Balochistan, Pakistan | JHAL MAGSI Guide: What to See & Do

- Aside from its famous Jhal Magsi Desert Challenge Rally Race, this area of Balochistan may not be on your travel radar but it should be. The lands are rugged and breathtaking and Jhal Magsi's historic sites are very pretty (although in need of restoration and protection). Come along as I travel by road as a solo female traveller from Lasbella to Jhal Magsi. We'll visit the colourful and chilled Moola River, Jhal City, two mosques in the village of Fateh Pur, and the oldest part of Jhal Magsi at Khanpur Fort. This region has been cared for and watched over by my friend's Amer and Nadir Magsi and their family for over 600 years and it has been truly interesting learning about modern-day tribal life in Pakistan during this journey.

As far as I know, this part of the goat is chopped up and cooked with other offal and served in street restaurants. It’s a delicacy and people love it - I reserve my opinion. It’s supposed to be delicious!

All of the old buildings are in very bad shape. I feel sorry for the tomb of Nadir's GGGGG Grandfather. Nadir Khan Magsi should start restoring them. He is Sardar of his tribe. I also belong to a Noble Family from Luknow, India. All my ancestors are buried in India. My dad migrated to Pakistan in 1947. I was born in Karachi. If my dad prefer to stay in India then I would be responsible of every thing. Taking care of my villages and its people, my ancestor Land and all the historic buildings and Haveli, Graves etc. Sorry for my emotional speech. This is how I feel after watching your video.

At 13:35 when you were inside the mosque, you should not have wearing your footwear.
I quite literally spoke about the reason why ... did you hear that part?
@@AngelaCarson I heard it and it was understandable that you were wearing footwear when you were outside and there was no shade on the floor but inside the mosque there was shade and the floor must not be so hot at that time.
@@SyedArbabAhmed @SA A it was rock and gravel and dirt mostly ... it's not a maintained site. I am VERY respectful and did not enter the tomb earlier in the video because it was too hot. But this was heat + dirt + rocks ... and it's an abandoned mosque, not in use. I would wear my shoes in there again if I returned, I'm sorry ... it's not suitable for bare feet throughout the entire thing and I like to shoot video all around. :-( Apologies if you feel offended
