Hey brother! Was watching this episode in lunch break, so wanted drop in and thank you for the awesome episode. I might have something to add on the bottle designs but I need a break from work to gather my thoughts..maybe weekend :) I was really looking forward to the Serge Mansau/2nd episode of the sculptor series. And what a fantastic intro and background of the artist! As you mentioned, the bottle design is an important part of the overall interpretation of the fragrance. From the fragcomm, this series is such a salute and acknowledgement to the incredible talents of the sculptors/artists who work in the shadows to develop something to hold from the concept of the fragrance. Remember how Frederick Malle totally changed the game by putting the names of the perfumers on the bottle? Now the community can follow and learn about the noses, their styles and progression. Well, wouldn't it be AMAZING if fragrance houses did the same thing with the bottle designers? Like, imagine picking up a new perfume and seeing both the nose AND the sculptor's names right there on the bottle!
Nicely done Rams, now this is exactly why I consider myself a bit of a bottle tart lol 😝. If Perfume is classed as art in a bottle, well damn it put it in a a work of art , job done ✅. Have a terrific weekend buddy 🤛💪🙏
Been waiting for this one- loved your Pierre Dinand and this one is equally great. Can’t even imagine some of these so called influencers ever creating a video like this and that’s one of the things that make you great Ram. Thank you for this- love this kind of content! 🙏❤️🐏 also looking forward to when you review the declarations- what a fragrance! 🔥
A pull-and-spin cap certainly is a unique design. That Pi bottle is steeped in symbolism though. I won't give it all away, but there's a reason it's a tetrahedron missing the capstone and the ad was a spaceman. 😉 My thumbnail logo is 3 nested tetrahedrons after all. And the underside of a.....well it'll be out soon I suppose. 🛸😂 Shout out to Serge wherever he is. 🖖
Good job.👍🏻 Really missing the phenomenal bottle for Kenzo Flower, where the sprayer tube follows the curve of the transparent glass bottle and is in effect the curved stem of the flower. Achingly genius. His first edition bottle for Marc De la Moriandiere’s Bleu de Chine (1987, Pierre Bourdon) is one of my faves (and a nice woody floral chypre that, since you like Scherrer 2, you might also like). But your Mansau bottles of, especially, Pi, Idole, Infini, Fidji, Balahè, and EdRochas Homme are 10/10. 🙌🏻
Great vid. I collect Dali frags bottles.( and a lot of others). So beautiful and artistic. Of course the Dali Homme is my favo. A Thierry Wasser masterpiece. Lalique is also worthwhile to dive into. Greets from The Netherlands.
May I kindly also suggest an AI platform to assist you in your research endeavors my man-ex Microsoft Copilot or Google Gemini? It still will need to be verified, but give you a great place to start. Thanks for this video mate, I love bottles as art 🤘🏻💃🏻

Thats it!
Love Scherrer 2. It reminds me of the OG Chanel Coco. I have 2 back-up bottles of it. Outstanding video Ramsey! Your mind is like an encyclopedia.
Thanks so much for watching & for the kind words 💪🐏
