There are so many white RUclipsrs I follow who haven’t said a thing and just when I was about to click off this video you mentioned it. I am black and have been supporting your channel for a few years so that is something I am considering for people I now follow. I appreciate that you are already thinking about how you are going to teach dot about diversity because I believe racism is taught either intentionally or unintentionally. I am guessing melasma is hereditary, kind of like stretch marks. I am currently 18 weeks pregnant with baby #4 and melasma is something I have not ever dealt with, but my mom didn't either. I just get freckles a bit easier, but my bb cream has SPF in it and I am careful to keep my skin moderately covered when I am outside working, even when it's hot😌 so that helps! Stretch marks though, I do get those, not terrible, and they fade almost immediately after delivering, but stretch marks is something my mom had aswell.

I had melasma during pregnancy too. Using a moisturizer with vitamin c did help to fade them post baby 😊

Licorice root may not the best choice in pregnancy. However, you are not consuming the licorice root , transdermal use may not effect the baby. I am not the expert.

I bought the repair oil and the clay mask.
For the mask do you put a thin layer or thick layer on?
Depends on my skin if I need a thick layer I’ll do that!

Do you feel like the peach fuzz comes back a lot faster when u shave your face? I use those razors for my eyebrows occasionally but am worried about my peach fuzz growing back thicker !
Normally no! But bc of crazy hormones during pregnancy yes! Peach fuzz is actually common during pregnancy hsha!

I still have my pregnancy mustache mask and my daughter will be a year in a couple of weeks 😫
I had the pregnancy mustache and I was never pregnant! I got it from using birth control pill. So it is totally hormonal. The one thing that helped was getting a laser treatment. Eventually got off the pill and it took a couple years to lighten up on its own. So you'll have to be a little patient. I use plenty of sunscreen, vitamin c serum and hydroquinone. It's completely gone from my upper lip but I still have some on my cheeks. Murad has a serum that contains 2% hydroquinone. But do some research and see if it's right for you. 🙂

As a person of color, I felt like it was. Sure better late than never, but I'm allowed to be annoyed that certain people can just live their lives completely oblivious to the constant struggles of entire communities.
You don't have to experience it personally to notice that it's happening and that it's a no problem. Has she never tried to empathize with a POC? Has she missed every single protest/movement before George Floyd?... Because there have been so many. MLK Day? I mean... come on.
