The real hero of this movie is Pepsi. It was the Pepsi sign that killed the villain. So, here is a thought. An AI chatbox was asked, "If Pepsi created a Spiderman movie without Spiderman that focused on minor characters and featured dialogue and a plot created in the style of a fourth grader, what would the screenplay be like?"
That sounds extremely probable when you put it that way. Except one thing….I believe it was in the style of a 2nd grader. An intelligent 2nd grader, but still a 2nd grader.
Yes, I wonder what happens to this film if you remove the spider stuff?
A woman saves three potential victims of a serial killer who sees them on a train. She is fated to do so, thus drawing the attention of the killer upon herself. They battle throughout the film, her thwarting him at each turn. In a final battle she is able to delay his escape until the Police arrive and arrest him. He does not die but goes to prison for his crimes.
Could that have turned out better?
Not a comic book film, but a quasi-psychic horror film involving an ordinary person who is able to do extraordinary things to stop a killer. Only she does not stop him, and he is released from prison in time for a sequel. The girls she has saved are in danger again, and so is she.
You just described an infinitely more entertaining film than what Sony put out and one I'd actually want to go see 🤣 Some inference to psychic abilities crossed with films like "Kiss The Girls" and ironically "Along Came A Spider". Give it a Twins Peak feel. I'd sign up for that movie in a heartbeat.

@@taejasper1343 Actually, Marvel fought against this movie coming out. Thats a fact. Sony had full control and ownership, that’s why Marvel wouldn’t let them use anyone or any references from the MCU. But you are correct, Feige said on camera Marvel would shortly have more female than male heroes.

I just saw a RUclips commercial for its digital release. That is one quick turnaround 😂 My sister has a PhD in Film & Media and teaches it at University. Her and her husband saw it in the theater last night. I’m eagerly awaiting her review, as a female 35 year old, comic/pop culture fan. I’m guessing I’ll get a GIF of a dumpster fire as her review

@@master2uall88 Save yourself the pain and misery. Madame Web at least made me laugh a few times at how bad it was. The Marvels is just painful to watch.
@@ThePaladinJock I watched the Marvel's first and then Madame Webb and you are correct they are both atrocious pieces of shit but I did notice one thing that connects both movies the small one engine airplane that Madame Webb uses to get to Peru Forest is the same one engine airplane that Captain Marvel and Mrs Marvel climbed into at the end of the movie LOL I guess both of those planes were headed to the same destination and that is the bottom of the Heap of shit movies ever

I sure hope so. I wouldn’t mind going somewhat back to the old days. Big names, quality production and then throw in some lesser names here and there. No more of this “throw everything at the wall” and hope it sticks. Echo, Wonder Man, IronHeart, Hawkeye, The Marvels. There is no actual market asking for this crap.
