I like my 16x48 with a 27 hp. Go-devil Long Tail we don`t have the Mud like you guys do but I go through a lot of Vegetation and Cattails. I did buy me another Boat setup with a 23 hp. Copper Head Surface Drive at the end of the season motor messed up so haven`t got to try it yet. Enjoyed it

We have loved our 1648 for several seasons now Chuck and for our style of hinting, it has been great. Hunts 3 people comfortable and in the timber, it's perfect size for getting through the trees.

That's been the case with us here in Louisiana too Jeremy and we don't nearly get the temps you guys get in Nebraska. A little maintenance goes a long way

How do u get your leg to flip around into your boat and what size prop are you using ?

Did that let the tail get over the back gunnels in the transom? I lack about 2-3 inches from spinning mine back in the boat.
