- Day 4 of our Gladiator build was a busy one that took us down the home stretch toward its completion. To kick things off, Buddy began the long process of mouthing our new 40x13.50 Nitto Trail Grapplers onto the set of KMC Machete beadlock wheels that we had brought down with us. As he was doing that, Ricky started cycling of our King coilovers and bypass shock suspension system to maximize travel before zipping bolts on and burning everything in. With the hopes of answering a few of the questions that I'd been getting all week, I asked Mel to share some of his thoughts regarding the pros and cons of Dana UD60 axles. Working well into the night, we got the rest of our PSC ram assist steering installed, front and rear JE Reel driveshafts bolted up and our computer programmed for all the changes we've made using a Tazer Mini. Last but not least, we were able to get our Gladiator standing on his own feet again and just in time for us to head out to Jeep Bash. WOW what an awesome build. Never had an opportunity to appreciate the amount of work and detail required to have such a fantastic end finish. I concur with Scott Bocanegra ..... I have been a fan since Moby was knee hi to a set of 40’s. You and Cindy do an amazing job of promoting the brand the sport and the country. Your videos are easy to watch, entertaining and educational at the same time. This latest build is over the top Mel and his crew at EVO ROCKED IT !! I have to believe that there’s an engineer or mad scientist somewhere at Jeep who couldn’t wait for this platform to be placed on 40’s it looks so baddass!! That is one great modifications done on the gladiator. But, safety tests still needs to be done to meet all safety requirements. Other than that, your crew are doing an outstanding workmanship on modifications. Keep up the great work, and please show more of other modifications on trucks. It will be appreciated by off road enthusiasts. GREAT SHOW!

Wow.... Going to put my 2.5 lift in my JLU Sport S this week, hopefully. Not as impressive as your JT, but it will be mine and get me into places my stock JLU couldn't go before. I will be happy, but still loving watch what you do with yours! :D
What we got installed is far from what most would ever need. A 2.5" lift is a great setup and one that will take you far. Enjoy it :)

I have a JK with the UD60's, 40" Nitto's and Fox coil-overs. Only problem I've seen with the front UD60 is that you can't get sufficient positive caster for good highway handling and still have a reasonable pinion angle. They didn't allow for enough separation angle for that much lift. Otherwise they've been bulletproof. Love your videos !!!
