    If you were curious about why pizza wouldn’t exist without Mexico, it’s because tomatoes were grown only in the Americas prior to Columbus’ “discovery” of the americas

      @@user-bx4ti6ig3i No. Even in the Italy episode of Geography Now, that nonsense was debunked. Pasta existed in Italy long before contact with Asia.

    Oh i think you misunderstood. México has a population of way more than 21 million. The 21 millions are for México CITY alone. Its one of the largests cities in the world.

    Nachos was actually invented when a group of drunk Americans entered a Mexican restaurant along the border. The owner and cooks were about to close up and had a few things left. Tortilla chips, cheese, jalapeños, and bingo! You got nachos!
    21 million people in Mexico City. 124 million for the country of Mexico.
    Amerindian means any person of indigenous groups in Latin America.
    If you want to learn Spanish, go for it! I'm Salvadoran, not Mexican. But all of us appreciate people who are not Latino/Hispanic attempting and communicating with us in Spanish.

    I met Oscar de la Hoya in downtown Los Ángeles way back in the early 1990’s.
    My grandmother was born in Sonora, Mexico. DNA shows we are mestizo with Iberian and Meso-American heritage.

    I am so happy you reacted to Mexico! I have been seeing your American reactions, but for someone like me who is from both countries, this is pretty cool! Mexico is so much more than tacos, it is a diverse country with friendly people. Do not let the border and cartel news deter you from visiting, just follow the local's advice, there are plenty of places to see, people to talk to, and food to eat in Mexico. Oh and Mezcal and Tequila of course!

    21:22 I wasn’t even aware of the positive Mexican-Japanese relations until a few years ago when I was flying out of Mexico and I noticed more than half the passengers were Japanese workers and families and the flight info announced was said in Spanish and Japanese. I thought that was pretty cool since I had been visiting Mexico for years by that point but had never noticed 😆

    Mexico truly is a beautiful country. I am proud to have been born there. Unfortunately, much of what people know about it is what they here in the news. If you're in the U.S. all you'll probably hear is stuff about the cartel and any act of violence that occurs like it doesn't occur anywhere else in the world. It's very sad since many will never know about all the wonderful things there just because they are being so misguided. Anyway, awesome vid. I really enjoyed your reaction

    Oscar de la Hoya is not mexican and is not a good boxer at all, but Julio Cesar Chávez and Salvador Sánchez, and Finito López are.

    • @trinidad510
      @trinidad510 3 месяца назад

      @@jorgepreciado6984 Oscar de La Hoya is a multiple time world Champion in multiple divisions. He fought WAY harder competition than Chavez and Sanchez. He was a far more skilled boxer than Chavez in terms of Athleticism, movement, and defensive ability. Chavez had a padded record, he fought like 85 cab drivers before he ever fought any elite competition, whereas De La Hoya was fighting world champions for majority of his career; also stylistically Chavez was a pressure fighter who constantly walked forward and got hit, that's not boxing, that's just being tough and being able withstand punishment. Was Chavez great, yes, but he wasn't a better boxer than De La Hoya, No. Though he did have the longer more successful career. I boxed since I was 14 and can tell you that there's a reason that De La Hoya KO'd Chavez other than Chavez being old, De La Hoya was just the better more skilled fighter
