"The Tragic Story of Masada" refers to one of Jewish history's most powerful and dramatic events. Masada, a desert fortress located on a plateau overlooking the Dead Sea, was the site of a desperate and tragic last stand by Jewish rebels against Roman forces around 73-74 CE during the First Jewish-Roman War. The story of Masada is one of bravery, resistance, and sacrifice, but also of immense tragedy.
