Great video guys! Me and my buddy ended up with 6 Saturday morning in Sherburne as well, and I can confirm the mosquitoes were really bad lol. Gonna try to make it back out there this weekend and hopefully get a few more

In my opinion, buy the Sitka, Chene, or Divebomb waders sooner rather than later. They are worth it when you consider the comfort, features and they hold up better. Went from canvas Redhead fishing waders when I was 14-15. when inCabela’s neoprenes and they lasted 4 years. And then ran Frogg Toggs grand refuge, lasted 3-4 years , second pair of the same lasted 2 years leaking the second half of the second year. But the zip in insulation in the Frogg Toggs was awesome! I also ran some USIA custom made and fit waders (no longer in biz) for a couple of years, they leaked a sent them back got them fixed and ran them a few more hunts before they leaked again. Finally I bought Sika waders before last season and they’re great! The boots being lighter and WAY more comfortable was well worth it, along with the strap system that doesn’t get in the way of your gun and doesn’t have buckles that loosen up. I also hunt teal season, early goose, and late October to mid January for ducks in multiple states. So i like to think I hunt more than the average weekend warrior. Mostly hunting from a boat, but have spent many days standing waist deep water on walk in hunts.

Just picked up a pair of insulated breathable Drake waders and they are awesome. I like them a lot better than neoprene waders which I am allergic to.

About time they put the trim where it needs to be.

Also depends how many days you hunt each season. I personally hunt about 20 days of the season so I’m not investing a lot of money into a pair of waders. However a good tip is to watch when camo companies come out with new waterfowl patterns, because then all these companies will clearance out the old camo pattern. Picked up a very nice pair of Frogg Toggs breathable waders a few years ago when Max-7 came out on the market, because they were closing out the Max-5 pattern. My next pair of waders will be those High N Dry zipper waders.

man ive beat the crap outta my stoeger hunting only the bay and itll get rusty after years (mines the black not painted one) but i dont take care of it.. just a little steel wool and wd40 and its like brand new. think i bought mine in 2016 and i hunt a lot and its still kicking
