Engagement story time: my girlfriend and I were already looking at rings because we knew we were both ready to get engaged. We wandered into a jewellery store one random shopping trip and she picked out a ring I never would’ve picked for myself and I tried it on and fell in love. It was half price and we just jumped in and got it plus one for her. She wanted to still ask me, but she was finishing uni and didn’t want to be a student when we got engaged. Our 5 year anniversary was about 6 months later and she surprised me with a home made card that read ‘will you marry me?’ I looked up and she was holding the ring. We finally got married 4 years later this June.

We already went to Salem, MA on our dating anniversary every year, and the year he proposed he had told me he wants to get me jewelry for our anniversary... And he needed my ring size. 😹 Anyway, we were walking around Salem and we ended at the Ropes Mansion garden which that house was featured in the CLASSIC movie Hocus Pocus. We went in the back and he proposed to me there. :) Now I have pocus tattooed on my wrist and he has Hocus. 👀

When my partner took us on a trip to propose I literally had no idea it was happening. No fancy hair products only a concealer and lip balm. I immediately burst into tears so thank goodness there was no surprise photographer around 😂 I literally just thought we were having a nice hike in the forest and enjoying little cafes and things in the town nearby.
