They are glueing battery pack so now It is much harder to fix them, and while I understand thermal benefits for plaid I do not understand why model 3 and Y are glued.
On top of that they removed lidars to save a thousand or something but the autopilot isn't ready and without lidar backup they killed few motorcyclists because autopilot made mistake.
They are over promising and under delivering on every single step and Musk's humour creates some "funny issues" they waste time on, like making a boat out of cybertruck because he wants to prove something that isn't useful for anyone and probably isn't feasible at all.

    3 words: Right to repair
Otherwise, broken wires are very commonly intermittent, and frankly with all the mods it is by far the most likely issue. Wire bundles get disturbed or moved during these type of mods and can easily end up in a situation where they chafe on a sharp edge or something like that or just get pulled on too much during the mods. It's a lot of troubleshooting with a multimeter, but it will likely be the only solution that eventually works. I really hope that it does end being that module, but experience tells me probably not. Fingers crossed.

The SW does thousands of diag checks and is madly complex. kudos to those guys who are having a go on your car and trying to fix it it is a really interesting system. One tip - just try and see if you can emulate the removed connections(at least to passive stuff like sensors and such) so the SW doesn't generate so many errors. Sometimes so many errorrs on the bus cause the units to create big comm. Overhead which may start affecting comm. To healthy units.

Just like driving normal cars. Millions of people driving a gutless 15 year old car has not ruined racing.
The community just needs to figure out how to do racing with EV's where it's not just a tack on thing.

The difference of people driving 15 year old gutless cars is. You can literally make something out of them so they are no longer gutless..
