If you were curious about why pizza wouldn’t exist without Mexico, it’s because tomatoes were grown only in the Americas prior to Columbus’ “discovery” of the americas
It was Marco polo who took them to Europe as well as noodles from Asia into Italy.
You choose a very bad video made by Mexican Americans,
Tomatos, chocolate, vanilla, tobacco, coffee beans, corn, avocados, were all western hemisphere crops.

@@user-bx4ti6ig3i No. Even in the Italy episode of Geography Now, that nonsense was debunked. Pasta existed in Italy long before contact with Asia.
Oh i think you misunderstood. México has a population of way more than 21 million. The 21 millions are for México CITY alone. Its one of the largests cities in the world.
yeah 100% i misheard
Nachos was actually invented when a group of drunk Americans entered a Mexican restaurant along the border. The owner and cooks were about to close up and had a few things left. Tortilla chips, cheese, jalapeños, and bingo! You got nachos!
21 million people in Mexico City. 124 million for the country of Mexico.
Amerindian means any person of indigenous groups in Latin America.
If you want to learn Spanish, go for it! I'm Salvadoran, not Mexican. But all of us appreciate people who are not Latino/Hispanic attempting and communicating with us in Spanish.
It’s Tex-Mex just like me 😆
21 million people in Mexico City
124 million Mexicans in the country And around 45 million Mexicans in the United States
The Castle of Chapultepec is the only one Royal castle in the whole American continent. 🌎
Mexicos population isn’t 21 Million, Mexico City’s population is 21 Million, Mexico’s total population is like 126 Million
I met Oscar de la Hoya in downtown Los Ángeles way back in the early 1990’s.
My grandmother was born in Sonora, Mexico. DNA shows we are mestizo with Iberian and Meso-American heritage.
I am so happy you reacted to Mexico! I have been seeing your American reactions, but for someone like me who is from both countries, this is pretty cool! Mexico is so much more than tacos, it is a diverse country with friendly people. Do not let the border and cartel news deter you from visiting, just follow the local's advice, there are plenty of places to see, people to talk to, and food to eat in Mexico. Oh and Mezcal and Tequila of course!
21:22 I wasn’t even aware of the positive Mexican-Japanese relations until a few years ago when I was flying out of Mexico and I noticed more than half the passengers were Japanese workers and families and the flight info announced was said in Spanish and Japanese. I thought that was pretty cool since I had been visiting Mexico for years by that point but had never noticed 😆
Mexico truly is a beautiful country. I am proud to have been born there. Unfortunately, much of what people know about it is what they here in the news. If you're in the U.S. all you'll probably hear is stuff about the cartel and any act of violence that occurs like it doesn't occur anywhere else in the world. It's very sad since many will never know about all the wonderful things there just because they are being so misguided. Anyway, awesome vid. I really enjoyed your reaction
The uk episode is actually coming up in a few months, since the next geography now episode is uganda
I moved to Mexico from Arizona for a better life, been here five years and never seen them cartels they talk about, people are very nice and helpful... Mexico is a wonderful place.
Hope it stays that way, it’s been escalating a lot these past couple years
"usos y costumbres" its not just in Chiapas but in a los of other states with indigenous communities
They didn't talked about the meteor that struck Yucatán and kill all the dinosaurs 😅
43 hours a week??? people in the Mercado where i grew up in Cordoba Veracruz Mexico would be up at 4 am and close shop around 7 pm sunday to sunday!!!
Hey the golden eagle is Auburn Universitys mascot. I love golden eagles. They are beautiful!!!! Warrrrr Eagle!!!
Did they forget Vicente Ramon Guerrero? The 2nd president of Mexico who was an Afro Mexican.
You're welcome to come and visit.
I'm american, mexican and french canadian
126 million Mexicans in Mexico plus 47 million abroad
Como siempre, México para los extranjeros es sólo de cdmx para abajo.
Cdmx, Oaxaca, Chiapas, Jalisco,ah, Cancún.
Unless there's some sort of unusual circumstance that I'm not aware of I believe Lupita Nyong'o is Mexican by birthright.
For example had she been born in the U.S. she would be considered an American.
Exactly. She's Mexican with Kenyan ancestry.
It's NOT RIO GRANDE!!! it's RIO BRAVO!!! don't let gringos name it río grande because it's NOT!
Do not defend the cartels.
Stop focusing on the food!! Mexico isn't all about food!! (angrily eats tacos) 🇲🇽
Mexico City has 22 million people but the whole state has more than 30 million the whole county has 135 million peole
15:05 That's the capital city. They literally said it.
actualy you can fit 3 Unated Kingdoms in Mexico and there is still space, that's why is a free sovereign country.
❤😂
21 million in the city
11 million😂😂😂😂😂 yeah right
Ok
21:46 objection 🤨Most young mexicans I know get kinda pissed at Spain if you remind them about the colonization and the devastating post-colonization cultural and racial aftermath (especially the atrocities and how they refuse to give us back our relics they stole)
Me siento orgulloso de ser mexicano, Estados unidos es bastante pobre en historia a comparación de México y mi hermoso país tiene una rica y basta historia, gastronomía ni se diga, somos 32 estados y cada uno es como un minipais.
You should react to
unam universidad de la nación

@@L3WGReacts why
Oscar de la Hoya is not mexican and is not a good boxer at all, but Julio Cesar Chávez and Salvador Sánchez, and Finito López are.
@@jorgepreciado6984 Oscar de La Hoya is a multiple time world Champion in multiple divisions. He fought WAY harder competition than Chavez and Sanchez. He was a far more skilled boxer than Chavez in terms of Athleticism, movement, and defensive ability. Chavez had a padded record, he fought like 85 cab drivers before he ever fought any elite competition, whereas De La Hoya was fighting world champions for majority of his career; also stylistically Chavez was a pressure fighter who constantly walked forward and got hit, that's not boxing, that's just being tough and being able withstand punishment. Was Chavez great, yes, but he wasn't a better boxer than De La Hoya, No. Though he did have the longer more successful career. I boxed since I was 14 and can tell you that there's a reason that De La Hoya KO'd Chavez other than Chavez being old, De La Hoya was just the better more skilled fighter
Is a bit out of date this vídio and mexican population 135 million
All Saints day is celebrated in Catholic countries in Europe.Americans would not like this if they knew. My opinion.
All saints day and día de muertos are two VEEEEEEERRRRRRYYYYYYYYYY different traditions.
