When I first learned the solo leveling will get animated despite not reading the manwha, Im respecting it to the point that I won't be reading the manwha despite it's done. However, seeing the first episode in anime, the temptation is so powerful that I decided to still wait for the upcoming episodes and read the manwha at that point onwards as I can't wait for the second season 😂. Story is great, animation is great, illustration is great!
I'm glad I read the manhwa and slowly forgetting what happened I'm planning on binge watching it cuz the first few episodes I believe were pretty slow but casually kept on getting hype every time this is like metal alchemist each episode is building up for the next and getting more exciting

So, I saw some RUclipsrs review the first 2 episodes cause they were invited to a premiere, and they said episode two ends in a cliffhanger with jinwoo’s death. When you counted the chapters adapted, you forgot that about half of the episode was original material. From the end of episode 1 to the jinwoo death I counted about 7 chapters. So I think they are adapting 7 chapters per episode give or take.🤞🏼
Mastar, bruh. OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What have you introduced me too. This is by far one of the best manwah I have ever come across. Its non-stop action without going overboard. You can easily get invested in any of the characters. The progression of the main character after his "incident"(don't want to spoil it for those who haven't read it yet) is other worldly. Like I am at chapter 90 now and it keeps getting better. Like what is life!!!!! Lol, the episodes cant come fast enough. This will definitly be my fill until Thousand year Blood War returns in March.
Thanks for clarifying how the rank system worked- I probably missed it in the first episode if it was said- I did think it was weird after 5 years he was still at E rank. Kinda sucks honestly since you cant improve your rank. So starts at E rank & rises too SS rank eventually for the main guy?

The main hook of the book in the first place was it's amazing art, which made people long for it to be animated with high budget. And then, the episode was released.
We are definitely in for a heck of a wild ride. I'm happy I read it and look forward to Solo Leveling to being fully animated and enjoying the journey again now on the screen. Happy you're covering this Mastar!
so the first episode only got to chapter 4 because they added extra content from the light novel. If they just continue with the main storyline they can do 5-6 chapters an episode, and episode 2 will end after he gets the system. 24 episodes 5 chapters each is 120 chapters, and the S1 in the light novel is 110 chapters, so we will be able to see the jeju island raid if im right.
Its only 12 episodes for the 1st cour tho, so its not gonna be 24 episodes straight away, im guessing it'll end with him summoning Igris, but i do believe the 2nd cour is coming probably 6 months away just like Mashle did
Its too early for me to give it credit im personally looking forward to how the animation will go when sung jin woo says the most famous words arise ima be very critical on this as anyone that read the manwha knows the illustrator made a massive empahsis during this transition espeacially later on when the more higher tier shadow summons are commanded to arise also im looking forward to the international hunter arc
I can't just watch one episode at a time with anticipation for the next one. I normally get caught up in other things and then I lose track of the next episode coming out. I'd rather just wait until the entire season is out
