Hi, Thanks for your comment and we are sorry it's taken a while to get back to you. We have been really busy this last week and it's taken a while to get back on track. But we are continuously planning and have now decided on how we are going to decorate the bedroom area and we are two weeks away from the first part of the kitchen order arriving. Yikes! Anyway, glad you are enjoying the vlogs and we will catch you soon, Until then take care & best wishes, Donna, Dylan & Martin

Hi John, Finally got a moment to sit down and respond, we have been rushed off our feet this week, little of which has been doing work on the boat, but that happens sometimes so we are not worried. Ha Ha, we loved your comment about Donna's painting being 'brushed' off from her Dad - very good. Martin is preparing the boats ready for the holidaymakers to go out, this means topping up the gas, water, moving the boats around etc, it's a nice little job and the other people who work there are nice and fun to work with. It's pretty much a seasonal job so it will start to get quiet when the kids go back to school after the summer holidays. Dylan has recovered well from his wasp sting, however, he was viciously attacked by another dog earlier this week and he had to have stitches on his cheek, under his jaw and inside his mouth. It was very upsetting for us and we have been looking after our boy giving him lots of love and cuddles. Having said that his wounds are recovering nicely and we hope he will be back to his usual self very soon. The kitchen arrives in two weeks but in the meantime Martin has to start looking at the wiring so we can connect the new fridge and freezer to 12 volt supply. Anyway, you will get to see more of that once he makes a start. Hope you are keeping well John and we will catch up with you very soon, Take care Donna, Dylan & Martin
@@narrowboatnomads hi guys ,sorry to hear Dylan had been attacked by a horrible dog I hope the owners the dog pays your vet bills as they are so expensive, thank you for a lovely return comment it made my day love you all take care keep safe,John ❤️🇬🇧🐕🐕🐕🦿🦿
Hi there, Sorry for the delay in replying to your comment. Thanks for being so encouraging, it means lot to us. Sometimes unexpected things come along and halt your plans. We have had a busy week with one thing and another so we haven't done much work to the boat. Although we have been putting plans together in our heads and the result of this was some more retail therapy which you will get to see at some point in the future when we start to work on the bedroom area. Anyway, enough of us, how is your search going on for your boat - are you looking for a narrowbeam and what plans do you have once you have found what you are looking for? Look forward to catching up soon, Donna, Dylan & Martin
@@narrowboatnomads Hi sorry, I was working when I read your reply. Yes we are looking for a narrow beam, preferably cruiser stern, reverse layout, 57'-60'. We've looked at a few made an offer on one but withdrew it after the guy was very rude to Jane. It was nice inside but outside needed shot blasting back to metal, full repaint and two part epoxy on the hull. To be honest there are much better boats out there. So the search continues. We aren't in any particular rush but want to find a nice narrow boat sooner rather than later 😉. Then the Vlogging starts 🙂 take care, look forward to seeing the progress of your boat, Rod and Jane
All the best. See you when ever you get the chance. You can not do everything, especially when you have a job. Sorry about the Dillon hope he gets well soon. Still enjoying it. Look forward to seeing the new kitchen.
Hi Jayne, Thanks for your understanding and encouraging comments, it means a lot to us. Sometimes things have to be put on hold for a bit in order to get other things done but we are still planning and plodding along with little jobs. The kitchen arrives in two weeks time and Martin is going to be busy sorting out the 12 volt electric supply which we will of course video and there may be a lot of head scratching going on! Dylan has got over his wasp sting ok but unfortunately, he was attacked and injured by another dog which was a terrible and upsetting shock to us. He has been stitched up and is recovering well, but he isn't keen on going out for walks at the moment, but hopefully he will regain his confidence over the next few days. He has to wear the 'cone of shame' which is not his best look - to big him up we told him he is doing important work being a space cadet which seems to have helped :). Anyway, we hope you are well and glad you are enjoying watching. With best wishes, Donna, Dylan & Martin
Hi,I understand about changing the video format and I for one will look forward to your vids as and when.looking forward to the kitchen refit and in the meantime will see you whenever.take care.
Hi, Thanks for your comments Steve. The kitchen arrives in two weeks but in the meantime Martin will be doing some prep work to connect the white goods to the 12 volt supply. We have also planned how we want to decorate the bedroom area so have been doing a little bit more shopping to start getting that organised. Not sure where we are going to put everything that arrives - it's going to be an interesting challenge - but we will keep on smiling and it will all be worth it when it's finished. Hope you are well and we hope our next vlog will be out very soon, Best wishes Donna, Dylan & Martin
Good decision, quality far outweighs quantity, so keep up your very refreshing vlogs 👍👍👍👍
