Believe the Bible makes it very clear on this subject, here is but one: 1 Cor 6:14-
14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
one thing that IS good for ALL is to be saved is SOLE trust in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 Ephesians 1:13 end of story. God doesn't CALL everyone differently either. When you are TRULY saved, you are now a 2 Corinthians 5:18-20 minister and ambassador. Pretty simple. God's will is not NOT have different snowflakes. It's 1 Timothy 2:4 ALL MEN SAVED!
He's not following Christs example by being in that band no matter what he says "God" is speaking to him.
David Anzaldua think about what Daniel did. He was serving with the other sorcerers in Nebuchadnezzar's court. It would be pretty easy to judge him, but that's where God wanted him.
I totally agree but God called Daniel to that and he served him just like you and I would serve a mean dad, because that's Gods order... this is entirely different. Daniel separated himself even within living in the Babylonian kingdom, he didn't become a sorcerer or something to become like them. Brian is being led and taking part in the kingdoms of this world, he's not being a light just because he believes in Jesus. He could do "good" things and still not be doing Gods will for his life. That's why God said that there will be people that said, did we not cast out demons and heal and your name? And he would say depart from me you workers of iniquity!! Not because they were doing bad things, but because they were not doing his will, they were doing their own.

David Anzaldua I don't think either of us is in a place to know what God has or has not said to Brian Welch. He's a Spirit-filled believer, and he's continuing to see people get healed as he prays for them at Korn concerts. These are people who might never come into contact with a Spirit-filled believer otherwise. I have no reason to believe he's not telling the truth about God calling him back into the band after he left it, so I'm going to choose to take his word for it.
Regarding Daniel, we have no idea what all he was called to do in serving Nebuchadnezzar - we just know that he was able to stay in that position for many years, with a king who was more than willing to execute his sorcerers. Daniel 5:11 tells us that Nebuchadnezzar appointed him chief of The magicians, conjurers, Chaldeans (a.k.a sorcerers), and diviners. So I can't say what he did or didn't do, but for much of his rule Nebuchadnezzar was a pagan King, and Daniel was serving him for years and years.
Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To their own master, servants stand or fall. And they will stand, for the Lord is able to make them stand. (Romans 14:4)
