This is a REALLY good video on printable HTV. I wish this was around when I was first learning because it really addresses everything you need to know. Well done!
I am a newbie just starting out green with this and so far your tutorials are spot on, quick and to the point. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge!
and thank you for clarifying about the mask! I was wondering if I actually needed it or not. I also would have bought both light and dark. A facebook friend recommended the 651 vinyl company to me but she is so busy and had not responded about all of these questions that I had. You cleared up a ton for me! was surprised since your video is pretty short, but you nailed every detail and were straight to the point. Appreciated that! #subscribed
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!! I have been looking for clear directions from start to finish on how to do a printable heat transfer and I finally found it. I will be trying this out.
Love how you explained each step in your video. from getting the design to printing to cutting to heat transfer. other videos I saw, would just skip the cutting process and make me wonder how they did it.
Fabulous just what I needed to see as I am planing on making a T shirt for myself and I had no clue what to do with the printable HTV. Thanks for sharing :)
There is no specific t-shirt needed for this material? I am wondering if a specific type of t-shirt needed to make this work. This video is so helpful thanks so much
Hi Kayla Thanks so much for this ! I have been trying to do a print and cut on the cricut but it is not cutting my image. 2 registration boxes come out and it cuts around the biggest but leaves the one another smaller around the image which then transfers to the shirt
The color was different because it is meant for darker paper so it would appear brighter against darker colors. I think you would have achieved the color with the one meant for lighter clothes but either way very informative thank you!!! I’m definitely trying this brand it looks incredibly easy to use ❤️🙏🏼
Did you do an updated video on how this washed up? I looked in your list and can’t find it. I’d love to know how this vinyl stood up to regular washing. I’m on the hunt for the best printable vinyl. Thanks in advanced. 😊
Thanks for sharing I just received my order from 651 vinyl and am scared yo try it lol u have me what I needed to pull up my big girl pants and just do it thanks again God Bless!!!
Rebecca Sobczynski lol!!!! I’m glad it gave you some encouragement to try it out! :) I feel like that with so many of my cricut projects before I attempt it!
Hi there. Great video. i am just discovering transfer vinyl for printing. Do I require an inkjet printer? I have a Laser. Also how does the printer know it's vinyl? I do not see any settings for vinyl or sticker paper. etc. can you advise? Thanks. How did it wash and wear afterwards? What brand of transfer vinyl do you use these days please? Thanks soo much!
Very helpful tutorial! Thank you so much! Does your printer have original ink or you converted it to sublimation ink? It will be very helpful if you are able to reply. God bless you!💕
Sorry on some older videos I don't always see comments and I was just going through a lot! I'm sure this won't be too helpful to you now but it started to crack a little after quite a bit of washing. I'm thinking it is because I used the Cricut Easy Press. 651 Vinyl recommends a heat press so I want to give this another try with my heat press and see if that helps! Otherwise I will try a different brand. Have you tried it out?
Kayla's Cricut Creations hi I recently bought a cricut maker. I was wondering if you ended up like this paper or recommended another? Also where do you prefer to buy your products! Thank you! ❣️
Thank you for sharing I have star craft vinly for some reason I can't get it to work but have used in the pass watching you I now know I didn't have the right temp
I know this video is old but I wondering if you know if you can put heat transfer vinyl on top of this. Like for example instead of the unicorn I have a plain leopard print patch, could I hear press vinyl letters on top or would that ruin the picture?
Hi im watching this a year later but I hope you figured out that the HTV paper you used was actually for dark shirts like black or navy which is why it came out a bit darker after you heat pressed it. If you wanted to use for white or light shirts you'd want to get the htv for light material
Hi!! I know I’m coming across this video a long time since being posted but, I it might help me. I am having issues with using the transfer paper and washing the shirts. My shirts the colors keep bleeding everywhere could I have done something wrong?

Great video! im noticing im having trouble with my cricut just cutting the image itself it keeps cutting a small box around the image lol! Do you know what im doing wrong?

I love this video you are so to the point and no useless chat that doesn't matter
Thank you I'm following you everywhere
I appreciate your video! Straight to the pointed and detailed .
Best print & cut video I've seen thus far. you made it simple. thank you!
This answered ALL of my questions! Thank you!
Thank you I’ve always been so confused how they get the image to on the cricut to match the printer then cut. You made this make sense!
Great tutorial and appreciate you keeping your video simple and straight to the point.

Best tutorial EVER!!! Thank you
Can you please do a wash test for this and does it hold up for a long time? Thank you!
So did it hold up after washing? I can’t find the update video
Wow is all I can say!! You explained is so well, thank you sooo much!!!

Did you ever do the 'wash' video? Just wondering how this Starcraft washed. If you did can you please provide the link?

Thanks for the video!

I was wondering too!

Same here
Me too! I used a printable iron on for light and it looks awful. So I plan on getting iron on for dark & See if that makes a difference.
@@katieguzzo7560 did you try the iron for dark?
Very creative work. Can I use Heat transfer vinyl on other materials or only Fabric. I have pack of Vinyl Panda HTV that I bought on Amazon
This is a wonderful tutorial, I'm going to try it. Do you have a template for your "Check your settings" I like that as well.
Actually Liked This Video 👍🏾! Good Job
Vinyl or iron-on setting on the Cricut is not working for my transfer paper ☹️ it keeps tearing it.
Pretty!! Did you use regular ink?
Shoot, my Epson printer doesn't have a rear tray. Do you think this is a deal breaker for this transfer product you are using?
Do you have a video using the heat transfer mask?
Thanks for sharing I just received my order from 651 vinyl and am scared yo try it lol u have me what I needed to pull up my big girl pants and just do it thanks again God Bless!!!
Rebecca Sobczynski lol!!!! I’m glad it gave you some encouragement to try it out! :) I feel like that with so many of my cricut projects before I attempt it!
Thanks for much for making this and being so helpful!
I like your "Check your settings" reminder!! I think I will add that too LOL I am like that and need all the help I can get :-P
Also if you set your cricut dial to custom then you will always get the prompt to choose material
Hi! Great video! How does it do with being stretch? Is the unicorn still good, as far as no cracking and peeling, if the shirt is being stretched?
How do you cut it of you have the newer Cricut?
Very informative and helpful! Tfs and God Bless 💜

When did u put the masking thing on?
Do you absolutely need to the cutter or can you use scissors
How does the heat transfer stretch? Is it good for form fitting workout gear?
Great tutorial - thank you !! I just wish that download was still available, but I will find something else :)
Can you layer the printable iron on material on top of cricut iron on vinyl? Thank you!
Did you ever make a follow up video to see how it washed out?
So is the Ink that come with the printer the same ink used for printable htv or is it sublimation I'm a tad confused
Very helpful tutorial! Thank you so much!
Does your printer have original ink or you converted it to sublimation ink? It will be very helpful if you are able to reply. God bless you!💕

What kind of ink for this transfer paper ? Please help.
How do I cut my image with heat transfer paper on my cricut explore 2? Because it's not working for me
Thank you for sharing I have star craft vinly for some reason I can't get it to work but have used in the pass watching you I now know I didn't have the right temp
Tina Altenau this material is tougher to use with the easy press. Hopefully if you try it again with the right temp and enough pressure it’ll work! :)
Perfect Tutorial!!!!
Jest a question Can I print photos on the transfer?
How do you decide to leave bleed on or off?
I know this video is old but I wondering if you know if you can put heat transfer vinyl on top of this. Like for example instead of the unicorn I have a plain leopard print patch, could I hear press vinyl letters on top or would that ruin the picture?
Hi what brand of printable heat transfer are you using ?
excellent, just what I was looking for. thank you
Does it matter what ink you use in your printer? Does it have to be specific?
Did you convert your printer to a sublimation ink or did you just use regular ink?
Hi! I just used regular ink for my inkjet printer for the printable vinyl. I hope that helps! :)
@@KaylasCricutCreations what type ink does your printer use? Thks!

Using cricut iron on vinyl do I print on glossy side or or mat side
Hi!! I know I’m coming across this video a long time since being posted but, I it might help me. I am having issues with using the transfer paper and washing the shirts. My shirts the colors keep bleeding everywhere could I have done something wrong?
so you lay printed design , print side up on items before heat pressing ?
Great video!! Do you have to have a svg or png for the printable vinyl or can you Google a image and print it out?
Hello, I'm wondering if this held up after washing several times? I want to buy this material for my sister's birthday shirts.
Hi! It started to crack a little after quite a bit of washing. I'm thinking its' because I used the Cricut Easy Press. 651 Vinyl recommends a heat press so I want to give this another try with my heat press and see if that helps! Otherwise I will try a different brand.
Is this sublimation ink or normal ink?
Do you have an update on using the material like u said at the end?
Hey do you think i can use this with my hp officejet 8035 printer? Also does this need an special ink?
Where do you buy the tshirts?
If I wanted to add a glitter coat to the unicorn, would I just use spray on fabric glitter?
This was SO helpful! Thank you !!
Do we use the shiney side up or matte side up of parchment paper while heat transferring?
Thank you for explaining step by step .
Does ur printer get connected to the printer somehow? Why hit print on the cricut when it’s not printing from the cricut
My cricut cut my paper how can I do ?? Please help 😞
Is this vinyl the same as using heat transfer sheets like the Avery brand?
did you upload the video after washing I was not able to find on your channel ?

I have seen that paper. how to print??? with normal ink or sublimation ink??? I have my Epson F150 printer which is a dye sublimation printer. It works???
Is it regular inkjet ink? I went through all of the comments and don’t see that this was ever answered
So I presume you use normal ink?? I usually use sublimation but would like to try vinyl too
You were so helpful and suscribed
This is so helpful! Thank you!!
Great video! im noticing im having trouble with my cricut just cutting the image itself it keeps cutting a small box around the image lol! Do you know what im doing wrong?
does the printable htv like fuse into the shirt?, or does it just sit on top of it. I hope this question makes sense but i'm sure to subscribe!
What type of printer is being used?
Hello I was wondering how the durability was after washing it a few times?
What color of material do you use. White???
This was soooo helpful! Thank you for sharing, I think I have more confidence now doing this on my own.
which printer do you use?
Is the registration lines the black box you added around ?
The black box (registration line) automatically gets added to a print then cut image.
Thank you for sharing!
I wonder if it is Vinyl flex and it won't get removed after washing bcz flex doesn't get removed ?
