And where we stay in FL is really flat, but this (Franklin) county, eBikes are not allowed on most beaches. Nice cameo from the turtle. @@KayakhacksFishing I don't disagree. I'm 59 this year (I have to do the math every time to figure it out). I'm still pretty healthy and in good shape. But trying to ride a fat tire bike along 10 miles (each way) thru partially soft sand to get to a really nice fishing spot is not practical for me. Walking that far is out of the question (because of how long it would take). An eBike would be really nice. The spot is in a state park, but it's a county thing. They are allowed on some beaches, but not on others. I mostly don't know which is which, but the spot I'd like to get too the most is out. One county over (Gulf) allows vehicles to travel on most of their beaches. All I've ever heard about eBikes in this county is that they (all classes) fall into the powered vehicles category and the county hasn't bothered to update the ordinances. I've never gotten a good answer to the question.
Nice review, with a good point made concerning the rear turn signal installed location, and being hidden altogether if using saddle bags. No suspension seat post being installed?
I had this out on the beach on Friday. I think it may end up being my go to beach bike. If so, I will move my suspension post from one of the other bikes.

My Tesla Model Y LR has over the air software updates. Maybe some day your bike will have that feature.
The Velotric Discover 2 I review in June has an app that will update the firmware. It is a shame others do not do the same thing

I do not know why ebikes are banned on so many beaches. They make so much sense - especially for my older demographic!
