Edgeworth comes back after a whole year to find that Maya has been kidnapped, Phoenix is a MESS and Franziska knows at least 5 synonyms for every word
He also comes back after a whole year to find that Maya is locked in a cave, Phoenix fell off a bridge, and so Edgeworth had to bring her ass all the way from Germany just because he was given no choice but to play Defense

Probably the one thing that got him to think "Well, this is *probably* the same country I left - the Feys are still being suspected of murder.".

She’s probably not used to receiving genuine kindness in general- there’s always a catch when you’re raised to believe you have to be perfect in every way and act accordingly. Unfortunately there was definitely a catch here 😂

I'd guess that he passed some of his perfectionist tendancies onto her through some form of abuse but It's pretty hard to tell where that began or what form it took.
This!! I felt like this really made me think of the Franziska that appears beneath the veneer of perfection, and this little way of showing it was all it took!
I absolutely love how you captured Wrights tendency to be a jerk. The man cant go five minuites without sassing someone and im so glad that someone captures it. :)
To be fair, he knows when to keep his mouth shut. He still says it in his head without hesitation but he doesn't always vocalize it.
@@MizunoKetsuban Ryunosuke has something similar. He is a little nervous and polite, but sometimes his inner thoughts are even more disturbing than the thoughts of Phoenix or Apollo
@@trucygramarye6319 To be fair, TGAAC has Susato and Sholmes hear some of his internal monologue, so it's at least partially likely that he's whispering it. Rather than just thinking it.
This actually happens across the series I think. I'm pretty sure there are times where Maya or Mia respond to something Phoenix definitely thought.

It's honestly really sweet that despite the embarrassment of the gift, she still accepted it and genuinely made an effort to use it.
Okay I love the implication that Franziska using "fool" so much is not just a character quirk, but also because she is from Germany and doesn't know many english words.
From my experience, germans are actually very well versed in the english language

It depends on how much English movies you watch, for ex some people only learn English like Americans learn Spanish which is just passable and some watch English shows or movies and use English social media so they know a lot more

I get that. Most of the channels I watch thankfully go for either the 'high quality joke' or 'the joke is that the video is completely serious' kind of videos, but I know there are a lot of really shallow clickbaity videos all over the place as well

My headcanon was always that since Franziska grew up in Germany, she didn't learn more English than what she deemed absolutely necessary for the purpose of insulting anyone who crosses her.

Maya's internal panic before Phoenix goes ahead with his plan is fantastic
I belive she does have more insults then just *foolish* one, but i like idea that she tries to hide her lack of vocabulary by being all cocky. It's like she watched Samurai Jack in her youth and all she could remember is "FOOOOOOOOOOOOlish samurai!".
I also love that greatest pain of Phoenix is not being whiplashed, but to comprehend her lack of original insults.
Watching that show actually gives her less excuse for using the same line so often, given the Scotsman's flair for creative (and very long) insults.

I think we all need to appreciate more that Phoenix brought her flowers when she was shot, and she made fun of him for it. Great moment for both of them.
Fransika von karma seems like the type of person who is so obsessed with her work. And just socializing, taking up a hobby or jusr plain occasionally grabbing a coffee woth Phoenix and Edgeworth outside of work would work wonders.
Yeah especially being so young. The thing about "prodigies" is that they often have little life experience outside of the thing they've been practicing. Franziska strikes me as an 18-year-old who has yet to define herself as anything other than a prosecutor. It's her whole life. I was no prodigy as a teenager, but when I went to college, I had a very one-minded perspective - success in my goals and talents was all I wanted. I think it's totally possible for someone like Franziska to mellow out and become a better person within a matter of years if they have the right influences and self-reflection.
What better character for an April Fools video, than the woman who says “Fool” more than anybody else ever?

I have been so addicted to the Ace Attorney games that I’m just speedrunning through all the games, and I’m nearly done with T&T. I love puzzle games as well, I like games in general where I have to think. And being able to watch these fan animations knowing it’ll be spoiler free is just the cherry on top haha.
