Hey Taku, you guys should search for owner financed land. There's land for sale everywhere, and you can pay it off with no banks involved within a few years. Look for the ones that have no restrictions on building, RV's or tiny homes. You could build a small place, cozy but easy to leave behind for a few months at a time. And you don't have to stress about huge mortgage payments when you're traveling. Maybe find a place near a fishy river, so you can fish and learn to hunt. Then you don't need animals, just veggies and some fruit trees.
More coastal foraging, especially different types of seaweed and salad recipes.

Jocelyn you are so right....right now we have 6 cats and 2 dogs. we have raised 3 deer, a racoon, a goose and a squirrel. Our kids had the best life on our land. We are still her and we still Travel.

Well, if you're asking for 2 cents, here's mine! I would like to see more wild food foraging and cooking shows. Like, visit different areas, at different times of the year, like yall have, but do more wild food foraging in each area, along with fishing, and all types of seafood, but cook with the foods you have foraged.
Wherever you settle, just give us more costal foraging on the channel. It's been too long. Love this kind of content. Keep at it.
Taku, your business model is based on Hunter, gatherer, and fishing. It's a big decision your marketplace may generate enough income that would allow you to do as you desire. Best wishes in whatever you choose to do.

I think My parents had an amazing and rewarding life. They owned and operated a fly in hunting and fishing outpost camp in northern Quebec. When off season came around they traveled. Probably one of the original van travellers. They 7:00 most did the southern states. The beauty of doing tourism is the people you meet and the connections you make.
With your skills set and interests I wonder if you would benefit from buying a live abroad boat big enough to have guests interested in foraging the sea and fishing. Park it in off season and continue traveling and writing about your experiences.

It's such a catch .22 getting our first house was epic but it definitely gets harder to travel you could try work with another couple to help look after animals and still film content etc
Also it's both the oils along with carbohydrates that helps chips burn so well and the powder on the surface has high surface area to fuel ratio 😅 fun fact food powder manufacturers are high risk for explosions, a lot of fire safety and static electricity reduction etc in the plants

My family got a few acres along the Mendocino coastline in the 80s. Close enough to SF/SJ for business but far enough to relax and forget about the world. Definitely recommend!

I live in Washington. We are starting the homestead thing on the coast. You've been to Neah Bay. The areas further east of Neah Bay like Port Townshend, Sequim, and Port Angeles are in the rain shadow aka they get less rain/more sun than the rest of western Washington. They are centrally located to the Straight of Juan De Fuca (diving, rock fish, foraging, salmon etc.), the raw WA coast south of Neah Bay, rainforest, and not too far from Seattle. We would have preferred to be there but are happy where we are. Peace to you.

Here’s my opinion, I’m a long haul trucker and have been for 16 years,I’ve watched most of your videos and what I would like to see is if you could do a road trip around the country fishing around the country and camping as well. That’s just my personal opinion anyway keep doing what you’re doing my friend.

Love the adventures been great to watch. I have always wanted land near the coast with a big shop with a living quarters in it so you can lock up your van if you go out of country but still have a home and a huge garden.😁 👍
