I really enjoyed your video. I hope you get the diagnosis that will help you feel better. My daughter was diagnosed with ADHD last year at the age of 26. She has always found sleeping difficult, even as a baby. The medication she is on now has made a huge difference in her life to how she copes with work and everyday activities.
I just got to your wip parades and nothing could make me happier than seeing how long they are! Three hours well spend!!! Love it! And I need this tiny unicorn 🦄
Sadly, no mid-year wip parade this year since I haven't kept up with my videos, but I'm really looking forward to the end of year one! And definitely need the tiny unicorn in our lives 🤣🦄🦄💙
Awww thank you! I can't seem to throw pieces out unless it's really tragic (like Malaganos 😂) or if the counting mistakes are so bad I can't fix them. It may cone out again someday 😉🦄💙
I am so ready for this video!!!!! commenting as i go. these plagues this winter are LEGIT!!!! glad you're feeling better! Gnomies is looking amazing. thank u thank u
Your glasses actually were quite cute. Watched the whole video in one afternoon, i think I got a solid 500 stitches done. It was so great to see you again. Thank you for the good stitchy viewing, so many WIPs. Hopefully 2023 will be a better year for you in all ways. Take care.
Love all your finishes and your progress on your wips. Hang in there. I also have depressions and some days are better than other days. Just keep going and hopefully they can help you with ADHD. Take care and happy stitching!
Thank you for showing us all your WIPS! They were fun to look at and such a variety. I know it’s not easy making floss tube videos and so thank you, you got me through some crazy stitching! So glad you are feeling better. I was sick around the beginning of December and went to the doctor and told him to test me for everything and I had influenza A and Covid at the same time! 😱
New subscriber here. I just loved every single moment of your video. You were recommended to me by the dizzy stitcher. I love Darren and he has spoken highly of you on several occasions. Hi, Sally! Thanks so much for coming over to watch! I count Darren among my friends for sure! Progress on lots of WIPs may be a little slower this year, but it's all one x at a time 😁💙
Ok, so I did have to break it up, but I watched all of it. lol, and maybe once I feel asleep because it was really past my bed time and had to finish watching it again later. And maybe I had to go back to where I rememberd, and giggled when I realized how quickly I had drifted off. Who's to know?...What were we talking about again? LOL!! Ailarra!!! I missed you! I'm sorry you were sick through December. Kids are great at sharing crud. Your parade was amazing. I loved it. So, I dodn't always like WIP parades, but this one I really liked, and I liked it because you've shared something about each project, and why you like that, or who you are making it for, or why it is significant. I know that's weird, but it made me feel closer to knowing you. Yes, totally get tested. Everything sounds right, and I'd love to see how you feel a year from now after you've gotten some help in the right direction. Hang in there, and know that people need you in their lives. I think about you often. I'll tell you more often. So if you get random I'm thinking of you messages, I'm just reminding you I like that you are someway some part of my life, and I care about you.
So nice to see you today! You look great in your glasses 💜 I made it to the end and I am sorry to hear you have been struggling. I got diagnosed with adult ADHD very late. The meds I went on were very helpful at first, but not so much now. I think I am due for a change in meds and I am sure my concentration/procrastination/energy will be back to where it should be again. Follow through on the diagnosis,- you will be thankful.
Thank you, Geri! I'm really excited to start this particular journey, so I've already followed up with the specialist and will be calling again next week (they're on a manual waitlist because they're so booked their schedule doesn't go out far enough to get all the new patients in the computer). I hope you're able to fond some new meds that help! I've had a few people tell me it can be a process to find the right ones to even start. 💙
Oh no, satin floss is so difficult for me, I totally hated the experience. It was slippery and just fall out from my needle all the time. You are my hero for doing such a big piece in satin. Do you use some floss wax for them?
That was my exact complaint with it, too! And that it didn't want to lay very nice, like the strands didn't want to touch each other and one Strand wouldn't go in all the way. Yes! Now I use floss wax, and it has made all the difference! The Floss stays in the needle and lays so much more nicely!! If you can get ahold of some, and still have your satin floss projects, definitely give it another go with it! 🦄💙
@@Ailarra918 I don't have any ongoing projects with satin but i still have a whole lode of floss itself. i thought it looks nice and got myself a bunch of colors to do samplers with it. i should get wax since it's such a game changer. thank you
Whew! Made it, although had to do it in two chunks - was watching last night and stitching and suddenly realised it had gone past midnight! Did the last hour tonight. Be interesting to hear what the specialist says, and boy I can not wait to see some of your new charts in progress, but especially the Celtic ladies with the colour conversions! - take care, Nic x
Thank you for an amazing episode - in so many ways....all your beautiful projects and sharing your life and health issues. It sounds as if the possibility/probability of a diagnosis is actually helping a little already - I do hope so. Love listening to you. Lesley

Yay for a 3 hour video! Great company so far. Watching it in smaller pieces. I also bought face of a mermaid when I saw you showing it. Not really a mermaid fan, but I love mythical crratures. And those colors! 💙💚😍 Cant wait to see your progress through 2023!
Small pieces are good - I have to do that myself lol. She's a great alternative to traditional Mermaid designs. Hope you have just as much as I am having stitching her! 💙
Yep that was a long one and my cat and dog are glaring 👿at me to be fed dinner lol. Goodness you got a lotta wips😀 Glad your & fam are feeling better as I too endured the same all through December into 2023 and it's been hard to get motivated again mentally and physically, Cheers to your new year goals.(clink clink) 😀
So sorry to hear you were sick too! It's been such a rough season for illnesses this winter 😔. And yeah, the motivation factor has been huuuuge; I'm still struggling with energy most days. Hope it does nothing but improve from here on out! 🥂
I'm just going to edit this comment (or reply to it a million times) as I come to things I wish to say!! Because I already forgot one thing and we're only 19 minutes in. 😕 Girl, if your instinct is to bin something -- do it! Restart those babies even though there's 17k stitches in. In terms of total stitch count for those projects, it's just a little bit of it. You'll be less stressed and more happy with restarts. I love how you start the things when you want to start the things. Getting that full enjoyment of the process of stitching and stitching on the things that is feeding your soul--I love it! There are days I wish I could channel my inner Ailarra and just have all the things started. I live vicariously through you! The 310 outline on sabbat looks so so so so so cool! How super fun that you touched all your pieces in 2022 without that even being something that you tried to do.
I think I am going to restart Malaganos. Now that I've had so much more experience with stitching, I know I'll be happier with that. I think the other piece is staying as is and will become a focus piece again next year. It'll be interesting to see if I can manage at least one day for all my projects again this year, but I'm kind of doubting that will happen lol.
Lovely pieces! I need work on my Dark Queen of the Sea....yours is coming along so beautifully. But I have been concentrating on the Dark Queen of the Earth. I am also in the Cross Stitch Studio mystery SAL. I don't think I will get it done this year but I am enjoying the process! Good Luck on getting your diagnosis. It really helps to just know what you have, so you can manage your symptoms. I have narcolepsy along with really bad allergies. Getting that diagnosis explained some of my behaviors and gave me both ways to deal with it and language to explain it to other people. Sending you good vibes and hugs.
I'm still waiting on the bead/thread pack to start DQotE, but I have plenty of stuff to do until it shows up lol. We'll see how long I can keep focused on the confetti for the TCSS SAL 🥴🤣. Oh wow narcolepsy! Glad you've been able to get that diagnosed; it's a tough one to understand from what little I know of it. I’m so proud of you for taking steps to get a diagnosis and moving forward from there! I’m confident this will help you feel better and understand yourself better, your weaknesses but also definitely your strengths!! I love all ur mythical pieces! They are gonna be so beautiful. Im sad i cant get my hands on Canopy Heart tho. It isnt being sold anywhere and it retired from HAED before i even started cross stitching 😭😭
Now that I'm working on other count fabric i see why 25 ct just doesn't cover like the others do. Follow your heart because you are going to spend hours on the pieces if you love the fabric.
I have a couple other pieces on 25 count that I love, so it really probably depends on the fabric itself and the piece that's being stitched on it. 😏🦄💙
Hi Ailarra! Oh man, so sorry you have been sick through December. I can relate as mine has been since Thanksgiving. Started out as a Mycoplasma infection in the larynx and pharynx, didn't get better with the first course of antibiotics, went back to the doc for a second course of antibiotics due to bronchitis (just chest tightness and did not feel like my typical bronchitis), and still not feeling well (a bit better but not fully) so have to message the doctor to see what is next. I lucked out with no complications from 2 courses of antibiotics so really don't want to push a third course if possible but am sick and tired of not feeling well and missing days of stitching because I spend the day in bed. Great WIP parade and haul. I hope you get into the appointment sooner rather than later. Don't feel alone as far as the Christmas tree is concerned. We still have ours up too because I have not felt well enough to take everything down, pack it away, and then haul all the bins out to the attached storage since it flared my back for 3 days when I brought it all in. With having Walter 2 overnights a week, my back can barely handle anything else since my SI joints are really flaring along with the fibro and psoriatic arthritis. I am going to get a referral to a rheumatologist soon so hopefully I can get my pain under better control. I have missed your videos but glad I can follow you on IG at least when you post. Hope you continue to feel better and don't have any further illnesses. Take care and happy stitching.
Sounds like you have been on a roller coaster of health lately! I hope you were able to get a treatment that worked. I say leave the tree up all year and call it a seasonal tree. Mine's still up 🤣
I am completely caught up with all your videos!!! I was laughing at you yelling at your cat. That’s me with my dogs. Lol Beautiful projects!!!! Loved seeing them all! My husband has ADHD. It’s gotten worse as he’s gotten older. Your story really reminded me of him. If you see him he is not hyper active at all. His brain his what is hyperactive. I feel horrible for him.
That cat drives me bonkers 🤣🤣🤣. Thanks so much for all the time you spent with me cause I know it's A LOT 🙈. I really feel whatever is going on with my brain has gotten worse for sure over the last 4 years. I just hope there's something that can be done. I'm so sorry your husband is going through it, too 😔💙
So excited to see this pop up just now! Just clicked to watch although I may have to do it over a few sessions as it’s a 3 hour video, a new record for you 🏆😅 I know it’ll be worth it though. Here I go 😊💜 0:49
I thought about breaking it up into a couple videos, but then decided I only wanted to edit once 😅. Please take lots of breaks, cause it is ridiculously long 🤣🤣🤣
Wow don’t think your going to bear the time length of this video 😂. Awesome wip parade really enjoyed it. Fingers crossed the specialist finds some answers for you 💙💙🐅
My mid-year WIP parade is gonna be like 5 minutes this year 🤣🤣🤣. It's probably gonna be 5 months before I get in, but I'm really looking foward to it! 🦄💙
Hello my name is Maryanne and I from South Jersey I enjoyed your with parade I am a first-time viewer I am a quilter I'm very new at cross stitch I have a quick question for Christmas dementia cross stitch pattern the Adidas is black how do I stitch on black do you recommend a disappearing marker or a small lamp my daughter and I shop a lot at hobby lobby and Joanne's thank you for your advice of how to cross-stitch on black have a nice day your pattern on potion bottles was very interesting I enjoyed it thank you
Hi Maryanne! Thanks so much for watching - whata crazy pong video for your first one of mine 😅. For black fabric, if you want a grid to help follow the pattern, I would recommend gridding with a sulky metallic or holoshimmer (I found mine on Amazon), or any thread that can't be split further by a needle. For general stitching, nice bright light for sure! You can also try a white towel on your lap, or if you have a light pad (like diamond painters use) even better as it'll light up underneath the fabric to show you the holes more. Hope this helps! Happy stitching! 🦄💙
Added to the description! I really ought to take notes on the things I talk about while I'm editing for the description box 🙈🤣 facebook.com/groups/154239135258058/?ref=share&mibextid=NSMWBT
If you are up to theidea of winning you will I am sure. When I see all this empty area I see so many challenges and stitching games🤣 you might join a team in stitching adventure rather than scouting, any team would be happy to have you🥰😍
I think I've stuck with scouting because I can post just twice - once when I start for the day and once when I stop lol. I think if I wasn't in so many other games, I would probably consider it 🫣😅
I really enjoyed your video. I hope you get the diagnosis that will help you feel better. My daughter was diagnosed with ADHD last year at the age of 26.
Mine's still up 🤣
Enjoyed your video, I hope you make good progress this year and things improve re mental health, diagnosis etc etc ❤
Thank you, Sharon! 💙
I am completely caught up with all your videos!!! I was laughing at you yelling at your cat. That’s me with my dogs. Lol
Beautiful projects!!!!
I'm so sorry your husband is going through it, too 😔💙
Finally catching up. 🌻🌻🌻
Oh My goodness, that was a whole lotta time commitment 🙈. I feel like I can't ever get caught up with anyone's videos cause I squirrel too much 🙄
So excited to see this pop up just now!
Please take lots of breaks, cause it is ridiculously long 🤣🤣🤣
@@Ailarra918 don’t stress about breaking it up, it’s easy enough for us to press pause or even stop and come back to it later ☺️
Loved this epic Wip parade Ailarra! Sorry it took me so long to watch it! Hope you’re doing well ❤❤❤
Thank you, Alicia! Sorry it's taken me so long to reply! 🤣🥰💙
Could you share with me the name of the fb group that has the Celtic conversions?
Added to the description! I really ought to take notes on the things I talk about while I'm editing for the description box 🙈🤣

I think if I wasn't in so many other games, I would probably consider it 🫣😅
Love your projects, but, a mermaid with antlers?!
🤣😂🤣 A lot of people felt that way about them and left them out, but she's not a Mermaid, so it does help 😉
@@Ailarra918 love it either way🥰
Got through whole video glad you are feeling better mow
