i make and sell scrunchies on Facebook and finishing them off was always the hardest part! I do them differently than in the video but I might try this way too and see if it’s easier!

Just started sewing today as I've joined a theater team that makes their own costumes (I have absolutely NO sewing knowledge. @@catee4594 I have to agree sinve I took better to chotchet than knitting whichbis sad since my grandmother and mom both knit. My sis apparently took it up after some time away from mom so maybe mom just can't teach it but I know I won't take knitting up any time soon.
I use cloth hankies! Thought I was the only one. Mine are 8x8 and I use old t-shirts for them, since they do dirty work HA! I've also used old thin terry towels to make 12x12 meal napkins, nothing still fluffy, to wipe mouth and fingertips. Not for guests, just for my daily use. These pieces all go into the laundry taking no room at all, and I've saved all kinds of money not buying paper versions.
I made thousands of hair scrunchies in the 80's. I sold them $2 each, 3 for $5. I also knotted the elastic instead of sewing it together. I also used clear plastic thread and never had to change thread colors!

Your scrunchie method is really good, I always used to start by seeing the fabric into a tube and then struggling to sew the short edges together at the end but your method makes really easy, neat scrunchies, thank you 😊❤️
Scrunchies! 💚💚💚 I make belly binding wraps (or should I say I make a lot of things, but that's what I sell) and it would be nothing to take a few inches off the end to make one of these to tuck in the bag as a gift (and useful too if a new parent). So cute 💚

Have you tried just use a pre-existing hair elastic and sewing scrunchie fabric around it? I'm wondering how difficult that would be compared to your method. Awesome video!
I’ve tried this method using the pre-existing hair elastic and it came out beautifully. I used another RUclipsrs way and am now going to scrap them and use this method👍🏾

Same but that is because I don't own a sewing machine and I hated the ones with a foot pedal since my brain and foot don't have the same timing.

Have you tried just use a pre-existing hair elastic and sewing scrunchie fabric around it? I'm wondering how difficult that would be compared to your method. Awesome video!
Haven’t tried it myself. It might be a bit fiddly, but totally possible! 😊
I’ve tried this method using the pre-existing hair elastic and it came out beautifully. I used another RUclipsrs way and am now going to scrap them and use this method👍🏾
