We were waiting in line after the London show so that my wife could meet Tom (wasn't possibly unfortunately) and Charlie came down the line and greeted all of us, and agreed to shake my hand and sign my programme. An absolute gent.
Great questions, and such eloquent and emotional answers from all three of them. I'm glad they had the opportunity to really express themselves. I may be a Tom Hiddleston fan first and foremost but I absolutely enjoyed listening to Zawe and Charlie too.
Agreed! All of them are fantastic at their craft, eloquent speakers, and have a passion for life and their work. They seem like beautiful people inside and out, and they were a joy to listen to.
The show is amazing, sadly it has been canceled after season 3. But a great team of #SaveDaredevil is going strong and hoping that we will have a great revival of those actors and producers.
Loved every second of this! They look very bonded to each other, in a respectful and playful way. I wish I had seen the play! Zawe is too funny and smart!
I saw Betrayal in NYC a couple Sunday’s ago!!! I absolutely loved and fell in love with it. I also fell more in love with Tom!!! OMG!!! ❤️❤️❤️🔥🔥🔥😍😍😍😘😘😘
Johnathon Hellyer Jones is one of Charlie's best performances, it would have been so easy to make that character shallow and pathetic, but he didn't. You could genuinely feel his love and warmth, his guilt and his vulnerability. He's not just good at 'the bad guy who's nice', he brings such incredible complexity to every character he plays that you just can't help but watch. Even if it's a scene that has no lines or even expression, he still manages to to ooze every ounce of emotion possible in just a single expression. I'd watch him in anything, even a semi-dodgey rom-com because he'd still find a way to make it interesting.
Watching this honestly opened up the play for me. I've read it but listening to their interpretations made it richer and provided it a depth. I wish I could have seen them perform it but unfortunately I live in Australia. For now I guess I'll go back and re-read the play, and hopefully understand it better.
Thanks for the upload! I love hearing what they have to talk about this play and their thoughts about it. I’ve seen a bunch of interviews but it’s always an enriching experience.
I think the squash reference, for me represents the loss of trust and sharing between the two men. Robert lost his friend long before he became aware of his friends deception. It is something they will never have again.
I think what he meant was that they had not had the actual affair yet (as in consummated it, having not started it yet); they had only kissed so far. So he was not saying that kissing isn't cheating, per se, but was saying that kissing someone once does not an affair make....because the distinction being made was that Robert only had 8 words where he didn't know about the affair, and at that point, the affair had not yet actually begun.
Dear Tom, I really think your work which you realized during your career is something that should be as example for all yours collegues. I'm both american and italian and I live in Italy. My 1° desire in life is to meet you once... I was fashinated when I listened you use the term MODUS OPERANDI.. no way.. your knowledge, this knowledge of latin (which Is the mather language of italian), that comes from Cambridge, were you studied and where I've been in visit this summer, is something that makes me feel so interested in you. Hope we can see once...😢
Honestly she talks over them alot it's brutal. I want to hear Tom say what he thinks without being interrupted he's brilliant and his mind is a wonder to me
I once was at a gig in a small crowded venue which Zawe Ashton was at unexpectedly for such a small town and I have to say she gave off the most awful air of arrogance and snidy disdain that I have ever come across...I don't think shes a particularly nice person
It was a terrible move on his part, she was acting as his beard, (Tom's gay), it really backfired. Note in this video that Zawe is sitting much closer to Charlie, even touching him at times and is leaning away from Tom. Body language speaks volumes.
@@juniperlista9306 as you might notice, on the stage the chairs are positioned in couples, because there are tables with cups of water between them. So Tom's chair is closer to the interviewer's chair (cause they share the same table), and the same with Zawe, who shares the table with Charlie.... Come on, don't make up things that don't exist!
Zawe is absolutely beautiful, the way she just sat there is pure class
listen his voice is to be in heaven ... see him is to see a prince . Tom is amazing.
I'm here for Charlie. I wish he did more TV shows and stuff we can have access worldwide.
Same. I hope we don't completely lose him to theatre :(
I’m here for Tom!!! Lol

You should also check out Stardust then--it was done a while back, but its a wonderful movie (from a wonderous book by Neil Gaiman)
1:06:35 Charlie thinking about his answer while concentrating on turning his mug lol why is he so adorable!!!

The turntable question was me. 😀 I just added the “please” because it felt polite, but then I immediately realized it read as emphasis. So fair.
Zawe and Charlie have a lot of chemistry.

Is it me or did Charlie really say that kissing isn't >arguably< cheating?! 👀
