Since the Hsu's aren't coming back i'll cop 2 pairs
The HSU G6s were my first skate shoe and I miss those bad boys every day but these will defiantly help patch the wound

Good looking shoe ! Emerica has always come with the great idea, i love how they make the breatheability of this shoe, it does really make sense on the mid top model. Just that the insole, i think it’s time for them to starting to use the g6 plus insole, for people who having the deep foot arc on their feet (like me) i think g6 plus help a lot in order to have a snug feet and full support on my feet. Hoping that emerica would introduce more g6 plus on their upcoming model. Keep making the good shoes ! much love and support from Malaysia 🙌

bro get some footprint insoles, a bit costly sure but I can not go back to stock insoles. They're beyond amazing. Try out one of the 30 dollar insoles first to see how they feel, hell even the 25 dollar one, and you'll know exactly why people love them. You can even get ones with custom arch support, don't sleep on them.

What I like about STI shoes is that the features make sense. No bullshit gimmicks like some brands do
es kinda over did the trendy chunky look
Deff comfortable the double wrap im nota big fan of the lasted me 9days of hard skating and hard flips treflips fronside flips etc the shoe held up well its kind of clownshoe ish on the board very odd board feel. But for looks and comfort the 5 of 5 for skating say 3 of 5 jus bc so odd
i love Emerica's but the new desert grip gets full of pebbles instantly then scratches your grip and feels annoying as fuck
Sole has no durability. Otherwise an indestructible shoe, feels very sturdy, but the sole is showing signs of significant damage just after a few weeks of skating. You can repair the top of the shoe, but once the sole is gone, it's pretty much time for a new shoe. A good skate shoe with a bad sole is a bad skate shoe. This is a great shoe, it's beautiful and comfortable, it's just not a skate shoe if it's going to break down that easily.
Pretty much all Emerica vulcs with the combo triangle tread and desert grip have had problems with sole durability. Mostly, I’ve seen sole delamination.
All around best skate shoe the leather creature edition are undefeated

If they’re anything like the Hsu’s, the cheap ass glue will have the sole coming apart from the upper after half a sesh. Emerica’s look really good BUT they’re so cheaply made that they aren’t worth the price you pay
They're even better than the Hsu's and we have created better quality products in the last couple years.
I’ll take your word for it, I was just very disappointed. I remember being like 15 year old me, and being excited for the HSUs and my local shop at the time had gotten them in. Got a pair and they started coming apart at the soles before I even broke them, I was crushed. Maybe I was too harsh initially but that whole situation with those had deterred me from going back to the E. Maybe I’ll get another pair and see if how it goes

Fit half a size large compared to the original Hsu. Go down a half size from Vans.
