That was some solid shooting! I have two AR 6.5 grendel in 16 and 18" getting them ready for whitetail and hogs in November. Both zeroed using my own reloads with CFE223 and 123gr hornady SST. Lucky that both rifles like this bullet. I cracked up when I saw that last bullet breaking a solid group since I have run into the same situation many times and filling frustrated as a result. Thanks for sharing.
You have the barrel length/series reversed. The "Standard" series is 20" barrels....And the "Predator" series is 22". You are correct about the "Ranch" series being 16". I have a standard model in .308....In fact I did that build today. I put my standard in a black Magpul Hunter stock, added a Timney drop in set at 2lb. and topped it off with an Arken Optics SH4J. I can't wait to shoot it. And it looks bad ass af.
You are absolutely correct. I caught that at work last night and was going to put a note in the comments. I think the trigger swap may be the best improvement one can do to this rifle. The trigger all weights are all over the place from 3.5 to 5 lbs on the ones I've been testing. I keep hearing about Arken Optics. I may have to look into them.
@BazonBlades How much does your American weigh with that Magpul stock on it? I see how much the American weighs, and then how much the Magpul stock weighs…. But I can’t find any info on how much the original stock weighs, or how much the American weighs with the Magpul stock on it!!! 😂
I have a alexander arms 6.5 grendel pistol and a brand new ruger american gen 2 6.5 and cant wait to fire that ruger. The pistol had to go to Mr fix-it because of cycling issues. They seem to be a bit finicky with alien magazines also. Here in fl its too hot to go out and shoot for any length of time so it will be a second before I test it out for accuracy.I like your video and your a down to earth guy that seems to shoot reel good so keep making some vids and I'll be watching.Be safe!!!
I got a 6mm Arc in gen 2 predator and it shoots same hole at 50 yards and about 1/2 moa at 100 but I’ve only put 40 rounds down the tube !! My best advice so far is to really clean the barrel before you shoot it !!!!! Mine was filled with crap !! I’m pretty sure its from when they cut the hole for the bullet ??? Anyway I’m going to clean it again to get out any oil or metal bits to see how it shoots then !!
you can get a trigger spring from Mcarbo for about 12 bucks that will get your trigger down to about 1.5 lbs Its an easy replacement !! I personally like Ruger triggers but I’ve never shot a Timney trigger !!
Yes it is. but it should be able to take 5 rounds without blowing the group. Any bull barrel will, and this is a fluted barrel and only 6.5 Grendel. I'm just being dramatic in the video about it.
Can u help me with something bud i have gen 1 predator 6.5 Grendel what size can or supresser do i need to get and rugers are pretty good guns for the money

@johnkeisterelquattro2553 , In the Magpul Hunter stock and with the Arken SH4J mounted, the rifle is 12 lbs.

the spring replacement isn't even close to the Timney IMO.
Predator is green 22 inch standard is grey 20 inch ranch is tan 16 inch
Correct. I misspoke in the video and corrected that error in the description.
Your barrel is heating up

What age are you? 72 for me, not for anyone who is under 55. Graded old.
