Every call/ticket you get is an opportunity to learn something new. I was sweating bullets trying to help a client access NetExtender. Your videos are good bro
Love ❤️ your vids. Retiring from law enforcement I now want to get in IT. Currently studying 📚 for A+. Your vids have helped a lot. Please keep them coming. 👍👍👍
Definitely helpful and earned a sub! I always see this on help desk/IT specialist and now I know basic troubleshooting/connecting to a VPN, and also what to ask supervisors on how one connects, software needed.
That's a great question; however, that is not possible because it would mean you are not on VPN... Once you connect to the VPN - you are using companies network regardless to the fact you are on home network. But, this only goes for that specific computer and not other computers on your home network. Below is what happens when you connect to companies VPN. 1. Before you connect to VPN your ip address may be something like this: 192.168.1.100. At this point you only have access to home network. 2. After you connect to VPN your ip address may be something like this: 42.65.11.140. At this point you only have access to companies network. *Why is that?* Because companies VPN software creates a virtual network adapter that you are now using. Imagine having 2 network rj45 ports and now you are plugged in to 2nd (virtual) which represents your VPN connection. Go to network adapter settings on your work PC and you will see this.

i have static ip broadband router at home but i want to use the static ip network out of range,is it possible
not sure what exactly the question is...
What will happen if you connect to the company VPN and both your home network and company network use the same network address and subnet?
That's a great question; however, that is not possible because it would mean you are not on VPN...
