I was at this show at the fabulous Greek Theatre (My favorite venue in town) and Billy was the main reason I went, as Billy is another I have cool history with. The concert trail misses him and 2024 would be a great time to return to do a sensibly planned tour. (Odds are against it, but Billy has taken care of himself, so he would be capable, if he chose to take the plunge. Even a Vegas & NYC residency would work.)
Being a child of the 70s and 80s if someone would’ve told me back in 1983 that someday Men At Works Colin Hay, Billy Squire and Ringo Starr would be performing this together onstage in their 60’s I would’ve called them a lunatic! This is very cool. Dream team. Edgar Winter! Met him once. Very nice, humble dude
Man, this guy really knows how to rock. He has great stage presence. Well crafted songs, too. And what a voice. “Everybody Wants You” is still my favorite Squier tune.
Damn Billy still had great pipes on him at this point (2008), a full 27 years after the record was released. Most would have pitched the song down but there he is belting it in the original key too! Amazing, always loved Billy Squier
The boys Are Set to Howl......💋 how cool. Hey Billy, isn’t that one of the Winter’s Brothers. Y’all look great - skills top of game. Thanks Ringo. Another #1 Production I see
Billy is WAY to ROCK for this Ringo Beatle lovin crowd! Kids dig it. parents and grand parents were thinking, "WHO is this loud mouth (covered ears)" Interesting choice by Ringo with Billy
Billy Squier - such a great song writer and all around Musician. Music Business is a tuff beast. it doesn't care who you where , how talented you are, or what you have created in the past and without warning it will kick you to the curb
We didn't know how good we had it, even my lame parents accidentally had good tunes on when the radio was on, nobody knew music would go downhill to the point it's at now, that's like predicting the hindenburg dsaster i reckon
Shockingly no. They're at one of the more famous music venues in Los Angeles. Unfortunately the crowd is mostly made up of old Beatles fans who have long forgotten what it means to rock. They're there for Ringo (who's great), and probably don't even know who Billy Squire is or was.
billy by far is the most talented musician on that stage. how he is not in the rock hall of fame is a joke

I would love it if he would tour. Don’t Say No is one of the best albums of the 80s.
@@mschwes5376 💯💯 Year by year, that void needs to be filled by the Classic Rockers & Poppers that are still with us and /or still touring!
How do we get Billy in the hall of fame.💔
Billy Squier will rock on forever!
That crowd looks half dead. Too bad. Great music. Maybe they need to smoke something like they did when they were young!

Yes!!!
Absolutely , Spectacular. The one and only Billy Squier... SIMPLY SPECTACULAR...

not too shabby a group of backing musicians right there
When Edgar picks up that sax----all bets are off.
The Dream Weaver smiling in the background

this sound and I'm only 29 years old I wanted to cry the way rock is now and then hands down my favorite song ever
Saw Billy open for Foreigner during their Foreigner 4 tour, Billy was riding high on his Dont Say No album. Great show.
Brilliant. Ringo keeping time whatever the song.
Gary Wright looks like he's thinking " I'm having this much fun AND getting paid for it!"

I was the best 6th grader air guitarist who ever lived. (to this song)
vizsladoggie 6th grade me challenges you to a Crossroads style air guitar battle
Billy's songs have a definite Led Zeppelin feel. But this is all Billy Squire! Great tune!
Fuck led zeppelin
Billy sounding real good thirty years later. Too bad for the lame crowd.
+nonsense15 Yeah really ! I would have started moshing on top of those lame-ass sleep-walking people!
They either too young or too old :D
Crowd waiting for the Ringo hits. What a great lineup of musicians!
I was thinking the same thing 🤔
Love Ringo. Love Billy. Love this song. Love GTA V
Wow. Great guitarist and vocalist.
Love the fantastic smile on the late Gary Wright!

that crowd looked so lame sitting in their seats. come on now!
What's with this lame crowd? Only One guy up off his seat, Are u kiddin me? Billy still rocks!
+ziad bassaj Their arthritis was simultaneously kicking in.
Everybody's taking Xanax these days and people are different than they used to be
The answer to your questions is : AGE.
You don't need to be on your feet and acting a fool to enjoy a concert. Sit down, shut up and put away the damned phone, let others enjoy the show.
The 1 guy is the only guy/fan left. The entire crowd was him once. Age is a factor but on spirit I want em all like him
🤘
I would have loved to lived in the 80s when radio station were dominated by rock and roll.
We didn't know how good we had it, even my lame parents accidentally had good tunes on when the radio was on, nobody knew music would go downhill to the point it's at now, that's like predicting the hindenburg dsaster i reckon
It was amazing
I was a teen in the 80's. It kinda sucks knowing how great it was... It's made life after that hard to measure up.
Fanfuckingtastic!
Is being named Billy an aid to aging well. Bill Squire. Billy Idol. Are there others?
THE FLAMBOYANT BILLY SQUIRE....
Billy still has a lot of Milk!!!
That, my friends, is a quiet guitar.
lame crowd omg.
Everything Paul Stanley wishes he was.
just watch the musicians
GTA V !
My farovorite song in LSRC
They must be in bland, boring Nebraska. That crowd is about as energetic as a dead 9 Volt battery LOL
Shockingly no. They're at one of the more famous music venues in Los Angeles. Unfortunately the crowd is mostly made up of old Beatles fans who have long forgotten what it means to rock. They're there for Ringo (who's great), and probably don't even know who Billy Squire is or was.
@@ktbeatty A Nebraska crowd would have blown the sky up. No place for rock fans like the midwest
where did they dig up billy squier?i thought he was retired in the mid eighties.
One femmy video lost a lotta fans. Too bad
Fantastic song. Awful mixing.
Agreed....the guitars (Billy's) need more presence.
❤
