Hey Ramsey this comment is not related to this video but i stumbled upon your discussion and comparison video between Cuir de russie and Great Britain. I was just dumbstruck by the sheer knowledge you shared, especially regarding the leather tanning procedure, the scent profile etc. This kind of passion which you have for perfumes is just absolutely mind-blowing. I tip my hat to you man. Keep doing what you do, lots of love from India. Yourself and AC smellsgood are my two absolute favourites. Your subscriber count may not reflect the effort and time you put, I genuinely hope you get more recognition. Keep up the good work brother.
Love that you review all kinds of houses, even the lesser known ones like this one. Btw, price is not subjective, I think you meant value is subjective. Price is the most objective comparison. At over $8 a mil, you can easily make the case that this stands, for example, above Roja and below ALD. Not comparing the juice, just the price point. Cheers and keep rocking.
This kind of fragrance description reminds me a bit of Toskovat fragrances, particularly Inexplicable Evil. If you have a chance try some. Definitely not your ordinary scents. On other hand strange notes and inspiration reminds me of Moth And Rabbit, and Folie a plusieurs…
@@rogra2087 I now own a mix of those I loved and hated at the first try. Duke of Burgundy, The Lobster, Blow Up, La Haine, and Daisies (which remind me of childhood so I just wanted to have this nice, innocent teleport for my mind).
@@RamseytheRam Inexplicable Evil is inspired by war and it was the first fragrance ever to make me cry. In my mind that’s one of the greatest accomplishments.
☆Hi Ram, cool house cover, totally agree w/ @parfumuse and pretty much luv your take on just about anything really... I know some topics would probably not compel the slightest interest, like scents that are kinda gimmicky like some that have a 'cocaine-esque' note, Frank Boclet(?)... It is fun though, especially if wearable ex. Costume National... Room1015's Sweet Leaf does smell like the sticky-icky, and's too much...But i do enjoy Micallef's Desir Toxic...a freshy with a verdent-emphasis on the ganje. Cool vid! Much luv an respect to ya and the whole Ram Fam❤🐏🐏🐏🐏🐏☆
Cheers Rams, nice review sir, I do recall Brandon stunning us with a bundle purchase from SJA some years back , and she was the Perfumer back then. It was a middle Eastern house , very pricey his main purchase was 1300 bucks goddam back then I was gobsmacked 😶 lol . I kinda got the impression he wasn’t completely happy with them ( I kinda felt it ) but he did wax on about the house , musta cost him a lot for the bundle for sure , anyways check out that vid if ya haven’t seen it , I wanna say I think it was his last purchase?? And shortly after he quit RUclips?? Sadly . Have a good one buddy 🤛💪🙏
Sounds like an interesting house : last night seen that fort and mantle have a new one 300 bottles it’s called Hatiram not sure how long it’s been out for but the notes listing is fire 🔥 🔥
The dollar note reminds me of Toskovat. Im sure one of their scents has priest's clothes listed as a note. Weird stuff. I always thought Alessandro Gualtieri's odd, sweaty synthetic musks and his meat and two veg shaped bottles were as strange as it got, but maybe not!
Now we need an update on the haircut 😂 Tried a New Look by Dior today. Not bad at all. If you can hit up Mr Smelly to get your nose on his new Arezzo. Really nice one, has Aramis JHL mood with incensy soapy undertones.
This perfume captures the scent of dampness, both wet and dry wood at the same time, a papery aroma-wet paper, the smell of an old abandoned wardrobe filled with aged items. There’s no dominance of “green plant” notes here, and the fresh-printed dollar or worn dollar impression is actually an illusion that evokes solely and exclusively a papery note (I’d rather describe it as some sort of ancient papyrus). If you’re looking for an authentic dollar or coin scent, then *Lubin Upper Ten* would be the choice. However, this fragrance presents the money note in a different “papery” sense. The freshness comes from vintage jasmine. The rest is so overdosed (I’m referring to the four types of oud) that this perfume is literally unwearable. That said, it’s neither a skanky oud nor a barnyard oud. Instead, it exudes dampness, wetness, humidity, neglect, and nostalgia. I’d say this is more of a conceptual fragrance than one that would appeal to the average individual. It doesn’t head in the same direction as Tauer with its heavy compositions-this is even more potent and different from anything on the market. I’d even describe it as a sandy fragrance (in my somewhat crazy interpretation). Unusual, unique, and not very wearable. Conceptual and demanding. Certainly unique but very hard to grasp. For a debut on the scene with something like this, the brand has truly decided to take a risk. *Monochrome* is slightly more appealing, easier to wear, yet it also carries a nostalgic echo. The design, presentation, and concept of both perfumes are truly top-notch.

I appreciate that but it drives me crazy having it in my eyes 👀

I have upper ten and I don't think that smells like a dollar at all 🤷🏻♂️
Just my opinion though
Jerome Powell in the house brrrrrrrr……..
🤣🤣🤣

A fragrance that smells of $$$ couldn't be cheap without loosing its appeal, could it... 💸
Thats a great point... didn't even think about that 😂
