@@thechairmangames They are really fun. The only thing I do wanna ask is why did you keep the PU’s with Savoy and Passau when they were not part of the tree? Were the peace demands of Castille too high with the Savoy war so the same would’ve happened for Passau too if anyone declared?
Awesome video! Having taken a break from EU4 for about a year and inspired by this series, I recently did an Austria campaign (mission tree only… kinda…) and I quite literally had the most successful campaign ever - formed Rome for the first time ever and got the Mare Nostrum and A.E.I.O.U. achievements. Love your videos and can’t wait for the next one!
Hope you end up doing the French Mission tree, since it's the only one that has special features and mission for going Revolutionnary, which is something almost never shown on youtube
I like your playstyle. Its a chill game with not that much blobbing. Tip for future playthroughs: Riga as a subject is amazing early game. Just make sure zu develop the province a bit and be at 3 stab when releasing as a vassal
One thing -- going noble King (get diffrent branch missions) --- dismantle HRE (what you can do ~1450 in first war wuth Hungary) --- this change missin reward and Polnad will get claims on every german province (+ claims on Lithuania provinces) not only on Lithuania provinces after becoming Empire / 1'000 dev. Second --- if you wait with mission "University of Krakow" after getting universities you would get 5 gov reform from each university.
Raise the noble host is an interesting mission, the more seats you give to your sejm, the more manpower it will give you, additionally i am not sure but it seemed to increase over time, so you can save it for later and get like 30-50k manpower for free
My favourite strategy is: 1)Take alliance with burgundy day 1 by insulting their rivals or getting diplo guy and start improving relations with papacy 2)Use the rest of your diplomats to improve relations with HRE electors (the ones that have some other electrrs as their rivals so you can ally them all) 3)Wait for event, i prefere taking 6/6/6 king 4)Ally bohemia and alt +f4 until you get free union on them 5)attack wallachia, annex them and release, quickly improve their province 3 times for mission and get claims on ottomans 6)now, either you ally all the electors, attack hungary in 1449 (who often have austria as an ally) and dismantle HRE just a few years into the game or attack ottomans and crush them early You end up with subjects: -bohemia -mazovia -wallachia -moldavia 6/6/6 king NO HRE Easy path to destroy ottomans
additionally, once you dissolve HRE, burgundy can expan like crazy and you can get them for free too and it is even better because they will be much bigger !
IMO, Espionage-Influence is the best idea opener. Espionage purely for the AE reduction, combined with the half cost subject transfer age ability (along with any other AE modifiers you can pick up). You can rip Sweden, then Norway from Denmark, PU Hungary, Lithuania, and if you help Austria PU Bohemia, then PU them yourself, you get both. That makes it easy to do Bulg+Byz on Ottomans (at any point, tbh) and you can release Novgorod to eat Muscovy (if you don't wanna let them form Russia first). It is entirely possible to vassalize all of Scandinavia, Romania, Hungary, the southern Balkans, Naples (if you can get a claim or yoink it off someone else) OR Provence, and Burgundy. You can even pick up Austria, too, if you're lucky enough. I even had one game where I bounced straight down to Spain and stole Aragon off of Castile, after ripping Provence off with a no CB on a single province to reconquer parts of France and claim Naples. Think I ended that run in ~30 years because I'd already pretty much won. Still, Austria is, somehow, even stronger, lol.
Next time we do the Mammerjammers!
The chance of Bohemia choosing to become your junior partner is 5% iirc, and you can make it 10% if you completed either diplo or influence ideas.
oh kurwa, we are so back
Hopefully you do the Trebizond mission tree one day. I love that you actually do these videos to see what Paradox tries to intend for players to do.
After these next couple nations I'm onto the DLC nations. I'm glad you enjoy these!

I think the goods produced from furnaces are global. It'll show up in the goods produced section in the trade tab.
Developing Ruthenia Mission will allow you to form the PLC much earlier than Admin tech 10

That's awesome! Glad you were able to get back into it and have one of the best runs!
56:55 It actually increases goods produced in your whole nation.
wow now that was a serious campaign! Well done. Love the series.
PLC should have missions to own North Germany and over time the region will become Slavic restoring Polabian cultures.
That only has sense if you choose the HRE path, if you choose the PU with Lithuania your priorities would be in the balkans and russia.

Awesome video. 20k troops ottomans with no manpower is such blessed rng too 😂

A lovely long one today
I think furnaces give the goods produced for the entire country, not just the state or province.
Exactly, +5% global goods produced
venice would be really cool to see after the awesome missions they got in 1.37
"pretty recently" it was 2 years ago now 😭😭😭😭
In my case Wallachia allies byzantium and osman. What to do ?
That's the biggest Mughals I've ever seen
Sejm = Seym
