Poor refereeing! A low blow affected him & I was expecting some kind of protest from him or his corner but none came. Why does a Tyson Fury's fight not be stopped prematurely but a Tetteh's fight be stopped? I don't get it! Something is not right! If it is a fight, then let the men fight!

Dubois is a great prospect, hard puncher and well schooled. But giving him the 369th ranked heavyweight in the world shows us NOTHING. step him up to European level
Winning the commonwealth regardless of who against is a stepping stone. His hardest and best learning fight to date was against Larty who was ranked in the 300's aswell. He's young he's gaining experience every fight. Why rush?

Darshan Desai...Everybody lines up with their hands out. Everybody takes a cut . I don’t think a night like this generates a fortune. The point is Tetteh isn’t getting anywhere near 40k and the ref isn’t going to let him take a proper beating just to entertain a few fans. When he’s had enough the fight is stopped and he moves on to his next fight and Dubois chalks up another win. Fans get frustrated when the ref prevents a knockout but sometimes they are only getting paid a few hundred £ and it’s not worth it.

Hes just getting rounds in but take nothing away from Dubois, his speed has increased, I'm looking forward to the next few years watching this guy, another fighter for wilder an fury to duck 😅

Easy fight for him but it's clear to see Dubois has got a game plan and ability to go with it. He takes big risks when both fighters exchange but he always follows up and puts good combinations together at the right time, and he's got great power, great jab and looks to control the ring. 2 years from now Dubois will be either Champion or the top contender against any heavyweight. He's definitely got a Mike Tyson energy about his style and he looks naturally able to fight and box too. Respect to Dubois!
I agree ddd seasoning nicely hes 100% going to be mixing it with the best in a couple of years only thing im not sure about is whether his chin is good enough to be risking leaving himself open in those exchanges.

I agree that DDD looks better than most as far as prospects go, but if he gets tossed in with Parker, Whyte, Ortiz, AJ, Wilder, Ruiz, Fury, or a top guy like that DDD would most likely be in WAYYY over his head that soon. Give him a few more years and he might be able to smash most of them. But he needs rounds and experience for now

October 4th If Daniel keeps on having training-like fights waiting for him to be "ready", then the top boxers will become too old to be a real match for him. I'd give him no more than 1.5 years to get to fight much higher ranked boxers, and up to 2 years to be defying World Champions.
Can't go from Gorman to this man. Dubois needs to step up the opponents because he needs to start building momentum and making people believe he is a real challenger to all the guys at the top. No more easy fights

Really like Dan and I've watched him since his debut pro fight, so excited about his potential - however I am concerned about the fact that he consistently sets up finishes with what I would deem to be below the belt left-hand work. His win v Cojanu was the same, very similar finish i.e. massive low blows with the left to set up a right finish.
Yeah, the ref wasn't positioned to see it of course, which may have been his cue. Disappointing to see, but great otherwise.
@@islamisrightaboutwomen8611 Agreed. At a higher level, he'll get penalised for those type of shots. Hopefully he can clean the placement of those shots up a bit. The prospect of a Dubois left-hand to the liver is a frightening prospect. He's got the power, hopefully technical finesse and flair will come with more experience.

According to Dubois himself, he’s admitted on record that (the clip is on youtube), he’s knocked AJ down in sparring before. Not to mention that his build may be a little better than AJ’s; he has more of a broad chest & shoulders, & so can potentially generate more force with the leverage in his punches.

Dubois is a great prospect, he really needs to be put in againt better quality opponents, I know he shouldn't be rushed but in order to raise his game he needs better opponents
this is just a fight because he wants to fight at this time to keep sharp. He probably WOULD have fought anyone. The guy stepped up, just like Ruiz stepped up for Joshua. Different levels sure but to fight this frequently there has to be a few journeymen and a few who get called on short notice.
Joshua and fury have the same mentality but they are now 30 years old,, at the top and down to 1 or fights a year. But they WILL fight schwarz or Ruiz (lol) rather than change their meticulous schedules
