Thank you Tracie❣️ I've searched through tons of recipes to find the perfect Red velvet cake and yours is it❤ making it today. Will keep you posted on the turnout.
My Mother, who is no longer with me, made a Cream Cheese Frosting when I was a kid. It tasted great! I've been searching for that taste ever since. It tasted on the side of, somewhat, sour as it sat on your taste buds. It did not taste overly sweet as having lot of sugar. Your recipe might be as close to tasting like hers more than other's I have come across. Most say to add around 4 cups of powdered sugar. Any thoughts on what she might have done? Thank you for sharing.
Oh that is so sweet 🥰 and thank you for sharing about your dear mother. Yes, try adding less sugar and you may be able to achieve the taste you are looking for. I pray you find it 🤗💗

Greetings 🙏🏽. Do you sift your powdered sugar once it's measured or do you use it as is? Is there a preference? Thank you😊
Hi, no- I do not sift my flour. I may start trying that but as it stands right now I never do 👍🏽
Looks delicious! When using cream cheese frosting do you store your red velvet cake room temp or in fridge?
Both! First 2 days out in a cool place- and then afterwards it’s best in the refrigerator 👍🏽
Thank you so much!
