Is anyone else upset that the parents didn’t get the root canal for her but as soon as her younger sibling needed one they were completely on board with paying for a root canal?

I had this happen before twice. My family just had bad teeth but please brush your teeth Incase anything was to happen. I had to have 3 teeth removed and it wasn’t fun. Luckily I was around 7-9 so I don’t remember much other than it was really painful.

I brushed my teeth every night and I had 3 cavities on top left in a row (a month or 2 ago) ( dentist said it could be from like tucking candy like skittles and sucking on them or cough drops (I kinda liked cough drops they relax me but I haven’t had 1 since))
But I got 2 filled then 1 next appointment. It was the worst pls don’t get cavity’s and brush 😭😭 I don’t brush in morning but I make sure to brush good at night.. the feeling of the drill is painful in a way idk how to explain it honestly it just wasn’t a good experience after school qoq

Where do ya'll live? I'm from Belgium and had to have a root canal years ago. About 80% was paid by healthcare. I think I paid 100 - something euros.
Some procedures are paid back almost 100% even. But only if you go to the dentist for a check-up every year.

I had a partial, but I was told a year and a half ago I need a full one. My medical issues are piling up 😞 It's hard when you have been meaning to see the gyno, neurologist, such and such. I have a migraine disorder and think I have endometriosis. I was hit by a car last year, and have been told that I may have a sprained shoulder. It's tough.

I’ve been dealing with this exact problem for 5 years.....I’m still dealing with it now.
Except mine has involved 12 filings (I have terrible dry mouth as a side effect from antidepressants & bipolar meds) - the story is long and just as awful as this story......I’m so glad they have finally found the peace they need, I have no idea how much longer mine will take (I’m almost at the point where full arch implants are looking to be the way I need to go.....which is beyond what I can even imagine paying - espc with losing work and insurance now from covid). I can’t wait to be done regardless....it’s been 5 years since the problem began, and yes it was dentist negligence.
I’m in tears watching this because it’s exactly me. I’m at a loss to know someone else has had to go through this type of excruciatingly awful pain.
It gives me hope that one day I’ll be done with mine.
Fingers crossed. If anyone has a way to travel into the future (Delorean or tardis preferably) and go into the future for some winning lotto numbers for me - let me know.

A few months ago at school... I was playing as normal then I felt a bit strange... I suddenly fainted and smashed my teeth 🦷 they were all demolished. I'm only a minute in the video, and I just realized that this has actually happened to me. I had this bubble after the dentist tried to fix my broken tooth.
It grew underneath my jaw, growing bigger and bigger, and thanks to my mother, who also experienced it. She knew how to get rid of it. (Not by popping it, of course.)
It's really scary. I hope nobody else ever has to go through this scary experience.

This happened to my brother and it spread to his neck which game him an ugly friend on his left side. He got it treated quickly and all was good. I didn’t think too much of it, but I had no idea he could have passed away if untreated. I’m more grateful for my brother now and the health of my family!
The worst it’s ever gotten for me because of not brushing my teeth was gingivitis. After that I started to realize how important brushing your teeth was. I knew it could lead to a more serious form of gum disease, but never thought it could lead to sepsis. My god.

So my school has dentists come to the school each year for kids to get their teeth cleaned. When it got to the 4th grade classes, the first class went and we went after. Only one kid would be sent down at a time so it took a while to get to me. I got called down to the nurses office to get my teeth cleaned. When I got there, I sat in the chair and answered questions that the dentist's asked about my teeth. Then came the cleaning. She put her finger in my mouth and I bit her finger😂😂😂 then she was like "oop, don't bite!!!" Do yeah ❤️

When I was young I was living with my whole fam and they didn’t give me tooth paste then I got older my aunt gave me tooth paste I loved it then I left it at her house I cried then at age 6 I got my cavity teeth removed and I felt better btw I’m using my mom’s RUclips acc

I had somthing similar. the infection was a sinus infection that I had almost my whole life. I didnt have the tumor and all that tho. This infection almost cost me my life bc I didnt eat for 4 days but I would drink 10 to 15 cups of ice cold water to numb the pain a little. I would use a straw so the water would hit right on the tooth. My final exams were that week too that I passed. When I told my dad I didnt feel good the 4th day bc of lack of food and vitamins and nutrition he teared a little and told me over and over that I had to eat somthing. I never did tho until I got my tooth fixed. That time was heartbreaking and a little scary for me. So kids if you ever start to experience pain at all always tell your parents right away. You never know what could happen.

i have a tooth abcess right now and i can confirm this is true. the pain can go to your ears and stuff, and yeah its very painful. you can compress it with ice.
I despised dentists so much, as a child it was a nightmare...But,one day i was waiting for my turn and then though about it deeply and said to myself "damn it why am i even afraid!!!!!", i couldn't answer that question...was it the pain ? But there is anesthesia!
So i decided not to fear them anymore and that's it,that's litterly how i cured my dentophobia .
And i'm proud to say that it was one of the best things i've done, cuse currently i'm a dental student & i love it so much.
