This is an AWESOME tool!! Bought one awhile back and love it!! Quality built, I like how the handle is a bit longer & it has a very comfy grip. I use the bronze & steel wool pad with it and it works great. I think my favorite part of it is the swivel, so handy!! I’ve used other tools like this, but prefer this one especially for big glass. Well worth the money😎👍🏼 BUY ONE!!
New guy here, if you are using this to scrub windows would you still use a TBar and mop to apply soap after you’ve scrubbed the window or just use this to also apply soap?
For me wool on a pad doesn't offer enough pressure to remove anything here. I get a workout everyday scrubbing things with steel wool. If boar cant remove, then a pad won't either
Agreeed about not enough pressure. That s why I like the Maykker Handy Sleeve. Smaller surface area means more pressure. A 6x9 bronze wool pad cut in half will fit the 6inch Handy sleeve nicely.
@@SteveOthewindowcleaner Thank you! One more thing: in a really hard case of hard water on a shower cabin, would you consider putting walnut pads on a rotating electric device like an electric drill or polishing machine? In Berlin, Germany we have such hard water, it's like showering in bricks 😉
I have been all over WCR and have not been able to find bronze wool 4x9 pads. Were are you purchasing these that fit onto the back of the IPC techno pad?
What is the best way to clean windo inside ? I struggel with the black rubber sieal start drip on the frame and leavs gray drip marks. And i cant get it off without putting a long time scrubbing it off. Living in Norway 😅
So, SteveO, what's better for some extra deep cleaning: The walnut pad, bronze wool pad, 0000 steel wool, or magic eraser white pad? Getting confused, lol. Just ordered some towels from WCR-will order more as I go deeper into this business venture.
Thanks for the video. In France, it is very difficult to find tools for cleaning windows. Our profession is not considered at its fair value. As soon as money, I place an order with WCR. 🤙🤙🤙.
In my TikToks, it is also the #1 question I get. Mine did break a little when it fell off my pole. For some reason, mine doesn't clip into my Unger tip.
Bummer I want to buy this great tool but the BRONZE WOOL PADS are out of stock any idea where to find them or what would be the second option instead of bronze pads to use this tool?
@@SteveOthewindowcleaner thank you Steve O. I actually just order some bronze pads from a site Expecting them next week. I can add the link if anyone is interested
For hard water is best to use a cream meant to remove hard water such as Diamond Magic windowcleaner.com/products/diamond-magic-stain-remover?sca_ref=3020242.k17l3JaEgS
As you can see I replied to the RUclips Video however still cannot buy one in England we do clean windows here so I don't have any idea why this is the case??
Yes great tool to have I’ve had mine for almost 3 years I like to use white pads mainly with it and sometimes the red pads I bought it through windows 101 and also have it as a waterfed tool it’s kind of like wagtail wave good chit 👉🏻👍🏻
They’ve become the most popular tool in window cleaning, and not expensive at all windowcleaner.com/products/ipc-eagle-technopad-with-handle?sca_ref=3020242.k17l3JaEgS
Hey Steve the best thing I would do is replace the velcro on that peel that old one out and put two velcros on it and it'll hold what you put it on it again there's no need to pay $22 for a new one if you could replace the velcro tape on it to hold your pad
Actually I find that the Velcro doesn’t last so long. This is the only issue of this product. Of course I did the mistake to let it overnight in my bucket full of water :-(
Hey Steveo I really love your channel it's been big help ! I was wondering can you do a video on how to change shooter tips for my tucker brush currently I have to 4 pencil jets I want to modify it to 2 pencil jets and 2 fan tips that way I can cover all my basis please
Thanks mate just to tool I have been looking , problem I can not find a supplier in England so I have e-mailed W.C.R. to see if they can help . Colin the window cleaner
If you have those hairs that get stuck in your velcro the best way to get them out is putting the velcro in a tub with water and a dryer sheet. It’ll lift the hairs off the velcro making it easier to clean.
Looks awesome mate. Heard of Pulex but not IPC. Have you guys in the USA had walnut pads land on your shores yet? Will have to see if I can get a technopad here in the UK Great for insect and environmental dirt removal
Use a similar called a doodle bug only difference is that there is no swivel *up down or left right) but uses are the same and the pad holder is full size not just those janky strips
I was thinking the same thing, looks like a doodlebug (edit: I had my numbers mixed up, they're pretty similar in price), but I've never seen a doodlebug holder for a pole that didn't swivel.
Hey Steveo can you do a review on the new unger extension poles at home depot? The old blue ones have always been good and recommended by you and other window cleaners but they have a new model they are selling now and im not sure if i should purchase one or not they look nice and seem like they would be good but im not sure your review would help please!!! Anyone feel free to look it up and see what you think! Only difference is the they are using a clamp to adjust the size instead of a twist/lock. Being that the the twist lock is the first thing to break on the old poles then I would predict the new ones with a clamp will far out live the old style. It’s definitely a huge upgrade that they should of done way before now.
I bought mine through windows 101. And it had a rinse bar on it. It's my favorite by far. Sorry Tucker.
Bought one from you Thursday excited to get it!
Just ordered this. This will save me so much time instead of swirling steel wool for 2 hours!!
Sorry to bother you, could you please tell me how to order one?

Hey SteveO, thanks for showing this! I have seen you use that tool and said," I need to get me one!" Ordering one soon!

Does the walnut pads work just as good as the bronze cuz I can never find the bronze wool pads
I turned my disco pad into a waterfed attachment. So lite and fast.

Can you use the IPC Pad with a Unger bar? Does it lock in place so it can't fall off?
I cut steel wool from the roll to fit. Game changer.
Dang, gotta get me a coupla those! Thanks for the hot tip Steveo!
