This turned me off to the church as this is the behavior that one could expect, in the ‘world’ but many of us who were in the church then expected disciplers to have a higher morale compass. Weren’t we wrong! I’m sure that some of the disciples who did trash like this had their own selfish agenda. It harmed one’s view of what friendships/brotherhood/sisterhood actually means. The manipulation and self-aggrandizement was next level!
Yo! This situation made me so mad, LOL, from how the DP was listening to him all this time and said nothing. This same guy is the go-between [or dating agent] is ALSO the same guy who is interested in - and pursuing- the exact same sister! That was grimy and foul. In the "real world' that is called 1) unethical and 2) conflict of interest. As bummer as it was, I agree with giving props to your DP who told you upfront he liked the sister, too.

Hey ik this is a little random but I'm 20 yo. I've been a member of the Fresno ICC for 2 and a half months (campus ministry) and I just decided to exit yesterday. I would love it if we could get in contact somehow because tbh I'm kinda overwhelmed. I still respect all the brothers and sisters and I think there's something special at ICC but some stuff didn't sit right with me. Thank you for your videos btw
I think a lot of members on those meme pages were not familiar with meme or Internet culture. There would be huge amounts of backlash for memes that were tame. I think many ICOC members were not prepared for that amount of internet culture exposure.
27:59 represents the culture of the church....devoid of empathy and humanity. They do laugh at men's pain and I hate the whole "if your motivation was pure" nonsense that always gets used. [Insert foul thing done to you here] always comes down to, well, if you're doing it "for God". Similar to why you should be at church, It shouldn't be for people, friendships, or community. It's for God. Look, not sure if I would throw hands, but I sure would pretend I didn't see it if he did. Bitter in these knuckles, lol! Actually, I believe that "bitterness" comes from bottling it up and not being allowed to feel your human feelings in the first place.
