I switch to a 4 cylinder by using CVT? And where is the CVT button located? I did not know that Honda Accord Touring can use it a 4 cylinder.
BEWARE! I bought a 2014 sport one 3 months ago. And there is this annoying wind noise coming trough the car (not the wind but the noise) when I drive over 40 miles/hr. I went back to Honda dealership and they let me test drive two other brand new Honda Accord, and the same noise came up. They said "Honda hasn't came up with a fix yet, since 2013". Trust me I am not picky at all, but this noise is really different from simple wind noise, and I have had many other cars before, none had anything close to this. I am so disappointed...
One thing, you said in other videos, that you like how a company went he turbo 4 cylinder instead of the 6 cylinder. In this video, you said the opoosite. I know you are in the selling business though.
from Honda website www.honda.ca/accord_sedan/interior Seats with heat. The Accord features the luxury of available heated rear seats as well as standard heated front seats, so you and your passengers can stay toasty on the coldest of mornings. I won't reply your comments anymore. please update your info about Accord. they are not 1990 cars anymore!
***** Yeah, but it would be a good idea for their brand if they did, in my opinion. Just think, if Honda decided to keep their Accord model in the future, how cool it would be if they made them with V8 engines as well. For example, a 2055 Honda Accord 2 door hardtop V8 engine rear wheel drive with 310 horsepower. Now that would be cool and it would be a creative initiative and good business model for their brand in my opinion.
Nothing is wrong at all. 5 speed transmission lets the air intake shorter which helps with speed and shifting fast. 6 speed transmission makes the car take so much air before it shifts which makes the shifting longer. 6 speed transmission is for fuel economy . ( i just have my own taste )
I love Honda and Toyota, sold my 2005 Honda Accord EXL - V6 w/Nav fully loaded for a 2012 Toyota Camry Hybrid XLE w/Nav fully loaded. Always been a Camry and Accord fan.
This car knows how to fly on sport mode. Your back goes to the seat when you rip it.
Awesome review. I love how detailed and meticulous you are. excessive fancy video effects and chatter. Just straight to the point. Keep it up.

There's nothing like a nice, refined V-6
Great review, nice detail and you covered everything I wanted to see. Thanks!

Very thorough and thoughtful review. I want one!

2023 October and I'm still dreaming of buying this car
At least 10years later you have benefit of reading owners reviews...
Apparently the better models of this generation are 2015 and 2017
Camerons Car Reviews, this car has 6-Speed Automatic Transmission with Sport Mode.
Backup Camera with Guidance Lines appears when in reverse.
Just purchased!! Thx a milly for the Review!!!
@Kool Acclaimed
I don't know what model you are talking about, but the 2014 touring that I have, equipped with blind spot camera and rear seat heater !
Such a beautiful car
Very nice review 💯✅
EPA fuel estimates are wrong too. 25/35 are closer to reality.
My moms battery died on her 2011 honda accord and I told her thats a sign to get a 2014 :p
Sebastian Santana that just means change it. Car batteries are gonna die regardless.
I don't like that push button ignition. I would prefer that they make the car with a turn key ignition if I wanted to buy one.
Agreed..love the car, hate the push button...I can never locate my keys in my briefcase when I get to the front door..Plus with the spare in there I sometimes leave the key in the center console and don't realize it til I get to the front door...Better to have the option to NOT have it. I totally agree
S Luzardo It's not hard. Just keep you keys in your pocket like normal and problem is solved.

wow this cars got all the tech stuff like a Lexus or Acura
Great video, thanks!
My top picks for this mid-sized category:
1. Honda Accord
2. Mazda 6
3. Ford Fusion
4. Nissan Altima
5. Chrysler 200
Nice car! In the video you mentioned you were going to review the 2014 Honda Hybrid. I couldn't find the review. Do you have a link to it?
Still haven't did the review yet.
Thanks. I will check back when you do post the review.
Camerons Car Reviews This car has Rearview Camera with Guidance Lines.
Good review, I appreciated it. Whats is that small slot below the eco button tho?
I own one that is fully loaded (stumbled onto this video to see 0-100km lol). In my opinion, the eco leaf button does nothing. It's temporary because the second you start to step on the gas, it deactivates.

Davinder G Wrong, wrong, wrong & wrong again. And by the way... "Embodiment of sexuality?" Are you kidding me?
Ed Farnham Lol. K. You make a compelling argument. You win!
:)
I wish Honda would've made the fog lights LEDs as well. If I'm going to pay that much money for the Touring don't short-change me!
How much would the mpg rise if the eco button stays on?
i like the review

What he meant to say was “ I recommend the coupe ex-l hfp v6-6 speed” over them all
Can u do a review on a 2014 toyota highlander le plus
Yes I sure will!
Thanks
Does it have remote, so you can start it from inside the house?
Barb Dougherty nope. 2017 and above have that....
2014 Honda Accord Touring VS 2014 Honda accord EX-L V-6
?? WHICH ONE SHOULD I GET?
the 2014 - 2017 v6 is the last of its kind its a shame honda discontinued the v6 it would be amazing his they futurized this vehicle and engine they sound amazing and are really fast easily faster than most bmw's
what controls are the 3 buttons to the right side of the door latch on the inside of the drivers side door?
You just described the buttons to the left of the steering wheel. I'm talking ab the buttons an inch away from the door handle. I think they control the memory seat functions. Not positive though.
i’m getting this car when i’m 16
are you inspired by saabkyle04
What color is the car in this video? Is it the Modern Steel Metallic?
yup!
Thanks.

What do you mean by short? Like 5"8, 5"7, or 5"6?
How short? Like 5'6"?
Its just the head rest that pushes your head forward making it uncomfortable .. other than that its good if you have a smaller torso its difficult
I own it, I'm 5'6" and I have no issue with comfort at all.
Is this a family car? or someone else's vehicle?
A Family car I recommended for them to buy.
Nice!
Cvt ?
The V6 does not come with a CVT. Only 6 speed automatic.

You can only use eco button

thanks for the video
please try to avoid the glare when you making a video , so that s make the video clear
keep up
Glare? There was hardly any of it....
V6 manual only come with the coupe.
you're a really cute guy! and I love your car reviews!

What?
Needs tinted windows 😎
Accord has the rear seat heater .. I have Touring and it has it
No it doesn't. It doesn't come with blind-spot monitor system either.
It does .. Model 2014 I have, is equipped I don't what model you are talking about
cilrvo, no it does not come equipped with rear heated seats.

cilrvo I've got the 2015 Touring and it does NOT have rear seat heaters.
Nice job but lose the "ums". Detracts from the quality of you review..
This car should be rear wheel drive in my opinion. I wonder why they don't make this car with that drivetrain.
***** Yeah, but it would be a good idea for their brand if they did, in my opinion. This Accord looks just like a 2011 Toyota Avalon, just a little shorter. Especially the rear and the design of the wheels.
No it doesn't.
i dont know but it sounds like diesel
This car rides and hits bumps very hard, because of a stiff suspension and hard tires. Bangs too much.
Too bad it's a 6-speed gear. I prefere 5
Whats wrong with a 6 speed automatic?
Nothing is wrong at all. 5 speed transmission lets the air intake shorter which helps with speed and shifting fast. 6 speed transmission makes the car take so much air before it shifts which makes the shifting longer. 6 speed transmission is for fuel economy . ( i just have my own taste )
hhhh I understand.
My mom has that kind of car its sooo fast effortless to go up to 80 mph!! But we crashed and my mom died
😳😩😫😢
Is ur mom ok or is she still died
I think mazda6 much better from honda & toyota
Too much road noise also, sounds like a jet out on the highway, very noisy.
