Jeep Gladiator Truck Overland by EVO Mount Washington New Hampshire Nitto JL JT Experience Part 6

- Our 4th day of Lobster Quest, the Nitto JL/JT Experience presented by KMC Wheels, was for the most part a road day but one that took us out to see a lot of cools places. From Keene, New Hampshire, we made our way to the north and on beautiful back roads that were covered in an explosion of Fall colors. Along the way, we got to see a massive water pipe made out of wood, drove through several historic covered bridges and all before reaching our main destination of the day, the top of the tallest peak in the Northeast, Mount Washington. I know this is a short video and one that doesn't involve wheeling but we hope you enjoy it just the same.
We hope you've been enjoyed watching EVO, Synergy, Skyjacker, PSC, JKS, Tactical Off Road, Hi-Lift, all the participants and of course, yours truly taking on some of the fun trails the east coast has to offer.
This video was independently filmed, edited and produced by Cindy and Eddie Oh of WAYALIFE. The opinions and actions of the individuals featured are in no way affiliated with or attributable to Nitto Tire, KMC Wheels, Off Road Evolution or any of the JL/JT Experience sponsors.

That’s called a wood stave pipe. We’ve had to decommission a few of them and replace it with ductile iron. Always sad to replace old ingenuity. Beautiful scenery! Love the fall colors! 🍁❤️🐞
No kidding, thanks for the heads up :)
I can’t get enough of this channel best Jeep gladiator videos killer looking jeeps and cool 😎 people you don’t even need a beer 🍺 to have a good time with keep it up
LOL - so glad to hear you're liking our videos :)
This was my first time to see the New England state's scenery and it sure is pretty. Thanks for the ride.
Very cool! So glad that we could share it with you :)
I am impressed that you “drove” your Jeep “across the country” under its own power and your wheeling! Bro if you don’t break anything I’d say the 35k in EVO parts is completely worth it! Thank you for showing us what these non trailered Jeeps can do!
Oh yeah, we never trailer our Jeeps anywhere. I mean, what would be the point of that? In total, we racked up almost 7,500 miles on this trip and I should note, in total comfort thanks to our EVO suspension system. Also, there's no way we'd wheel as hard as we did back there if we didn't have total confidence in the components used in our build.
Glad to see you guys made it to the East coast. Nice change of pace from all the wheeling out West.
It really was. It was a real pleasure to wheel and experience all that you have back east.
Been following for a long time. My wife and I are finally up in NH and we are using your videos as a guide! Thanks!
Glad to hear it!
I was totalling waiting for, "I've seen this movie. The black guy always dies first!" But that outro was epic!
LOL - too funny :)
7th time i've watched this can't get enough of your videos Eddie and Cindy, you guys are awesome
Glad you enjoy it!
Looks like a great trip. Beautiful mountain colors.
It really was :)
What an amazing scenery,so cool man! Another great video and many thanks for sharing Cindy and Eddie. 😍❤️
Happy that we could share this with you. It definitely is a place worthy of a visit :)
Wayalife Yes I would like. I was a few times in your wonderful country but in New York,San Francisco and Chicago. I'm from Madrid (Spain) and we are 15 friends all of us driving a Jeep. CJ,YJ,TJ,JK and JL (I have a TJ) but here is so difficult to make off-road because the majority of the places are protected spaces and before entering we have to ask for permits and if you don't,800 $ penalty. United States is the best country in the world to have and enjoy a Jeep. At least I can enjoy your videos. If you ever come to Spain, you have a house in Madrid.
Wow, that's very nice of you. It's been years since I've been to Spain but always remembered it as being beautiful. It's a shame you can't off-road out there the way we can in America.
Great adventure, Those historic bridges are very cool. I like to make stops like that on our trips as well. Looks like fun!
Oh yeah, no point in going to places like this if you don't make any stops to take it all in.
Again, EPIC! What beautiful scenery. The timing for the color change was great! I thought maybe someone would try the rocks down the side of Mt. Washington! Great work!
So glad you enjoyed seeing all this :)
Gotta say you captured some of the best video of our New England foliage for your subscribers. I was up hiking that area around the same time and you timed it perfectly. I sometimes take it for granted but it is really colorful, like Bryce Canyon colorful, or pick your favorite west coat scenic vista. Thank you for coming to discover it. Just wish we had more access to it for Jeeping.
Why thank you, we're so glad to hear we did okay :)
Hope you guys go to Acadia National park before heading home enjoy the Mainers and lobstas
Absolutely love the scenery covered bridges history etc good stuff as always be safe
Awesome! Always happy to hear you're liking this stuff :)
Most definitely thank you for all the hard work on the videos an sharing with everyone
While visiting the PNE once, I drove up to Lake Champlain and as drove through a long sweeping curve, all of a sudden all the trees were bright crimson red on the mountain. Every single tree! I had never seen a mountain completely covered in red trees. Where's the Laub-stah dinner?! I loved those laub-stah dinners for $20! Everywhere I ate, laub-stah dinners were $20! Nice video work!
Absolutely beautiful, we made the trip last year for the fall color changing of the seasons and was amazed at how surreal it was. Great to see it again, thanks for sharing👍👍👍🇺🇸
Awesome, we're glad that we could share this with you.
Cindy is an awesome videographer. She makes everyone look good. Thanks to both of you for the effort, and info. JT is on my wish list and you are making it rise to the top.
Cindy thanks you for the kind words and we both hope you get your JT sooner than later :)
Not sure that I'll ever make it back to New England now that I live out west so thanks for bringing me along on the trip! My favorite video segment was the walk on the bridge.
Well, I'm glad that we could take you along with us even if through video
Leaf 🍁 peeping is definitely on my bucket list now.
It really should be. I think everyone needs to see it at least once :)
Breathtaking! Thanks for sharing!
Glad you enjoyed it!
This is the best season to visit the east coast! What a beautiful colors. Great video as usual! Keep up the great work with your amazing Jeeps! 🇳🇱❤️🇺🇸✌️🥇😀
Thank you. So glad you enjoyed this one :)
Mt. Washington is definitely a road trip goal. Thanks for sharing!
You bet! So glad that we could share this with you and hope you can experience it for yourself someday :)
I just got back from that drive in MT Washington a few months ago. Spectacular. Wish I took my Jeep. The rentals breaks weren’t happy lol
Great videos!!!
LOL - very cool
Looks like a great time, can't wait for the next installment. Wish we had more mountains here in the Midwest! I love the adaptive cruise as well, makes road trips so much more relaxing! It'll be a godsend on that long drive back!
So glad to hear you've been enjoying the series!
It would be awesome to see the routes you took to each location so that we the fans could make the trip ourselves!
MT. Washington is always a fun drive up in a Jeep. I never got to experience it with the clear skies you did. I guess that almost makes up for the rest of your trip lol. You guys better chow down on some lobsta and clam chowda before you go home!
Holy Dang! Just noticed the camera rig hanging off the black Gladiator. Wow that's awesome!
What's really awesome is how much all that stuff costs!
Pick on a guy when he has had a few drinks? There will be pay back time when he sees your video! As always, I enjoyed your video and it is good to see how much fun you all have. Thanks for taking us along!
LOL - Harris and I do this all the time. It's a part of the JL/JT Experience.
Wish I had known you were in my neck of the woods! Happy to see NH getting some love!
LOL - wish we would have known we'd be going through there. Beautiful for sure.
I appreciate the fact that I didn't have to grit my teeth once this time. The last vlog was a you know what buster ... as always Fun Stuff!
LOL - too funny. Glad we could get you to watch without gritting your teeth :)
Welcome to NH! Please do another video in NH soon!
Thank you and we would love to.
I knew you were heading to MT Washington! Been wanting to get my jeep up there, gonna have to make time for it soon. Enjoy Maine, get ya some wicked pissa lobstas on their beautiful coast line.
Had an awesome time up there :)
This is awesome! We were just up there October 16th. We had weather move in right at we got to the peak so we had no view. Still an awesome experience driving the JK to the top.
Very cool that you got to go up there too :)
Nice landscapes.
We never get to see such colors during season changes
It really was beautiful out there.
I'm from NH, glad you got to experience my state first hand. Must of just missed you on my vacation up there a few weeks ago!
Beautiful up there for sure :)
Come on man, why you gotta do Harris like that. HAHA!
HAHAHA!! It's only because we're such good friends :)
Great to see you guys in my home state of new Hampshire!! And you were there at a perfect time. Great foliage year.
It was a real pleasure being up there.
Nicely done! Love the ending, Harris didn’t make it look easy, but he got it done!
LOL - it's always awesome to be on a trip like this with good friends :)
Wow nice ride!
Glad you liked what you saw :)
HaHa! Wow that was awesome! Great end to the video! I'm so jealous, would absolutely love to be there with you guys! Thanks for sharing!!!
LOL - maybe some day you can join us for the fun :)
Really cool day off.
It really was nice to see the sights :)
Ah man! You’re in my old home state. Staying here in Colorado, but love the state of NH since 1978. Oh the jeepS I’ve broken there...
Being from Colorado and the west coast. That is some pretty trees!
Yup, we get colors where I'm at but not quite like that.
New subscriber- From New Hampshire!!! So cool to watch you enjoying New England; and thanks for showing us trails to try! Hoping to build a baby (affordable) Wayalife Jeep ;) Thanks for all the hard work on the videos!
Awesome! Thank you for subscribing, we're so glad that you're enjoying our videos :)
You guys are doing an amazing job. Your videos truly represent the moniker Wayalife. Have become a huge fan. All the best for more great content in future. Keep up the good work.
Thank you, we really do appreciate it and we're so glad that you're enjoying our videos :)
Amazing experience! Thank you for sharing with us 👍🏻
Awesome! So glad that we could share it with you :)
Beautiful
Loving these JL/JT vids, great content man, very well done! Can't wait until you get some vids of doing stuff in the Gladiator back west sans wet slimey rocks!
Mind giving an overview, compare contrast like, at the end of this series of vids about doing these trips in a Gladiator/ Wrangler since you've done both now? Just an idea.
Keep up the great content, have fun, and stay safe! 🤙
Sure, I think we can do something like that. It'll have to wait until after SEMA though :)
Can’t believe u got a day like that on top of mtn Washington.
LOL - is that a good thing or bad thing? I'm gonna guess good being that we could see forever from up there :)
Thank you for sharing, it keeps the dream alive.
You bet! :)
I was sooooo tipsy lol....... great video lol
HAHAHA!! Man, that was so much fun that night. The whole chicken thing is something I'll never forget :)
@@wayalife me either lol
Absolutely beautiful scenery 😀
It really was out there :)
You lucked out, clear views at the top are very rare...you can see forever up there...and did you see the cog railroad train at the top?
We definitely lucked out and yes, we saw the train.
Outstanding job have a great time thanks
Thank you :)
Your best video yet!
Why thank you :)
That looks like where I live lol we go west for scenery you go east. Oh BTW I live in southern Illinois about 2 miles from the Shawnee national Forest, blows people's minds when they see it for the first time. Everyone thinks Chicago when they here Illinois, not even close. I told you all that useless information just to say awesome video lol
LOL - Thank you and we've driven through your neck of the woods before. It really is pretty out that way.
There should be special bumper stickers that say, "This Jeep drove over Mt. Washington."
"The worst weather in the world" said nobody who's ever spent the winter in Ely NV lol.
I am sure it gets cold there, but MT. Washington holds many world records for extreme temperatures and wind speeds. -47 F and 231 mph.
www.nhpr.org/post/mt-washington-tied-second-coldest-place-earth#stream/0
I’m going to do the his next year. Amazing!!!!
Awesome
Eddie is always thirsty ! 😂☺️😂😂😂
LOL - I resemble that remark :)
Thanks for the great adventure.
Glad we could share them with you :)
Great video thank you!
You bet, glad you enjoyed it :)
Another great video!!!! Are all you guys running 40’s and bigger axles?
Nope. There were a few running 37's and on factory axles.
Yinz are livin' the dream...
LOL - tryin anyway :)
Looks like the JL X got a little too tipsy there at the end. lolol
LOL there was no "too" about it. Just having a good time :)
@@wayalife hahah!
Man very nice video god bless...
Thank you :)
The poor dude at the end of the video is going to have nightmares about saying the full title!!! 😂
LOL - Harris and I always like to have a good time doing silly things.
Hi Eddy.
Are there more video's of this trip? Yours are awesome of course but I saw that black JT with the fancy camera strapped to the bed.
Are there more channels I need to check?
Thanks.
Our friend David owns a company called Drixtin and he was putting out videos every day we were on this trip. You can find them on Instagram under his name. We reposted them as well on our Instagram account and you can see them there too.
Nice!
Thank you :)
“Do we even have a CD player?!?” Ha Ha. Nope. My 2015 jk sport does. Go to your local library 📚 and get it copied onto digital. Worth a listen on a long trip
LOL
love how overland is used yet no tent and every night is spent in a hotel Hahaha
LOL - The word "overland" is in reference to the "truck" build and not the trip itself. A tent is coming but only because guys like you would expect to see it, we just ran out of time before making the 3,000 mile trip back east. Some of us are still happy to just use a regular ground tent as needed. But I know, if you don't show all the doodads you have in use, you're not a true "overlander" hahahaha
Wayalife overlanding to me is, self reliant adventure travel to remote destinations where journey is the primary goal, while expedition is defined as a journey with a purpose, overlanding sees the journey as the purpose..... so as long as it’s in a tent in a vehicle in a RTT doesn’t matter. but must be self reliant. I have an overland build, it’s not a truck either. And I don’t have all the doodads, gear, or sponsorships. Would love to go on one of these trips but I’m too poor and only own a jku
LOL! Back in the day, we used to call it "off-roading" with some "camping" involved.
Your videos rock!!!!!! but where are the other guys in the black JT??
You mean the videos they made? They were posting them up daily on Instagram. We reposted them on our IG account.
@@wayalife guess that means I saw them on you Instagram!! Didn't know if they had longer videos like yours. Keep up the awesome work!!!
SH*T, yall were up in NH, I would have met up with you guys, only a few hours drive away from me, sad i missed out :(
Yup, we were there but I don't think any of us knew that we would be other than Mel.
i want to start off roading! wow guess its time to save uppp
The time is now :)
Nice camera rig on the JT...when you getting one Eddie lol
LOL that rig and camera cost about as much as my JT
Wayalife lol it’s ok just keep Cindy (hope I spelt it correct) employed operating this camera we love both of y’all, I say 2019 RUclips Couple of the Year 🏆, great video as usual
You're way too kind. Thank you.
Tipsy Eddie is funny as hell
LOL - always love to have a good time with all my good friends :)
Love it
Awesome :)
Curious-I have a tight budget. Why buy the rubicon for the extra price if you ended up replacing the axels/diff/suspension anyways? Wondering if i could just get a sport and gut it the same way and not start with the higher starting price. What am I missing? Adaptive cruise control is nice I guess LoL
LOL - first off, we bought a Rubicon because we were trying to get a Gladiator as quickly as possible and it was what was available. We would have easily bought a Sport if that was all we could get. Going that route makes a lot of sense for someone who's got to work with a budge and it's what I would recommend for you. That being said, we LOVE our Rubicon for it's 4:1 transfer case, electronic sway bar disconnect, nicer interior, BIG NAV, bluetooth speaker and the fact that people actually wanted to buy our axles.
Love your truck.
A question where would I find the bung cord to your uhf handset
I think this is what you're asking about amzn.to/321mBjG
Next time use metal clothes hangers. probably some in the hotel
are you heading to the offroad park in carthdge maine?
What kind of tune do you run on your rubies, oh and do you upgrade the exhaust on your jeeps? Headers back or just cat back?
Everything is factory
Was this recorded with a cell phone?
How well does the EVO shocks n springs soak up the bumps on roads?
EVO uses King coilovers and I'm super happy with how they preform. Of course, ride quality is 100% subjective and you can dial them in however you like.
how are you liking UD60s over prorocks
Well, I've been running ProRocks for a very long time and they've always held up. I did have some doubts about the UD60 especially being they had some bracket failures when they first came out but I have to say, Dana has made a LOT of improvements and I'm really pleased with how well these axles did on the JL/JT Experience. It wasn't just our Jeep that was running them but 6 others and the odds of a failure was really high. All performed great. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
@@wayalife thats awesome i just had them intalled on my JK cant wait was running g2 core 44s but using those on a tj now great video as always
So how do you get away with no rear license plate? Is that a "just for TV only" thing?
I'd been taking it off every time we hit the trails so that I wouldn't damage it. I simply forgot to put it back on for this trip.
I redesigned the Mount Washington bumper sticker for an annual fundraiser event that we have up in New Hampshire called the White Mountain Jeep invasion.
The bumper sticker says "This Jeep Crawled Mount Washington".
If you'd like one, send me a message and I'll trade you for a WayaLife sticker.
Wait, did he say KFC ?
Poor Harris. 🤣
LOL
Why’s he fixing the exhaust while it’s running with bare hands haha
Because he's from Texas LOL
What mount are you using for your spare tire?
None. We just have the tire strapped to the top of the bed rack using a y-strap.
What is “baylon wor”
LOL
1st
Boom! 😂
Super fan of your website, and your videos here.... I do feel it necessary to say that this series has been a massive let down. It has little to no action, not much wheeling it plays like a glorified road-trip. Your commentary has been great as always, just missing the action.
Shadow 21 LOL - sorry to disappoint you. So that it isn’t missed, we don’t plan these trips, we simply attend and document them.
I know y'all don't get to plan, and I hope you didn't take my comment the wrong way. I enjoy 99% of your videos (this series being the only one I have will not/have not watched multiple time). I just want some more of the JKX days. lol
It's all good. Although, I can't say I get what you mean. I thought there was quite a bit of action on Ma Bell, Old Florida Road and especially at Field and Forest. Oh well - you win some, you lose some.
