It was so cool to see a longer video, and to see the landscape behind the ridge. So lush and vibrant, it almost looked like a model! As always, thank-you for putting these up.
Thanks for always watching and commenting on my video :) Gopro never lasts long on these longer flights. This was a 1.5 hour flight. I would imagine it gets a little boring watching after a while, no?
Thanks, Mike! Ridge soaring is actually easy, once you can handle the stronger conditions. The lift is pretty much guaranteed, so you can stay up for as long as the wind keeps blowing.

@@yoshidragonaga No, not boring. I do really enjoy the way you are just, well, hanging above the earth. It's a joy to get to go along for the ride.
@@yoshidragonaga I agree. I have yet to see a hang gliding video that is "too long".
Great view! It has been way too long since I flew LOMFP! Beings back the great memories! Hangintheair!
Come back! There's still a very active and vibrant HG community at Lookout!
Such a beautiful ridge. We owe a lot to Matt for securing this site all those years ago.
Agreed!
Nice ridge soaring...hope ya greased the landing!👍👍👍
Awesome flight Mie. I would love to do that someday.
Thanks, Ray! I hope you can get back in the air soon 💙
I grew up watching hang gliders on Grandfather Mountain, NC but it ended a long time ago. I would love to see you at Lookout Mountain.
Wish they still flew at Grandfather Mt. It's not far from where I live. I heard KHK is having a hang gliding event there this summer!
@@yoshidragonaga I did not know that, thanks for the info! I am going to Grandfather for the Highland Games so I will look it up.

So fun to watch this! Who was that you greeted at 9:26? and was that Don with the Moyes glider below you earlier?
You were up there with me, silly!! I'm pretty sure I yelled out to you! :D
Not sure who the other pilots were....
@@yoshidragonaga oh😀👍 that’s cool 😎
First I thought he had an equipment malfunction. Turned out to be a very cool cot.
Ha! That's hilarious.
It's a flying cot!
I"m a girl, btw :)
Wow! You make this look easy, and I know it is not!
