Well no the sword logic meant that eris got a large power boost from killing savathun. She chose to use that power to permaban xivu from her throne and then she gave up the power. She could've chosen to use the power for other things, or to keep it.
Xivu was banished from her Throne World. Not Savathun. Savathun was revived off screen was free to go. Saint 14 then killed her repeatedly inside of his bubble.
This is from Season Of The Witch and not The Witch Queen. So, if there are new players jumping into Destiny 2, this cutscene and Season is no ,longer available.
My first 100K and I want to say - Thank you Everybody! Season Of The Witch had some good stuff but was short and limited - Oh, the potential it had for an expansion. Still, it was special enough and a nice complement to The Witch Queen.
Plus as savathun is in that weird gray area. Having two hive factions that are strictly good (for hive that is) it would be a good thing for all of us.

make them not regular human voices. They're not human. They dont have human vocal cords. Savathuun sounds like your average random witch from a TV show. Too bright. @@ConTheDon187 I get what you're saying; even Caiatl's voice seems not fitting. But sometimes having an altered voice runs the risk of being inaccessible to some ears. In the English-speaking world all across the world some words are spelled the same but pronounced with different accents. That's probably why voices in games seemed enunciated.

In a round about way, yes. The reason Eris could banish Xivu is because when she killed Savathûn, she stole her power.

Eris was the literal Deus Ex Machina in the Destiny lore at that moment to help bungie get out of the hole they wrote themselves into.
I'm not exactly a Hive player, but yeah, I love Eris, everybody loves Eris. Even hearing Savathun's name I nod with agreement.
