I'm really starting to appreciate these old work horses. Thanks Squach.
Old Cat was a technology marvel in its day. Twenty five years before was still the horse drawn era.
Sure would have liked to hear this one running to compare to your RD6. Looks like a neat show.
very cool machines. I like the level of detail you put into explaining every machine.
I'm always happy when I see a notification from you. Thanks for the awesome walk around
Nothing looks more awesome to me than the old cable machines. 👍 Great video Squatch!
Oh, my. I'm definitely drooling. Gorgeous CAT.
These walk rounds are a really good series of videos 👍💪💪
I think the reverse forward shifter. Started in 50s
Thank you for the video. Glad you went to the Albany show and are sharing it with us.I like machinery shows but have only went to ag shows.
Watching and enjoying! I can't wait for my ACMOC publications to show up! Looking forward to finding some of the scale models to collect.

Solid machines, no doubt. Do you know when Caterpillar went from grey and red lettering to their iconic yellow color? Thanks for sharing! 🚜👍
Thanks Squatch! Don’t see too many of the gray and red Caterpillars.
Great video as usual, so interesting. Nice to see a Fendt Tractor in the background, seems unusual in the U.S.A.?
When did they come out with the Shuttle shift?
Thanks
What is the biggest size Cat. you would ever be interested in owning?
What's the bigger machine to the RD7's left?
@@squatch253 Ah! I'm no expert, but I had *guessed* a D8 from its comparative size.
I know where you can get one like this
