Guys. Cuttlefish live 1-2 years at most. This thing was gonna die next month. Octopus and squid have similar life spans. They are extremely sustainable due to their rapid spawn and growth rate and they are delicious. I’d 100% rather see someone shooting and eating a cuttlefish than the typical demersal fish you’d buy for dinner, what grow very slowly and have lifespans of 80 years. Cuttlefish are no more intelligent than the pigs, cows, sheep and fish you all eat.

They live and repopulate locally unlike squid that are migratory. If you nail all the local cuttleys there will be none left behind there for next time
