I know right. I was thinking while watching it “wow! If only all these military power could best out los narcos and how much better Mexico can be” cause it can! CNDH (human rights) always charges the soldiers whenever there's a confrontation and they killed several criminals for "violation of human rights" "excessive force", and shit. I've been in the middle of 2 shootings and heard one outside my neightborhood (I live in Nuevo León, a state that has frontier with usa and was a main rute for drug traffic) One was a cartel vs federal police (I think an officer was killed and 3 criminals killed and a few captured), but the other two were against soldiers. In the second were 1 soldier hurt, 4 criminals killed (cartel attacked by surprise) And the other was controversial, because the news said 0 soldiers down and 2 criminals killed, but later was revealed that it wasnt true. Soldiers had actually killed 10+ criminals, and Im prove it's true lol, it was a bit traumatic cuz clearly saw how soldiers went full out mode and the criminals were falling like dolls. The soldiers took the bodies up in the truck and leaved. Let's hope this war ends one day

I had the good luck of being in that parade twice. I was a marine in the navy. The preparation for the parade takes months and it's very hard, but after you finish the parade you feel so good. We used to have pictures with the people all the time. I miss the drums and the trumpets, the sounds shakes your heart.

They have one of the must lethal special forces of the world and now they are already building ships for the Navy, assault rifles, mini thanks. Mini guns, missils, and many more things every year
I haven't been in Mexico since I was in 4th grade. I remember doing a parade for 5 de mayo in puebla and it was a honor to me to participate. I'm a dreamer but the difference between me and other dreamers is I do love the US, it's a place I grew up mostly my whole life. Yes. I have had bad experience just like I would in any country. But I do not feel like I belong here like most kids that were brought up here when they were little. I proud to be Mexican, I have never felt embarrassed o ashamed to be one. I'm thankful to this country but I am blessed to be born in my beautiful Mexico that I know one day I will be back and experience all of this with my people.
