Bruh some comments about console wars are really dumb :/ I mean i play mostly on PC and Playstation but seeing this port working this beautifully on Xbox Series X is an exciting thing for the whole of future gaming. @@marialopezgutierrez7032 Cloud is only used to stream high quality assets otherwise this game would be 1 TB+ atleast in size. You can play this without cloud too.
The PC version uses dx11, which has serious CPU bottlenecks. The series version is running dx12 which doesn't have as many bottlenecks. The PC version is being updated right about now.
NO they didn't, the PC graphics took a HUGE downgrade so that it would run on the Xbox!!!! So all PC users now have to suffer crappy XBOX graphics.....yeh thanks Microsoft!!

The fact that I have to pause this video and look for differences between a $299 console, my $499 XSX and my PC that cost Thousands is making me sick & incredibly excited at the same time. This is a good result but especially with the Series S you see so many bad results in other games. I’m not convinced with both series consoles. Flight simulator is cool nevertheless. Asobo is a fantastic developer.

@Mauricio Flores Las 3 versiones usan apoyo de la nube, aunque si no me equivoco también existe la opción de jugar sin este apoyo, supongo que sacrifica calidad gráfica
@Mauricio Flores la nube no ayuda en el procesamiento gráfico sino simplemente en cargar texturas para no tener que tenerlas almacenadas ya que no cabrían en ningún disco duro de consola o pc.

@Mauricio Flores La nube se usa para el cargado de texturas, pues el escenario de juego es EL PLANETA ENTERO por si no te habías enterado. El juego pesa 100gb para las texturas de aviones y las más comunes de todo el juego, pero no me quiero imaginar lo que pesaría el juego si se almacenan las texturas de todo el planeta en tu disco duro.
Props to my Series X for being dead silent while running it. Given the fact that it had difficulties running on pc I did not expect it to run this well! I feel like my Xbox should be exploding.
It might explode from having to render so much aliasing, holy shit I haven't seen aliasing that bad since I played Morrowind on my Radeon 9600 in 2002.

@@muchacamara, nah, buddy, this week I have been very busy with work that I haven't had much time to play, but I'll start playing "Yakuza: Like a Dragon" soon, taking advantage of the fact that it is in the Game Pass 👍🏼, and in August I will play other games like "12 Minutes" and "Psychonauts 2" (which I've been waiting for since they were announced 🙂), and I also have to finish Persona 5 on my PS4 Pro (I'm still not interested in buying a PS5 until the exclusive catalog of next gen Sony games increases 🤔, since Demon's Soul is not my type of game and I played Spider-Man on the PS4 Pro). Oh, and in October I will play other games like Back 4 Blood and Age of Empires IV since they will be added to Game Pass on their launch days 💁🏻♂️, and in November, Forza Horizon 5 will be released, which will be set in Mexico. 😁
Seriously why are people being such doughnuts about the performance of the game onnthe series x and s? Who cares. This is a very demanding game that needs a lot of resources to run and considering the fact that this game runs on the series s is really impressive. That is why I hate the gaming community sometimes just because stuff like this. Come on it is a pointless war about 3 boxes with electrical components that run on electricity and run games. Just enjoy the platform you play on and stop attacking people for their opinions and just stop.

It looks good in all 3,if it wasn't for the resolution (and fps) its not easy to see any differences in gameplay.Maybe if you come closer to the land you would,but from above they all look very similar....

How can it not? If you have flat terrain in NYC 5km away from your airplane vs 10 km away, it's a massive difference. Why do you have to even bring PC v console flame war into this? It's strictly about difference between Xbox X and S series and claiming that cheaper is better than more expensive is without any sense. If you don't see the difference, don't buy more expensive gear but not everyone feels the same about it. If we were only to buy best value for money, everyone in the world would drive Renault Clio. Xbox S gives a lot of value for its price and there is nothing wrong with it, that it comes with limiations.

@@DutchManticoreWhat are you talking about man. A computer worth the equivalent of Series S probably won't even run MFS 2020. And even if it does work, to get 30fps you'll need to play on the lowest settings and at most 720p. To make MFS look as good on a computer as on Series S, you have to buy the GPU itself for more than the S is worth. Series S is a truly amazing little box, and when we take into account how much it costs, it is simply a king and it blows the system away.
This looks so good on the series S, I could see it really being the type of game that people would specifically buy the console for - that’s how good it looks (for the price/performance ratio). Series X looks stellar too, but I’m really surprised how great the Series S looks. I thought the settings would have to be dropped pretty dramatically to make it work on the Series S. 300 bucks and Xbox game pass to get a pretty amazing flight sim experience - what a time to be a gamer.

The fact you flew over Naples in this video gives you props alone. My favourite city to go on holiday to, been several times. It’s the first place I’ll be flying to when I install the game, fly past Mount Vesuvius and maybe do a flyby of the Stadio Diego Maradona … Forza Napoli Sempre!
Looks stunning on XSX and it runs great as well with far less stuttering that I get on my admittedly ancient PC. Is this 4K video still processing though because while the static screenshots comparisons look fine and show clearly the difference between 1080p, 1440p and 4K on my 27" PC monitor, the games in motion look dreadful with lots of shimmering and aliasing in the XSX footage, like it's low-res 720p or something, which I know is not right because I've seen 4K footage from other sites and it looks great. RUclips does show this videos is 2160p60 though which is what confuses me.
One thing I do notice further in the video flying over NY City, is that there is some 'pop-up' on the SS. The memory limits of the SS is the reason for that and actually should be expected. FS is undoubtedly a memory intensive program and has to be taxing the limits of the SS, but I’m still amazed at what the programmers have accomplished. The pop-up is still minimal and is where there are a lot of buildings with a ton of detail. Yes, MS could have given the SS the same memory as the SX without raising the price that much and that would solve that issue. Still, to be able to pull off the visuals and realism at $300, the SS is an amazing console!

First, I'm watching your video about 11-12 ft from a 70” 4K Dolby Vision TV. From where I sit, There’s virtually no difference between the three systems. I expect the PC and SX to be as good as they are and for the money they better be! However, the SS just blows me away! No one would expect a $300 console with a third of the SX's power to be able to do what it obviously is doing. If the SS were the only console MS had delivered, no one would be crying or felt they had been let down. The real question, is why would anyone spend more for a console than the SS? There’s just not THAT much difference! The little guy is quite impressive!
For me it's because the 1080p Series S doesn't offer physical media support... I only play (usually, when in my game room and not on the living room TV) on like a 15 inch 1080p TV, I don't need 4K this and that. I just want to experience the new games which release, and be able to experience/purchase/play them physically. Had Microsoft offered a $400 1080p Series console that had a disc drive, I would've almost certainly just gotten that lol. 4K and the extra power really is overkill in my case, but I don't mind it. In general. Ya know, so long as performance doesn't take a huge hit in games because it's forcibly being displayed at 4K rather than 1080p with a steadier framerate
It's amazing that this runs so well on a series S, sure it's 1080p sure it's locked to 30 fps sure the graphics have a slight downgrade from the other platforms but its still very impressive. only 2 years ago getting this level of detail in a flightsim even on a high end PC was impossible now a $300 console is doing it. (also why no FPS counter on the PC visuals? including it in the FPS section and not showing the FPS is pointless) showing FPS on the PC is the easiest out of the 3 yet you fail to show it?

i dont think series x is 1440p i have pc with rtx 3090 and from side to side on my lg cx oled it looks identical unless u put ur eyes at 3 milimetre on the screen..as for the graphics i ts the same thing but i prefer console because its silent...nobody has an rtx 3090 silent pc.

The differences in terms of Draw Distance and resolution between the Series S and X are plenty noticeable. However, as a 25+ year Playstation guy, I have to take my hat off to how well the little Series S copes with what it does, albeit at an archaic res. Also very impressed with how very little difference there is between the Series X Draw Distance and the PC version. They've knocked the ball out of the park with this, simple as.

Lo estuve jugando ayer en Series X, se ve espectacular, alcanza el fotorrealismo. Sin embargo es bastante exigente, aquel que sólo busque gráficos y poco más lo dejará de lado pronto.
All Series S haters should slap their foreheads. What this tiny box offers for such little money is simply invaluable. My 10-year-old son just bought a new Series S 1Tb for the equivalent of $260. And I will say this. I have always played exclusively on PC. In fact, I don't have the newest computer anymore, but I could still sell it for at least 3x the money that my son's new console cost. And I almost fell off my chair when I saw MFS 2020 on a 55-inch TV. Damn, the picture may not be razor sharp, but it looks really damn good. I'm really impressed with this tiny black box. What is also very impressive is the fact that even during heavy air traffic, the game does not slow down as it does on my computer. For this money it's really wow wow wow 💪💪💪

lo bueno del port es que aparte de ser la forma mas asequible de jugar tambien sera la mas facil de instalar, porque la instalacion el fs se podia volver un pequeño infierno a veces

Si en series x hubieran bajado más la resolución a 1080p yo creo que podría llegar a los 60fps, pero cómo en esta generación se han puesto tan intensos con lo del 4K pues ni modo, espero que la gente pronto vea que es mucho la fluidez que la resolución

You don't need $2000 PC to match or beat Xbox series X RTX 3060 can easily run it 1440p max setting 30+fps...... Xbox series X is not even max setting, it is just close to max setting
My XSX puts my THOUSANDS of dollars invested into my BO$$ PC to shame. This looks simply stunning on my LG OLED CX10 btw. Oh, and How The Actual F does this game run and look so good on a machine that cost less than one of my SSDs!!? At $299 the XSS is Killing It 🔥🎮💯

Series S is impressive! I mean I get that when the games advance, the SS will have to take compromises now. But as a SX owner, I ain't seeing that big of a difference (other than resolution, of course!)
@@LiquidSpartan117 I mean probably not. PS4 early to later PS4 was like Last of Us Remastered to Last of Us 2 which was quite an improvement. Days gone is beautiful. I hope we reach the point of that tech demo with the beautiful details. BF 2042 may get close with that. Exciting!

¿Una pregunta porque utilizas una capturadora con compresión de video que empeora los resultados? ¿Y no utilizas una verdadera capturadora sin compresión de video? No se digo yo, ya que si haces una cosa para analizar un video se debería de sacar igual que la fuente y con una capturadora el gato es imposible
My PC plays it really nice but man is really impressed to see the Series X run it smoothly. I'm not going to lie sometimes I prefer to just boot up the series X and play on the big screen than my PC. It's the only game that I'd rather play on the big screen.
Series S (la cual poseo) te da para ir por los parajes recognitos del mundo, la series X si te anima a sobrevolar las grandes ciudades, lo creas o no, la distancia de carga de texturas y dibujados se nota mucho en las grandes ciudades y te quita algo de inmersión, por cierto, el radar del clima no funciona en ningún avión , espero que actualicen y corrijan eso
I just get my new Xbox Serie X and it saved me 3000$ if I had to change my computer in order to play at the same setting (Xbox X setting is equivalent to Very High-Ultra setting on PC) This is crazy how this little guy can run many games like god for that price. Thanks god it was In Stock.....good luck for others to get the Xbox before Christmas....
Thank God my Gtx 1060 died so i emergency bought a xbox series S. My 1060 would be sweating hard with flight simulator because my CPU is kinda outdated. Im so happy not having yo lose a kidney to the new RTX line and a new processor/Motherboard. I saved at least 1 grand.
Con el apoyo de la nube lo veo normal, la gracia para todos es quitarlo y ver que nos da en todas las versiones. De todos modos esta bien, 1440p, 30fps y gráficos en alto, pero en el 2:41 se ven unos bordes de sierra en los aviones de ambas versiones muy acusados... la series S igual que una 1060 y la Series X como una 2070 pero ambas con bordes de sierra. Por 500€ esta genial.
La verdad es que si faltaría la comparativa sin la renderizacion online, la gente gracia a ese modo de está creyendo que la consola es capaz de hacer lo que un pc de 3000 dólares

Xbox x & s have no anti-aliasing, the staircase effect can be clearly seen at the edges of the aircraft. The textures also become blurred with fast movements. The PC has a clear advantage here.

You have to run at 120hz to unlock the framerate. It's around 40-60fps with VRR but obviously it changes alot depending on the location. It's too variable on my old HDMI 2.0 monitor though and I prefer sticking to 60hz/30fps for better consistency. The developers should have capped the game at 40fps on 120hz displays. IMO, VRR is better suited to 60fps or more games whereas a capped 40hz is better for less than 60fps games.

- Series X settings are close to the highest PC settings. Specifically, the drawing distance is the same (and it is one of the most demanding settings). In Series S, the draw distance is considerably less.
- On PC, we have slightly higher quality on clouds, reflections, and some textures.
- Loading times when starting the game are faster in Series X, however, Series S is almost twice as fast when starting a flight. It is likely that this was the higher graphics load and higher settings of Series X.
- The framerate suffers Stuttering in both versions in the more detailed cities. Series X suffers more appreciable framerate drops.
- Porting a game that was initially designed on PC is not an easy task, and if to this we add the fact that Flight Simulator is one of the most demanding PC games today, we can safely say that Asobo Studio has made a great job.

Cloud is only used to stream high quality assets otherwise this game would be 1 TB+ atleast in size. You can play this without cloud too.
I’m impressed how well it runs on Xbox Series since we all knows this game demands a really powerful PC to run! Microsoft did an insane job!
The PC version uses dx11, which has serious CPU bottlenecks. The series version is running dx12 which doesn't have as many bottlenecks. The PC version is being updated right about now.

@@muchacamara, nah, buddy, this week I have been very busy with work that I haven't had much time to play, but I'll start playing "Yakuza: Like a Dragon" soon, taking advantage of the fact that it is in the Game Pass 👍🏼, and in August I will play other games like "12 Minutes" and "Psychonauts 2" (which I've been waiting for since they were announced 🙂), and I also have to finish Persona 5 on my PS4 Pro (I'm still not interested in buying a PS5 until the exclusive catalog of next gen Sony games increases 🤔, since Demon's Soul is not my type of game and I played Spider-Man on the PS4 Pro).
Oh, and in October I will play other games like Back 4 Blood and Age of Empires IV since they will be added to Game Pass on their launch days 💁🏻♂️, and in November, Forza Horizon 5 will be released, which will be set in Mexico. 😁

I just downloaded Flight Simulator couple days ago on Xbox Game pass for my series S. I'm pretty excited to start my departure to fly around the world. 😎🛩
It looks good in all 3,if it wasn't for the resolution (and fps) its not easy to see any differences in gameplay.Maybe if you come closer to the land you would,but from above they all look very similar....
Draw distance is visibly smaller on S. And that's the thing, you noticed even from high altitude.

A computer worth the equivalent of Series S probably won't even run MFS 2020.
And even if it does work, to get 30fps you'll need to play on the lowest settings and at most 720p.
To make MFS look as good on a computer as on Series S, you have to buy the GPU itself for more than the S is worth.
Series S is a truly amazing little box, and when we take into account how much it costs, it is simply a king and it blows the system away.

This looks so good on the series S, I could see it really being the type of game that people would specifically buy the console for - that’s how good it looks (for the price/performance ratio). Series X looks stellar too, but I’m really surprised how great the Series S looks. I thought the settings would have to be dropped pretty dramatically to make it work on the Series S. 300 bucks and Xbox game pass to get a pretty amazing flight sim experience - what a time to be a gamer.

The fact you flew over Naples in this video gives you props alone. My favourite city to go on holiday to, been several times. It’s the first place I’ll be flying to when I install the game, fly past Mount Vesuvius and maybe do a flyby of the Stadio Diego Maradona … Forza Napoli Sempre!
Looks stunning on XSX and it runs great as well with far less stuttering that I get on my admittedly ancient PC.
Is this 4K video still processing though because while the static screenshots comparisons look fine and show clearly the difference between 1080p, 1440p and 4K on my 27" PC monitor, the games in motion look dreadful with lots of shimmering and aliasing in the XSX footage, like it's low-res 720p or something, which I know is not right because I've seen 4K footage from other sites and it looks great. RUclips does show this videos is 2160p60 though which is what confuses me.
It's incredible how they managed to make that game work on consoles. And it's even more impressive on Series S !

One thing I do notice further in the video flying over NY City, is that there is some 'pop-up' on the SS. The memory limits of the SS is the reason for that and actually should be expected. FS is undoubtedly a memory intensive program and has to be taxing the limits of the SS, but I’m still amazed at what the programmers have accomplished. The pop-up is still minimal and is where there are a lot of buildings with a ton of detail. Yes, MS could have given the SS the same memory as the SX without raising the price that much and that would solve that issue. Still, to be able to pull off the visuals and realism at $300, the SS is an amazing console!

First, I'm watching your video about 11-12 ft from a 70” 4K Dolby Vision TV. From where I sit, There’s virtually no difference between the three systems. I expect the PC and SX to be as good as they are and for the money they better be! However, the SS just blows me away! No one would expect a $300 console with a third of the SX's power to be able to do what it obviously is doing. If the SS were the only console MS had delivered, no one would be crying or felt they had been let down. The real question, is why would anyone spend more for a console than the SS? There’s just not THAT much difference! The little guy is quite impressive!
For me it's because the 1080p Series S doesn't offer physical media support... I only play (usually, when in my game room and not on the living room TV) on like a 15 inch 1080p TV, I don't need 4K this and that. I just want to experience the new games which release, and be able to experience/purchase/play them physically. Had Microsoft offered a $400 1080p Series console that had a disc drive, I would've almost certainly just gotten that lol. 4K and the extra power really is overkill in my case, but I don't mind it. In general. Ya know, so long as performance doesn't take a huge hit in games because it's forcibly being displayed at 4K rather than 1080p with a steadier framerate

The differences in terms of Draw Distance and resolution between the Series S and X are plenty noticeable. However, as a 25+ year Playstation guy, I have to take my hat off to how well the little Series S copes with what it does, albeit at an archaic res. Also very impressed with how very little difference there is between the Series X Draw Distance and the PC version.
They've knocked the ball out of the park with this, simple as.

Lo estuve jugando ayer en Series X, se ve espectacular, alcanza el fotorrealismo. Sin embargo es bastante exigente, aquel que sólo busque gráficos y poco más lo dejará de lado pronto.

I have always played exclusively on PC.
In fact, I don't have the newest computer anymore, but I could still sell it for at least 3x the money that my son's new console cost.
And I almost fell off my chair when I saw MFS 2020 on a 55-inch TV.
Damn, the picture may not be razor sharp, but it looks really damn good.
I'm really impressed with this tiny black box.
What is also very impressive is the fact that even during heavy air traffic, the game does not slow down as it does on my computer.

Si en series x hubieran bajado más la resolución a 1080p yo creo que podría llegar a los 60fps, pero cómo en esta generación se han puesto tan intensos con lo del 4K pues ni modo, espero que la gente pronto vea que es mucho la fluidez que la resolución

RTX 3060 can easily run it 1440p max setting 30+fps...... Xbox series X is not even max setting, it is just close to max setting

My XSX puts my THOUSANDS of dollars invested into my BO$$ PC to shame. This looks simply stunning on my LG OLED CX10 btw. Oh, and How The Actual F does this game run and look so good on a machine that cost less than one of my SSDs!!? At $299 the XSS is Killing It 🔥🎮💯

¿Una pregunta porque utilizas una capturadora con compresión de video que empeora los resultados? ¿Y no utilizas una verdadera capturadora sin compresión de video? No se digo yo, ya que si haces una cosa para analizar un video se debería de sacar igual que la fuente y con una capturadora el gato es imposible

My PC plays it really nice but man is really impressed to see the Series X run it smoothly. I'm not going to lie sometimes I prefer to just boot up the series X and play on the big screen than my PC. It's the only game that I'd rather play on the big screen.

Series S (la cual poseo) te da para ir por los parajes recognitos del mundo, la series X si te anima a sobrevolar las grandes ciudades, lo creas o no, la distancia de carga de texturas y dibujados se nota mucho en las grandes ciudades y te quita algo de inmersión, por cierto, el radar del clima no funciona en ningún avión , espero que actualicen y corrijan eso
I just get my new Xbox Serie X and it saved me 3000$ if I had to change my computer in order to play at the same setting (Xbox X setting is equivalent to Very High-Ultra setting on PC)

Thank God my Gtx 1060 died so i emergency bought a xbox series S. My 1060 would be sweating hard with flight simulator because my CPU is kinda outdated. Im so happy not having yo lose a kidney to the new RTX line and a new processor/Motherboard. I saved at least 1 grand.
Con el apoyo de la nube lo veo normal, la gracia para todos es quitarlo y ver que nos da en todas las versiones. De todos modos esta bien, 1440p, 30fps y gráficos en alto, pero en el 2:41 se ven unos bordes de sierra en los aviones de ambas versiones muy acusados... la series S igual que una 1060 y la Series X como una 2070 pero ambas con bordes de sierra. Por 500€ esta genial.

Xbox x & s have no anti-aliasing, the staircase effect can be clearly seen at the edges of the aircraft. The textures also become blurred with fast movements.
The PC has a clear advantage here.
You can't build a pc for $500 that can run this game at these settings.

You have to run at 120hz to unlock the framerate. It's around 40-60fps with VRR but obviously it changes alot depending on the location. It's too variable on my old HDMI 2.0 monitor though and I prefer sticking to 60hz/30fps for better consistency. The developers should have capped the game at 40fps on 120hz displays.
IMO, VRR is better suited to 60fps or more games whereas a capped 40hz is better for less than 60fps games.
I play on the Xbox and I'm really impressed. I wasn't expecting this game to look so good on the xbox
